Hello Team, I've heard you have experience regarding abused pokemon? Recently I've received from my boss a teddiursa, I believe this little bear is quite small. I don't know too much about it but it used to be abused. I don't have much experience with teddiursa..As normally I train poison types. Ya'll have any tips to help Teddiursa feel at home and possibly get along with my poison types?
Professor Kryspyn: "its a process approaching abused Pokémon, I will be honest and say its not an easy process. Though really I know this is achievable, I do suggest keeping a support structure with your Teddiursa my friend, with my experience they can be very gentle Pokémon but quick on their feet. Without much detail in the trauma experience, you do have to tread lightly to not stress them out too much. Enrichment is a another common thing I do, to approach and study what they value close. And in this case one hundred percent use honey! And I don't mean only bringing some to your Teddiursa but monitor their habits, its common for them to lick their paws constantly their paws always sticky with their own honey! But its a good sign to see how they are health wise if they aren't that's a case for concern but as long as they are licking their paws we should be fine my friend, if you offer honey of your own…"
"Be mindful as they do tend to hide it in places for later but allow it, it will bring that home feel for them. For your Poison types my friend you have to simply have them interact but its best not to force it, have them in the same environment but slow introduce itself there are any signs of fear its best to back your team off and give your friend space but importantly keep your self calm. Your low energy will keep both sides some assurance keep the process slow as many Pokémon integrate slow, it known I like to let them get to interact with something between them often just."
"A Nursery door is best suggested, so they can hear each other and meet without provoking a battle. Oh! and if your Teddiursa does hide honey keep a clean up kit close by, Fanalia has never let me live down the clutch cushions being glued to the frame by honey stuck in between, its hard to get Honey out of fabric as it turns out."
Professor Fanalia: *Looks at Kryspyn with a raised eyebrow* "And I'll never let you forget it. Why do you think I ask every morning if you have your cleaning cleaning kit? Your lucky Grandma Rue now packs it regularly in case you forget num nuts."
*Turns to face the camera* "Hopefully this advice helps @graveyarddemon and have a little happy Teddiursa under your care."

Hey my zoroark volunteers here gardening at night and he Keeps bringing me the stuff he cleaned like weeds, rotten plants and dead plants etc for my garden is that okay with you? And if so can i bring stuff from my own garden for compost?
Professor Kryspyn: "Oh goodness! Might I just start by saying your Zororark is so well mannered, he is such a good comrade caring for things like that! I am pretty sure none of us would care at all in fact those weeds and such are being put to good use here for the mulching, and composting for the greenhouses really. I'm sure something could be worked out with Romaine on it, I'm not too sure what she would use weeds for but maybe she would be just fine with that too!"
Groundskeeper Romaine: "Thanks Kry." *Chuckles* "But Kryspyn is correct, your Zoroark Companion has been most helpful around the gardens and green houses here on Rejuven. With his shape-shifting illusions he can get to all sorts of crevices that others might have difficulty reaching. Volunteer work is a great way to support community or facilities; I'm guessing your joining the marauder division?"
*mumbles* "I think on one of the plans was to build a Marauder HQ and Volunteer facilities on Opal Crescent. I'll need to chat with the faculty members"
"Of course, it shouldn't be a problem at all!"

HAITUS LEAVE - Due to Hospitalization
Tumblr media
Professor Kryspyn: "I do apologize for the lack of response, and the lack of answers but I greatly appreciate everyone's patience. I'm here to provide a quick update as to why we've been unable to answer and the low number of updates about Rejuven isles in general. This is because one of our own professors, Professor Fanalia is due for a hospital surgery the next coming week because of some great pains in her lower abdomen. So, until our dear professor goes through the surgery appointment, and recovery period, I please ask for your patience again."

