idk if this is still the case but when i was really In It in animorphs feelings a couple years ago because i was unemployed for the first time in my adult life / temporarily living alone in the last house my family lived in / freaking out about climate change / generally Going Through It, and like poking around the animorphs scene on tumblr, there was this notion commonly expressed that rachel and tobias were "toxic," the major piece of evidence for which was the scene in 33 where she "tries to trap him in human morph." which like first of all i'm SOOOOOO SORRRY that the fucking fifteen-year-olds secretly fighting a guerrilla war in which their greatest threat is the mind-controlling slugs they're trying to save humanity from but their second greatest threat is the diminishing hourglass of their collective sanity as they all have to work steadily harder and more desperately to not just completely lose their shit entirely from all the violence and literal 24/7 constant threat and murder that is happening, like i'm sorry two literal children who have managed in this ongoing horror show to forge a bond of loyalty and affection and care and attraction and understanding that can act as a kind of solace neither of them have any other way to access, sorry those actual murder babies sometimes have some communication problems. lmao. but also it's insane to me that people read that scene (in which they're dancing to, i'm not making this up, iris by the goo goo dolls - i mean they don't tell us the song but it's a slow goo goo dolls number that even tobias knows, so - they're dancing to iris by the goo goo dolls at a school dance that is not going well because they are both awkward about the newfound public Officialness of their relationship and rachel who is the only one of them who has ever been capable of socializing like a normal person is in a particularly bad mood because of the emotional hangover of her starfish adventure [great concept executed terribly in the previous book], and then like after two entire minutes of letting himself feel some nice emotions tobias spots the clock and starts leaving to go demorph and then rachel runs after to him to awkwardly attempt to share that she is very fucked up about how insane she has become and she wants to hold on to things like school dances and also this is all happening in a hallway by a student poster on red tailed hawks that states their lifespan of a handful of years in the wild, it's so good) as rachel trying to trap tobias in morph, when like, first of all, "good thing happening -> time to punish myself for feeling nice for 5 whole seconds " is like THEE tobias thought pattern because he's the number one kidlit trauma baby of all time, like truly the first time i dove back into the series i was struck by how well his narrative voice captures Child Of Insane Family Dysfunctionality, he is NOT a reliable narrator on this, but also second, and more saliently, like, believing this scene is rachel attempting to trap tobias in morph requires that you believe rachel, all by herself, made a plan in advance and then attempted to execute it, which is a skill we literally never see her demonstrate even one fucking time outside of the comfortingly familiar hunting ground of the mall

1) Let me start this saying that, i know that people headcanon that Annabeth is terrible in the kitchen and Percy is the one who cooks. But!! In my view, both of them knows how to cook, okay? They like to cook for each other and they have wonderful times and moments while cooking together making romantic dinners. Still, Percy is still the one who cooks most of the time because Annabeth gets very tired by the end of the day.

2) Annabeth is very good in literally everything she does. And when i say everything, it goes to fighting, weaponry, project ideas and combat strategies to handmade stuffs. She even learned how to deal with her dyslexia and ADHD, although there’s some times she can’t.

3) Annabeth has abandonment issues, but she also has a big heart because of it. Why? Because even thought she truly felt abandoned by her father and goddess mother to the point of running away from home when she was seven years old, she will make sure that her kids feel very loved and won’t leave their side. At that point of her life, she will probably be retired from the quests and her demigod life. So yeah, she will want to have a normal life. She felt abandoned by Luke and Thalia, but never stopped making friends and she protects them with her life. Also remember when i said that Annabeth is the kind of person who would step back if notice the person she likes actually likes someone else? Because it was exactly what she did with Percy and Rachel. Annabeth stepped back because she noticed something was going on with them while she felt her feelings for Percy were growing stronger. She felt abandoned by him, but never stopped being his friend. Hell, she even protected Rachel and saved her from dying in the helicopter fall because Annabeth was the only one who could do it and she knew that Rachel’s death would devaste him. Annabeth is a person with a big heart, okay?

