the conflation of Zionism, the state of Israel, and Judaism is the worst thing on the planet, actually. Saying that supporting Palestine is antisemitism not only makes the struggle against genocide worse but it also makes the struggle against antisemitism worse! The more we conflate antizionism with antisemitism the less we will be able to spot actual antisemitism and the more we will harm the Jewish community and it is the greatest betrayal to Jewish people of all. Zionists (and 'leftists' who's hate for antisemitism is stronger than their love for jewish people and therefore inact alienation and conflation themselves) are doing a huge disservice to Jewish people (especially Jewish people who support Palestine and are being attacked by zionists and face so much antisemitism from zionists) and it's sickening.

I'm saying this as a non-jewish black person. You can SEE how much ACTUAL antisemitism is affecting the Jewish community but zionists are trying to conflate that with pro-palestinian protests and it's so frustrating.

How can zionists say that "from the river to the sea" is more colonialist than "we want '48"?

This post was inspired by an interview on MSNBC about the book "uncomfortable conversations with a jew" and seeing how they're also trying to frame antizionism and anti-Israel protests as equivalent to the civil rights protests and efforts towards freedom from the black community is sickening. This is an actual conversation to be had about antisemitism, antiblackness and intersectional activism and class solidarity between the Jewish community and the black community but the way they frame it in this lense is the biggest disservice, not just to the black and Jewish community but to every marginalized community. You CANNOT say that Israel's efforts to ethnically cleanse and genocide Palestine is the same as the African diaspora's (but specifically African American's) fight for rights and freedom, especially since the two biggest faces of the civil rights movement (Martin Luther King Jr. And Malcolm X, who was a pan African) were for the Jewish community AND for Palestine.

please. We can be pro-palestine and support Jewish people. That is something you can do. And I ENCOURAGE it.

Zionism ≠ judaism. Israel ≠ judaism. We understand this the same way we understand that nazi ≠ German citizens and that the state of russia ≠ russian citizens.

Bad News (End of WishClan)

Hello everyone, this is Sunny.

I know everyone's been really excited for the new moon. I was too. I was working very hard on it so I could release it soon.

Unfortunately, something went wrong with my Clangen game, and all of the files got corrupted.

Everything got deleted.

I'm so, so sorry about this, and it breaks my heart to have to see this happen so early into the clan.

Honestly, I don't know what to do. Everything I saved, including the sprites, are deleted and are unable to be restored.

Again, I truly apologize for the sudden notice. I wish it was a joke. I really wish this wasn't happening, that this was not a permanent change, but it is. Honestly, I'm devastated. All the stories I planned out are practically useless now that the game, the cats, everything is gone.

I think that I'll be starting a new Clangen blog once I manage to get everything situated again. You know, a fresh start. Once I fix everything, I'll link the new blog to this one.

I will take in the feedback from the comic format poll I posted earlier as well.

I will also create a final comic for WishClan's fall, for its end. Although its plot and lore was cut extremely short, I think it deserves a nice goodbye.

If anyone is interested in my WIP of Moon 6, I could post that too, just ask me for it.

For the last time, I am very sorry about this happening. If you have any questions about the original plot of the story as well, I'd be happy to answer.

Dungeons and Daddies Theme Songs: Alright and On My Way are about the kiddads...

Listening back to season 1 after the episode Alright, I had the realization that both theme songs for both seasons aren't about the pcs. The first is about the kids. The second is about the dads. I know this is most likely super unintentional but now it's stuck in my head and i can't let it go. Spoilers for both seasons under the cut. If you follow me and have no idea what I'm talking about and like nerd shit and getting your feelings hurt, you should listen to Dungeons and Daddies podcast.

Season 1 is what they needed to hear in that moment from their dads. "You're gonna be okay, we're going to survive this. Things are going to change now, but we're going to be alright."

Not only that, but Alright also feels like how much the kids had to close off from the dads to also keep up the façade that everything was fine.

Season 2 is all that trauma, that connection between the 5 of them that no one else is going to understand because of Code Purple and just the general insanity.

But also... It's about how they do not care what its going to cost them to protect their own kids. They would all see the world burn if it meant they'd be okay. "On My Way" is so fucking lazar focused on their goal, they don't see any other way out of where they are between the seasons. They're not kids anymore, they hadn't been for so long. Especially Lark and Grant. No one in that group wants to face head-on what they've experienced and instead chose to try to fight what they already knew was an unwinnable battle.

I ache for these babies... omg TT~TT

I'm sure others have already talked about this, I am so late to interacting with this fandom but I have so many thoughts on this.