Have you or any of your staff had a Pokémon use helping hand them and for what?
Professor Kryspyn: "Yes! A chance to praise 2 of my biggest best partners in the Nursery, One My Charizard Mama, the warmest soul you'd ever meet, capable of mothering struggling juvenile Pokémon better than I could, without her natural ability I would still struggle with incubating many eggs in get in mg section of the facility, there's nothing but sheer respect for her, ooh another would be my buddy Tike not only the Mudkip that really started it all for me, but he's such a great Pokémon for being that playmate a lonely Pokémon needs, Little…well I guess my now not so little tike is the best partner to go to for aiding in socializing Pokémon in general, these or my two shining lights, though i have so much more we'd be here so long haha!"
Doctor Elias: "I can say with Certainty that I get lots of help in my portion, and they are all super helpful, in think one Pokémon what is with me pretty much most of the day has to be me and my Luxray, the ability to understand a quick check on the health of bones, makes checking physical injuries go much quicker so I can aid in a timely manner, and really its such a small portion of what's done. A big part of it though is if it weren't for my team I feel like I'd be truely nothing or at least lacking in efficiency."
Professor Fanalia: "I believe they were asking about the move Helping hand."
Professor Kryspyn: *Sheepishly smiles* "Oh, hehehe."
Professor Fanalia: "We rarely use it on ourselves, but when we do, its mostly to help with chores around the island, like collecting wood, planting trees, gardening and so forth. It's like gaining energy after a good long rest, or a good meal, but a boost. We also have a few assistant Pokémon that stay beside other Pokémon that require assist through their daily life 24/7. Just like how some humans have assistant Pokémon; some of our patient Pokémon have assistance too. They use to move to help elderly Pokémon."

Professor Kryspyn, I have a problem with my Impidimp. She's been stealing food from me and my Flaafy lately. When I catch her, she kneels down and begs for my forgiveness, then does it again as soon as I turn around. She also seems to want to battle much more than usual, often trying to drag me to nearby routes to train against wild Pokemon. She does love to play tricks, but stealing was never an issue. What might be happening to cause this behaviour, and how do I discourage her from stealing?
Tumblr media
Professor Kryspyn: “Many factors could be causing this behavior, it can depend on her history like whether or not she has issues of possession which actually brings me to my idea, Impidimp as Pokémon naturally are mischievous, it is common for them to enter people's homes and steal things from their houses. She may be having these natural behaviors peaking out, though if she hasn't had this issue before there could be an insecurity issue, food does seem strange, I think on your daily routine especially if she is taking you on routes to train more often than usual. She could just be missing some sort of enrichment, pent up energy really, I say the best approach I have had to deal with stealing is having things for them to find in this case food. Now to punish unintended things being stolen, discipline will have to be enacted and we want to break the urge to steal things, she will want aim for a sort of yes an no situation with positive and negative reinforcement; put something out that she knows is yours, if she takes it show that you do not tolerate the stealing of your things. A stern tone can often correct the behavior when they know how you feel towards their reactions, then take the item back and replace it at the place you had left it. Then finally turn away again. However; the times you turn back and the food hasn't be stolen give a positive reaction, give a positive posture, a warm voice and give her the food item, its a slow process but it is effective to show Pokémon that they do not have to steal to get something delicious. For added aggression she could be just looking for more out time, look into what she has to interact with like toys and space she can explore.”

This more or less a question open to anyone how many times have you each have to stop your Pokémon from getting into trouble they couldn’t get out of?
Tumblr media
Professor Kryspyn: “Well if we are on about our Pokémon, many of mine are well associated with being good towards everyone, but I think my little trouble maker continues to be Tike or as the others call him Skipper. The Closest my little guy had ever been in trouble had to be when he tried trying to leap off his lily pad without supervision, the other water types know to look out for him, but with a lack of a leg its hard for him to keep balance. There are many times I have had to look over my shoulder to make sure he doesn't get ahead of himself, as he gets older he gets a little bit more and more independent he gets! though he's only had it bad when he was little little, now he knows to look out for my Lapras  when I am away if he wants to swim.”
Doctor Elias: “Trouble does come around often, this is a high stress environment that I work in, emergencies can come by unexpectingly. The most trouble I have had was a nervous jiggly puff, he was lovely to have but noticeably he got queasy with the more in depth situations I have had in my section of the ranch. There was this only time he had felt sick, while calming a Vulpix who was having her first litter so all hands were on deck, of course that came with his singing beginning to falter so she was starting to become more aware to the pains than she needed to. But that was as much trouble as we have here, he's well trained and knew, I love him and I still work closely with him to this day. after all, we all learn and make our mistakes and he cant help it, we'll strengthen his stomach eventually.”