4) This is something that i can hopefully write during threads, but when i say that Annabeth looked for Percy nonstop when he disappeared in the lost hero book events, i mean that she barely had any sleep because she was worrying sick about him.

5) Annabeth doesn’t really show this side of her, but she is the kind of girl that likes to take care of herself. Like doing skincare, although she doesn’t really do it frequently, but she tries. She also doesn’t really use makeup, only in certain occasions.

6) Annabeth likes to read a lot — it’s how she learned how to deal with her dyslexia.

7) The phone she secretly keeps with her in the camp was given by her father after the events of the titan’s curse book where she got kidnapped and almost killed. She’s not suppose to have one because of her demigod aura and that can attract monsters more easily, but Frederick gave her the phone to send messages to her once in a while to see if she’s okay and safe.

8) Annabeth loves animals, but she’s a cat person.

9) Annabeth favorite books are Wuthering Heights and The Phantom of The Opera because they are not exactly romances.

10) She’s the kind of person that likes to cuddle and hugs a lot, so expect a lot of that if you are in a relationship with her.

Lance: so many different headcanons that i love. - that his dad died in an accident when he was young (like about 7) and he was mostly raised by his mom and his uncle, his mother's brother. - his uncle taught him how to shoot. Started off with shooting cans in their backyard with a shotgun because Lance's pre-diagnosed adhd was running wild, and he needed something to distract him so that he didn't drive his already busy mother crazy - he played soccer before the garrison and was actually pretty good at it - there is only a years difference between him and rachel - he is bisexual - he has adhd - he misinterpreted his jealousy/attraction of Keith as hatred/rivalry - Insecure about his position but gains more and more confidence through Voltron - Met Hunk at the garrison (but sometimes i also like to imagine them as childhood best friends :')) ) - had a reputation at the garrison as a flirt, but he never let that deter him really - he's a flirt sure, but he's just trying his luck with love. I don't think he doesn't care about the people he flirts with, he actually cares a lot, and i think if anyone would just give him a shot, that he would make a great boyfriend (I am not counting canon allurance here bc there's so much wrong with that and this is already so long) - His love language is words of affirmation and physical affection - he has a giant scar on his back, either from the explosion in s1 or the lighting electricity thing from s6 - he has scars on his hands as well from practice - someone said that he throws knives with perfect aim and honestly i love that so much i'm gonna steal it - he has brown eyes :')) - he has glow in the dark stars in his childhood bedroom and a guitar that his grandmother painted a wave on

Keith: - His dad died when he was 10 and he ended up in foster care directly after that - He self sabotaged the good homes because he didn't feel worthy of their love/because he still had hope his mom was gonna come after him - he loves his dad so much, like so fucking much - he's a lowkey artist. like,,,, he doesn't talk about it or anything, sometimes he just doodles, or he thinks about painting, you know stuff like that - his love language is acts of service and quality time - He met shiro when he was 13 - he's homodemisexual (fav hc) - He's asian (either japanese or korean, but really any east asian is good by me) - He's never been kissed - He's never drunk before - He went to the garrison to stay with shiro and because he didn't really have anything else to do. I don't think he was particularly interested in space tbh, like yea his dad might have been vague about the stars once but i don't think it really became a drive until after he met shiro or shiro disappeared - He's emotionally mature, but expresses his feelings rather agressively - he's blunt - has multiple scars on his person, not sure whether i'm fond of his cheek scar because of the context - not really into music as such (listens to a song here and there maybe, mostly the radio but even that is like,,, eh)

Pidge: - NON-BINARY (most important one) - asexual - is a literal child, so this means she still has a lot of maturing to do in regards to how she handles things - she may be a genius, but intelligence does not equal emotional maturity - i don't really have many headcanons for this gal unfortunately :((

