2-Thrifting. Ik you’re probably tired of hearing it bc duh but… =) Try some local thrifts, big companies either suck, are expensive or both. I’d buy my skinnies from here. Press junkets and promotional material aren't for fans. The studios want fans to feel included, but at the end of the day, their biggest priority is to make money, To do that, they have to get as many eyeballs looking at their screens as possible. And the sooner Bridgerton fans realize this, the better off we will all be.

Netflix is not particularly worried about losing hardcore shippers/fans of the show. Those are the people they know will be watching. Netflix is focused on the people who watched the show once when it came out (the majority of the audience) and need to be reminded of its existence.

Every sneak peek, trailer, and interview is strategically timed to get seen by the most people possible. Let's say the trailer had been released in the last 7 days. It likely would have been drowned out by the new Star Wars show trailer, the House of the Dragon posters, the Beetlejuice teaser, the release of the X-Men show, and The Sims movie announcement just to name a few. Not only does that mean they would be losing out on some social media buzz, but that also means that when entertainment news sources like Entertainment Tonight cover the show, they'll have to share the airtime with those other shows. Even Bridgerton's leading lady has an entire other show she's putting most of her energy into. I do not like to defend Netflix, but in this case, maybe a team of PR experts knows more than a bunch of random people on the internet, especially given the success of the over the last 2 seasons (plus a spin-off).

It's absolutely fair to have criticisms regarding aspects of Bridgertons's marketing, especially when it concerns diversity, equity, and inclusion. But people are acting as though not getting a teaser trailer is some kind of personal attack against their ship or their fandom, when the PR team is probably ignoring most of that so they can focus on people who still need to be sold to.

I don't know, instead of thinking about promo as something we are owed (because we are very much not), consider it like the bonus features we get on a DVD. It's the cherry on top, not the ice cream.

Well, after drawing 88 different skeletal characters, here it is, the full series of "A Buncha Boneheads"! I was originally going to try and sell this as a poster but after looking into it, I don't think I can do that unless I want to deal with several dozen copyright laws.

This was quite the fun little exercise for me- the biggest challenge was trying to emulate the art styles of so many different series and properties. There are definitely more skull-headed characters out there that I could add, but frankly I think a nice even 88 is good enough, and there are other projects I want to work on for the future. Overall I'm pretty proud of this.

With that said, let me know if I've made a spelling mistake or something anywhere on here- I've tried my best but I just know I missed one or two somewhere.

Madame Web (S.J. Clarkson, 2024) – 2.14.24 Meh... kinda looks garbage, but Sydney Sweeney as Spider-Woman, so... yeah.

Dune: Part Two (Denis Villeneuve, 2024) – 3.1.24 Part One felt too incomplete to not be excited for this. Hopefully the pacing is better.

Mickey 17 (Bong Joon Ho, 2024) – 3.29.24 Thoroughly enjoyed the book and I love Bong Joon Ho.

Civil War (Alex Garland, 2024) – 4.26.24 The scope of the trailer sold me.

Challengers (Luca Guadagnino, 2024) – 4.26.24 Zendaya + Guadagnino has me sold.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (George Miller, 2024) – 5.24.24 Haaave you seen Fury Road?!?

Ballerina (Len Wiseman, 2024) – 6.7.24 Ana de Armas in a John Wick spinoff... yes, please.

Inside Out 2 (Kelsey Mann, 2024) – 6.14.24 The first was so emotionally rich. I want Pixar to make me cry again.

The Bikeriders (Jeff Nichols, 2024) – 6.21.24 Love Nichols' previous films. Excited to see what he delivers with this cast.

Deadpool 3 (Shawn Levy, 2024) – 7.26.24 Wade + Logan Forever.

Alien: Romulus (Fede Alvarez, 2024) – 8.16.24 Huge fan of the franchise, won't ever not be excited for an Alien movie.

Beetlejuice 2 (Tim Burton, 2024) – 9.6.24 God, the first is just perfection, skeptical but excited to see what Burton has up his sleeves for this one.

Joker: Folie à Deux (Todd Phillips, 2024) – 10.4.24 First was meg, overall, but Phoenix was fantastic, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Lady Gaga does with Harley Quinn.

Gladiator 2 (Ridley Scott, 2024) – 11.22.24 Meh... this is here because of Ridley and Denzel.

Nosferatu (Robert Eggers, 2024) – 12.25.24 My actual most anticipated film of 2024. Hate that Anya isn't attached, but the promotional stills have killed any doubts I might've had.

GUESS WHO WENT BACK FOR A ROUND 2!!!

I got curious and checked the B-Bway site for some shows on a whim. I saw that some seats had opened up in the exact same row as the first time I went, which is right down in the center front. So I immediately grabbed them cause I was frothing and foaming at the mouth to go back and see the show one more time before they moved on. After a ton of begging and a kidnapping, I brought my mother along who is just as big a fan of Beetlejuice as I am (considering she got me into the cartoon as a kid).

So! In the end, we had a fantastic time as both of us were giddy together. Though this time round, I managed to hit the store in person and load up on merch, with half of it being a bribe to my mom lol. That and scored some of the confetti from the end of the show. Luckily was close enough to snag some. So now I have big BJ Broadway tour poster for my room, a bunch of confetti, my sandworm, a sandworm Christmas ornament and naturally the playbill pamphlets from the Pantages theater for the show.

Though given how the musical ends, it gives me ideas~