P.Fanalia I seem to have an issue recently my male agron bred with my female tyranatar and rather than being the normal color of larvitar eggs it came out with silver splotches my pokemon can't make head or tale of it and my blazikan and empoleon are looking more panicked and moved their three chicks far away from it. Any commentary on this issue would be nice. Thank you
Tumblr media
Professor Fanalia: “Eggs and breeding are not my expertise, since I handle older Pokémon to record and behavioral patterns n’ rehabilitation. But This is a question that must be answered so I’ll pass it onto Kryspyn and Elias since they deal with more Pokémon eggs and breeding behaviors than I do.”
Doctor Elias: “Thank you Fanalia. And What an opportunity! What you have there is something of a unique situation, its fascinating how some Pokémon can mix, it's a beautiful in a way, But I will tell you I will leave the breeding n’ nursing behavior to Kryspyn but there's a lot you need to look out for medically in this. Things could get easier or harder, its all in the development of the little one growing in that egg. I suggest you get a hold of medical professionals closer to you soon, when it comes with Half-breed Pokémon Development can take some turns that can otherwise be negative to them now the severity can be very dependent and you'll truly only know how bad it will be when they finally hatch. Here's my suggestions on care, preparations, Steel-type Oils, its common for Pokémon with scales and armored plating to have defects, like misshaped connected plate joints, soft plates or even malformed plating. Start Daily check ups now monitor the health of the egg and the embryo inside. the oils are important with smoothing joints to avoid discomfort and sooth most irritation.”
Professor Kryspyn: “Elias is right, but now for the behavioral part of things. Take a closer look at the Pokémon close to the eggs, already it seems as though you describe them being rather nervous around it and keeping away, its not a terrible thing for them to make distance from your egg but do keep in mind that fear can quickly turn to aggression in the right conditions. Keep the parents close to their offspring, but eye their care to said egg both parents if stressed out have a high chance of detaching from their egg form a sense and abandoning it. Its important you give them ample space to feel comfortable and safe security is huge. Any outside Pokémon need to be taught not to fear the offspring so its good to allow the parents to venture with it if they please but be mindful but know that your other Pokémon will need to adjust to such a strange occurrence it has to be in their environment to avoid any heavy fear that could harm the egg either now or later down the line. So supervising is a must.”

Is it that common to find abandoned eggs in the wild?
Tumblr media
Professor Kryspyn: “Oh its not common at all, there are factors in this world that will definitely cause an egg to be abandoned, like parents leaving their egg which is caused by many other factors also, there's also human error or simply trainers who lost their interest. So it's very much not common, I now only have 2 in the incubation room now and they are very healthy. But I only get an egg at least every 4 months on average, of course this is life and its very much at random. But I'm glad we don't see abandoned eggs often it is not an easy topic.”

Kryspyn Ik this May get you into a lot of trouble but what’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen finila(hope I spelled that right) do
Tumblr media
Professor Kryspyn: *Quickly looks side to side to check coast is clear*  “Okay keep this between you and me, I should keep this quick since she reviews these responses sometimes, but I think the funniest thing I have seen Fanalia do was attempt to rescue her lunch from our recent turn in a troublesome trickster of a Buizel, Ever since I properly taught him to swim, he'll steal her lunch while she's eating and by the time she attempts to retrieve it from his rock it just takes one little push! then its gasps for Kryspyn to go get her several towels! Look if you read this Fanalia I promise I did not teach him this!”

Kryspyn what are some instances you’ve seen parent Pokémon get a bit to “overprotective” of their babies? Because I read a article about a mother samurout went a bit berserk when she saw someone walking near one of her pups and it made me curious if you’ve her seen something like this happen
Tumblr media
Professor Kryspyn: “Oh it is all too common for over protection to happen, I've seen it a lot in mother Pokémon who were wild or Pokémon mothers who prefer to nurse in private. I have seen the worst in more tragic Pokémon cases like fathering Pokémon who have lost the mothering half of the family, I'll tell you there's nothing more scary than a over protective Charizard holding his babies close its a lot but he'll thank us for feeding them one day! But always there's over protective Pokémon its natural that is their future its a lot of trust if they let you close to it.”