Hunk: - raised by his mom and his dad - has an aunt that his mother doesn't liek to talk about because she's in a scandalous relationship with her boss - LOVES gossip - sunshine, friends with everyone - samoan --> learned to cook from his mother and his grandmother (mostly grandmother) - has an uncle who's a single father of one son - has two aunts that are raising two children together - lets only shiro into the kitchen to help (he simply doesn't trust the others) - Met Lance at the garrison (although again, childhood best friends :')) ) - sexuality... i've seen some people headcanon him as pansexual but idk,,, i can't really see him with a guy despite my love for heith and hance so im conflicted ToT - i don't have a lot for my boy hunk here either im sorry :'(((

Any Headcanons for movie Sonic?

😱 Head Canons?!😱

I have so many! Like... so many that I prolly won’t remember them all:

I think Sonic had to learn how to speak a new language when he came to Earth. I think that he can still speak in his native tongue, but also speak English.

Sonic LOVES piggy back rides. You can’t change my mind on this. He also likes to ride in a backpack as long as he can stick his head out.

Sonic does not know what a normal Earth hedgehog looks like. He thinks that cacti, hairbrushes, pin cushions and a pineapples are Earth hedgehogs.

Sonic has an assortment of costumes that he will wear around town. On top of that, he has names for every one of his alliances. For example, he has one called “Cherry Dude the Real Estate Agent.” Another one that he is “The Milkman,” who delivers milk and happens to be a doctor. This one he’s really proud of, he has one allias of a spoiled rich 20-something-year-old named “Jean Ralphio.”

Sonic loves eating slugs, chili dogs, donuts, fruits, veggies, bugs, dinosaur chicken nuggets, and golden sticks (French fries).

Sonic loves to doodle and draw pictures. He will leave his pieces of art all around the house and hang it on the fridge. Maddie has made it a habit to save every piece of art and Tom has a drawing of this on his desk at work.

He also has a composition notebook filled with doodle and a journal of what his life has been like so far since living with The Wachowskis.

Sonic loves flowers and puts them in his quills.

Sonic will collect random things around town. Why? Because why not? Sees a fork—thinks it’s a hairbrush. Sees a stop sign—a new poster for his room. Shiny blue rock thing that sparks electric energy—steals it and keeps it to give to Maddie on Mother’s Day. It’s very reminiscent of The Little Mermaid.

On top of collecting random stuff, if Sonic sees something odd and likes it, he’ll give it to Tom and Maddie as small gifts. He’ll put a bow on it and leave it on their bed.

Sonic LOVES to go shoe shopping. Any time Maddie and/or Tom mentions of shoes, Sonic will beg to go to the mall in Springvalley and go to the PUMA, Addidas, and Nike stores.

The first time going into a shoe store, Sonic cried over how beautiful it looked and with how many shoes he could wear and keep.

Sonic will wear clothes, just not pants. He claims all the time that his fur is “like the softest pair of pajamas that you’ll ever own.”

Sonic’s favorite breakfast foods are pancakes, cereal with spiders in it, fruits with donuts, and bacon.

He’s still afraid of humans. He’s afraid that the humans will turn him into the USA government one day, but he doesn’t talk about it. Tom and Maddie know that he has this fear of humans still, but they try to work with him more on not being afraid to engage with them.

Sonic does, actually, see a therapist.

As much as Sonic loves Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady, he’s afraid to get really close to them. He’s afraid that if he grows attached to them, he’ll have to leave and go to the Mushroom Planet. Tom and Maddie work with him on assuring him that it’s okay to be open with people and form connections.

He is friends with The President of the United States (The Rock), as well as Taylor Swift.

Sonic loves baseball. He’s the smallest on the team, but he’s the best batter that the team has had in years. Tom is the assistant coach to the team, Wade and Maddie help as volunteers.

Sonic has both ADHD and PTSD.

