Hey! Nope, I don’t speak korean ^^’I knew how to read it a while ago but I’m definitely rusty and i still need a dictionary when it comes to things more difficult than “hello” “thank you” “sorry” “please” and “my name is”

The korean phrase I have in my bio is something that a kpop singer I really liked and related to who died recently said and since it was important to me I put it there ^^’

#about #i was a huge koreaboo bakc in the day which makes me cringe a lot now #but i do miss the selflessness of those days in which i'd just practice reading and writing in korean #i did stop when i figured out everything that was wrong with that world #and like... i want to underline that even though i am nostalgic of lots of things i don't plan on coming back to that world #because i know all the bad aspects downsides and dark shit that goes in those kind of fandoms #the shit i witnessed #anyway tho back to the main topic #i really wish i had the intellectual strenght to like... study korean #and japanese #and russian #and chinese #and arab #(though there's thousands of dialects for the last two and it would be incredibly hard) #idk i am just really fascinated with languages that are not latin/german based #though i have no idea how german works #i am able to read and have basic understanding of most western european languages #thanks to those latin classes #idk #babel was a mistake #@ god or whoever: bring back the one language for everyone dayas
