You like dolls right? Monster high, MLP and stuff. What's a good one to get for Christmas

OKAY SO.

It really depends on WHAT you are looking for and maybe what age group, yadda yadda yadda. And here are a few doll series I love to see when I go out.

MONSTER HIGH

I think the new gen of monster high dolls are SOOOO good and very cute. They have nice variety in body types and so much color. I have multiple of them just because they are just so cute. And their pricing is decent.

RAINBOW HIGH

IDK, something about the rainbow high doll's faces is just...so appealing to me, i love them all being kinda monocolored and having their own fashion styles. and i- IDK THEYRE JUST RLLY BEAUTIFUL TO ME ESPECIALLY FOR LIKE-- A BASIC ON THE SHELF DOLL LINE. THEY COME IN NORMAL SKIN TONES, COLORED TONES, B/W IDK. THEYRE JUST CUTE.

so im gonna break this down into 2 lines as i DO NOT like the babies but I LOVE the fashion dolls.

*LOL OMG

Besides their bug eye'd faces I think the fashion styles of these dolls to just be... so popping idk. They're fun to look at. If it's for a young kid/or you have a more conservative family who wouldn't be happy with brats I'd say be careful as they can come off as 'saucy' but tbh I think they're fine, the girlies are just fashionable.

*OMG TWEENS

So like I stated before, if maybe theyre a younger kid/have a conservitive family who may get pissy I think the tween series is a good alt as they are very toned down but still SUPER CUTE and tbh the faces fit alot better with the shorter bodies.

I'm more of a casual like... doll fan but I do know there are alot of doll channels that do talk about new releases (I personally like Darling Dollz on youtube) If any more hardcore doll fans would like to suggest some for anon feel free to reply/reblog w/e with some of your favorite doll lines for a nice christmas gift.

DOLLZ HOUZE REVIEW: it was okay i was expecting to love or hate it based on how ppl talked it up but it was just a decent level adjusting for me despising this kind of level bc of having crippling ipad baby brain

i liked that the monster was more about making u uncomfortable than scared but it was also a good amount of scary before it showed up so i liked it :)

#mostly i just appreciate that theyre fully leaning into making the game feel like youre going to rides at a theme park and then running #around the hub area getting popcorn and hot dogs and shit in between is very Yes We Are Gaming My Brother in a way i like #after so many years of AAA games trying to Be Movies #this is still the most misogynistic game ever made by the way. im just not gonna bother typing out paragraphs about it every time #you can assume literally every single thing that happens is happening so that the game can tell you women are worthless

- make a friendster, diaryland or xanga account

- collect hit clips 

- join a subculture

- go to underground raves and become part of a rave family

- wear chokers, baby tees and puka shell necklaces

- stan mary-kate and ashley olsen

- learn electric guitar or piano

- buy music at the mall

- get inspired by avril lavigne 

- write in forums or start my own

- code my own website from an html book

- pin stuffed animals to my bag or jeans

- diy some phat pants  

- make graphics in photoshop

- make dollz

- get a gateway or macbook clamshell

- collect stickers and soda tabs

late 00s:

- buy/put together a hi-fi system

- get the first iphone at the apple store on launch day

- start a youtube channel with a video camera

- become a scene queen on myspace

- promote skelanimals or an emo fashion line

- wear cami tunic tops under jackets and graphic tees

- shop at hot topic religiously

- work at build-a-bear or hot topic

- hang at warped tour with friends and plan outfits

- burn some rip of “hey there delilah” on a cd

- wear a lot of black and crochet my own beanies for fun

- blast my car speakers until i break them

Image 1: Poem titled "Beanie baby sickness" Written by Stephannie L. P, 13 years old. "First Grandma caught it, then she passed it on to me. This Beanie Baby sickness is like a flue, you see. Fortunately once you catch it, it turns into an addiction. You always want more to complete your collection! First I got Ziggy, Then I laid eyes on that cute little piggy. Eventually I had 20, Mom decided that was plenty. I begged to differ because I still needed Puffer. After she gave in, Grandma bought me Fortune. Then McDonald's came out with the Teenie Beanies. The first 10 Happy Meals were pretty good. I ate all those hamburgers - as many as I could. In not too long, the food tasted bad. And I began to feel very, very sad. Then I got a call - it was from my Uncle Paul. He said he had extras of all the Teenies. My Wish had been granted! I think he's my Genie. Daddy had driven me everywhere. He claimed that he didn't care, but I knew I'd passed it on to Daddy. Because when we got home. he asked to see my Patti!"

Whenever they get tired, they go off to bed. Good night, good night, sleepyhead. In the morning, they arise. They always wake before sunrise. Bucky goes swimming and Peanut for a jog. And Ally goes fishing with Smoochy the frog. Stretch goes on picnics and Pinky for a dip. Inch and Goldie play tag with Flip. All day long Quackers is waddling with Jake to the pond to visit Peking. When finally, all is said and done, and once again down goes the sun, off to bed in their haven so deep. Goodnight, goodnight and off to sleep!"