Sonic is best friends with Bigfoot. Whenever Sonic talks to Tom, Wade, JoJo, Maddie, and Rachel about Bigfoot—he claims his name is Harry—no one seems to believe him... not even Crazy Carl believes him.

Sonic will dance and sing to himself when he’s happy. He’ll dance in front of others, but he won’t sing.

I have a firm belief that he’s either 12-13. James Marsden said in an interview that Sonic was twelve and Jeff Fowler said in his interview that Sonic was thirteen. This is pretty much up for interpretation.

Sonic loves to go to work with both Tom and Maddie. He has made a calendar for himself in what days he can go to work for what parent.

Sonic will run around town and do errands for Tom and Maddie. He’s their little delivery boy.

Sonic is very conscious of being adopted. He knows that Tom and Maddie want him in his life, but the reality of the situation is still surreal and dream like to him. He wants to call them “mom and dad,” but he doesn’t know if it would seem appropriate.

Sonic is Jewish.

If you place your cellphone, laptop, tablet, or anything electronic based on top of Sonic’s head, Sonic is able to charge it.

Sonic sees JoJo more as a big sister than a cousin.

Sonic absolutely HATES it when people ask him if he speaks “animal.” Just because he lived in a forest for his whole life doesn’t mean that he knows how to talk to ALL types of animals. Just forest creatures and household pets.

As of now, before he notices them more, his main enemies are The Springvalley Sluggers, à squirrel in the backyard, and his other next door neighbor.

Sonic is the main reason why a majority of the traffic signs around town are missing. He loves them and uses them to decorate his Gremlin cave in the attic.

Sonic can purr... but it’s on a rare occasion.

Sonic loves coffee... but Tom and Maddie don’t give it to him a whole lot.

Tom and Maddie have several photos of Sonic on their cellphone.

Whenever Sonic travels, he brings a camera with him to take photos of stuff. Both Tom and Maddie have asked if he does it to document his travels. In a sense, he does, but with the spare rings that he has, he sends them to his island—from what he can remember of it—in hopes that Longclaw can see that he’s alright.

Sonic doesn’t remember much of his island anymore, but he remembers some details.

He’ll tell you, “no, I don’t remember them,” but he remembers fragments of his biological parents. All he remembers is a river, an ambush, Longclaw, and a basket.

Sonic is VERY protective of his family. Whenever someone pokes fun at them, even if it’s supposed to not be harmful, Sonic is the first to react and protect them.

Sonic will curl up next to Tom and Maddie and sleep on them when he’s tired. He feels protected and tells them both that they feel like his people. He feels safe with them.

Once a week on Friday’s, Tom, Wade, and Sonic go to elementary schools and talk about DARE with the kids. Sonic gets a huge kick out of being in the classroom with Donut Lord and Wade. He often sits in the group with the kids and listens to the two talk.

Sonic gets forehead kisses, head pats, ear rubs, and a kiss on his paws. Maddie will kiss his paw, put his glove back on, and say, “you have my heart in your paws. It’s there forever.” Tom just gives him a head rub and tell him that he loves him in his own special way.

I have a lot more, but this is what I could think of on the top of my head. If I remember them all I’ll reblog... if you’re all interested.😅

- bruce is indifferent to children annoying him to death and he’s perfected his stone cold facade but sometimes it breaks and it’s for the sweetest most softest reasons... sometimes rachel gets into hyperfixation mode and since bruce himself & the whole batfam has adhd he totally just Gets it... like rachel will speak for hours on end about art and painting and the different styles and bruce will just sit there. listening. ears wide open and eyes just so soft bc a lil fun fact about bruce is that he loves art! he tries to paint and draw as a hidden hobby so when rachel talks about it he’s like !!!!! this is so cute and i am Listening to you lil red <3

- other times rachel will just Annoy him for shits and giggles she’ll be like 😳 damn bruce um who got paint on your table??? and that cheeto dust... i thought you said you don’t eat junk food? 🤨 and bruce is like.