(@ask-professor-cedar-pmd) Hello! In my research, I have come upon across a Thievul interested in my work! Though they have a scar across one of their eyes, should I be concerned for them? I admittedly haven't studied Pokemon biology as much as I probably should have. Their behavior and how they interacted always interested me more.
Doctor Elias: "Its fair to be concerned, I would monitor for pain while they're under your care, first thing I would do is observe, but really if its already scarred up then truthfully their body has taken care of it. Though if it looks like it is affecting its sight then its best to bring your friend to a medical professional nearest to you, for now it seems like its more of a case of you being chosen and now must concern with their care-"
Professor Kryspyn: "Oh! I must add. The one thing of concern is watching your plate! *Laughs* Thievul's are magnificently intelligent, really when they take in interest in your work, just keep in mind they tend to watch your every move and.... ehhhhh *Chuckles nervously* well they like to snatch things, seriously I have had wild Thievuls snatch many of my camping rations. Though they do make great trickster companions, Fanalia has yet to find her favorite book mark!"
Professor Fanalia: "I still haven't found it... that thieving little-"
Professor Kryspyn: "-GAH! I hope that answers your question @ask-professor-cedar-pmd!"

WHAT WE DO? The Neverland Pokémon Rehabilitation Centre focuses on the care, the health and well-being of Pokémon who’ve been mistreated, misused, and/or badly injured due to human causes. Our work is divided into Six Divisions, but we all are responsible for the health, nutrition and well-support of every Pokémon that comes under our care. Mostly we study and record the behavioural patterns of Pokémon to better understand their world, and to share that knowledge to help trainers build a healthier relationship with their partners.
All Six Divisions share a mutual goal, each of the staff members have different areas of expertise, which is required when you handle Pokémon eggs, Baby Pokémon in the nursery, abandoned and/or injured Pokémon of all ages, to elder Pokémon, and battle-proned/aggressive Pokémon who have become too much to handle for a simple trainer. Our Centre handles all sorts, and offers a multitude of events for the public to partake in.
The care facilities here match any Pokécentre you may come across, with available rooms for short stay rental. Unfortunately, Camping isn’t an event here as we considering our patience front and foremost, for most of our wildlife are those rescued/retrieved or wild. We also rehabilitate and rehome many species, should both parties be interested in the partnership, feel free to call or contact us for an appointment and we can discuss further from there.
All public locations are signposted, Pokémon guides frequent most locations should you become lost, and you’re free to wander the grounds in your own time. If you want to explore more of the Rejuven’s archipelago, chat with Tom and he’ll gladly give ya ride.
WHERE WE ARE – HOW TO FIND US:
Our Island archipelago is off the central equator in the southern western seas of the Kalos Region. It’s a fair distance from the mainland, and its not visible from the shoreline so it requires a bit of a boat ride to the islands. You can ferry across from Ambrette Town or Courmarine City should you not have a travel Pokémon, or of course surf/fly over at your own leisure. It’s recommended to visitors to book ahead of time whether for a visit/appointment or vacate at the Rejuven Archipelago, depending on the season before making the trip. And make sure to pack well! For the islands are mostly temperate but with a tendency for storms and cold winter nights.

MAIN LAB – The lab is in the center of the facility, is the domain of where the Neverland’s Team research facility, and Pokecentre is located, with its adjacent office where Professor Kryspyn and Professor Fanalia get calls or emails about Pokémon needed help or to be relocated to Rejuven to rehabilitate. Hey! I have a question. I'm aware that most ice types are weak to fighting, but how well do fighting types handle icy/snowy conditions? Specifically Falinks. I'm an avid hiker and I take my Falinks with me wherever I go, they really enjoy our adventures together! I'm planning on hiking in a very cold and snowy area next week, but I'm not too sure how well my Falinks will handle it. Any advice?
Professor Kryspyn: "Ah! yes environmental protection it's big I get that is to great importance for you to be able to go on trips like that. A lot of the time trying to see how a Pokemon, in this case your Falinks will react to countermeasures against the cold. Carrying plenty of blankets is important, and normally if one Failinks likes the blanket the rest will! really I feel like Falinks are the best for this as they can choose to huddle together most of he time and that is big to keep warm! Layers will be big I'd say see if you can also try to get them layers anything they could have on them while you are on the move would be important too especially for those little feet."
Groundskeeper Romaine: "I believe there is a store that sells little Pokemon shoes, and small bits of clothing to Pokemon for colder climates. I believe its called Snowruntwares."

Hi it's alex from Alexandria's home for wayward wanders just sharing what tips or tricks I can help with which mainly is stuff pertaining to Pokemon of the unovan region or Pokemon variants caused by either hybrid backgrounds or hybrid parents and hybrids themselves which funfact currently the rescue I run is currently housing six hybrids pertaining to the legal case happening in unova about "professor" grain and the illegal hybrid experiment he had been running which before it was busted by rangers had made about 20 hybrid eggs and a couple infant Pokemon hybrids supposedly he was trying to use ditto stem cells to create hybrids between none breedable/hybridable Pokemon(any or all of your characters could react/respond to this if you want-mod)
Professor Fanalia: "It's a pleasure to meet you Alex from Wayward Wanders. We're happy to meet more professors, Rangers, Wanderers, Breeders, Doctors, and Specialist of all the like. Information and ways to help any Pokémon from any region, though while we don't have any Hybrids as of yet in the nursery, or any rescued Hybrids patients due to misguided or mistreatment of humans. But we open for any fostering should you require aid in return, and should we come across any we'll know who to ask."
Professor Kryspyn: “Its really sad to hear, there are still people out there who walk the path that hurts Pokémon. But its great to hear you took up the mantle to housing these illegal Hybrids, giving them a proper second chance and to ensure their safety and that they don’t end up hating humans because of one or more have done to them. Nonetheless feel free to visit!”

To both professors have you ever seen Pokémon try and naturally hybridize I heard I can happen sometimes and wanted to know if it’s true or just a myth
Professor Kryspyn: "OH! I love this, oh gosh yes! It is very much a possible thing, though rare it is there. Pokémon can successfully make hybrids, as long as physically capable of course. But its a thing for me to harbor many beautiful and unique little babies, and really they fit in so well, though they are genetically different they are brightest stars in my nursery."
Professor Fanalia: "Its not really my expertise, but as you can see our Head of the Nursery Division is very much in love, whether they be normal baby Pokémon, Regional variant babies, and even the rare few hybrid ones. I would imagine that in the wilds it’s a little more rare, due to a lot of things could go wrong. Not to be morbid, but I feel like hybrids that are born in the wild may struggle to survive. You really have no idea how the parents would react, how strong their immune system is or whether they have ways to defend themselves. Not say bad things happen all time, but life isn't easy."
Doctor Elias: "Yes so all the words, Kryspyn oogled over in his statement I'll summarize for all our sakes. It's far from myth in fact a Professor most of us know has a hybrid, @prof-peach has one on her team, a beautiful mix of a Grachomp and a Charizard by name of Beu."

I’d love to book a date to visit the Sea Spire, could you tell me more about the Pokémon who live and sing together there. What kind of environment do they live in?
Professor Fanalia: " Certainly! The Sapphire Sea Spires are the small islands located North of Agate Island, They are the few first islands you see if your travelling down from Kalos towards the Archipelago. They are certainly not hard to miss, very much like their name the 'rocky' spires that form out on this small land masses, glint reflectively off the sun, or light of ships - making it almost like a naturally formed light house."
"The Sapphire Sea Spires are one of the tiny few strange mysteries of the Rejuven Archipelago. It certainly explained a little why this Archipelago was once named the Jewels of the Kalosian Sea. Some theorists who have speculated that the 'glinting rocks' that spire up along side, or amongst the normal rock spires are actually large amounts of Sea glass that has formed together over time and smoothed over into the beautiful twisting spires that we see today, others have guess its just natural sea formed Sapphire that has congregated from the minerals getting trapped against the rocky sea crop. Either way they have formed into beautiful crystalized twisting spires, that oddly attract quite a few flying types."
"Personally, we hadn't really investigated since ores and crystals aren't really our thing. But behavior research is! the inhabitants there include Wingull, Pelipper, Cramorant, a variant of Fletching evolution, the Rufflet lineage, the Pidgey line that nest around and in the rocky outcrops. We've guess this singing phenomenon occurs during the entry of different seasons, and because where the Archipelago is located, the Water-type Pokémon migration cuts through there."
Professor Kryspyn: "We've see so many! from Wailord lineage, Golducks, Tentacool, Dewgong, Horseas in all different colours, Goldeen, to even Gyarados, Laprases, Lantern and Chinchou at night with Finneons, Mantine, Sharpedo, pods of Magikarp and Febas with Milotics, Skrelp lineage, and Alomomola! Its honestly the strangest and beautiful thing to witness. Its stumped us, but we haven't given up yet to find out more about this behavior!"
Professor Fanalia: “Hopefully this answers any inquires you have @alexanders-pokemon-adventure.”
