MEDUSA | STYGIOMEDUSA GIGANTEA

A towering presence in the dark, not many know who Medusa is. For all that most Admirabilis know, there are a few people taking care of all the bodies that haven't been buried yet. Those who know of Medusa though, they see a gentle soul who simply wishes to respect those long gone.

As another deep sea inhabitant, she is fairly aware of those who also roam the deep ocean, but prefers to help them in her own way. Though one noble, Clione, constantly sways her off of her path, while Medusa doesn't even notice their bad intentions...

Итак, мы в предпоследний раз возвращаемся к теме адмирабилис, и снова я собралась написать что-то вроде "ну, в этот раз мне нечего рассказывать". Что ж... Постоянство - признак мастерства, что тут скажешь.

Фантазия на выбор имён (ровно как и необходимый энтузиазм) покинула меня ещё в тот раз, так что я окончательно перешла на простое заимствование названий биологической классификации морских существ. В любом случае, сегодня я выбрала имя Гимносомата (Gymnosomata). Вспоминая вопрос полового диморфизма адмирабилис из прошлого поста, я решила просто по приколу отойти от канона и основать её дизайн не на кальмарах и осьминогах, а на других моллюсках - северных клионах (они же морские ангелы). Есть что-то забавное в том, что в итоге персонаж получился как бы перевёрнутым вверх тормашками (?) в силу того, что её рабочие щупальца расположены на голове, а у остальных - ближе к нижней половине тела. Кстати, мне кажется, что её одежда (хотя строго говоря, это скорее часть тела, согласно канону, но не будем углубляться) получилась наиболее похожей на "наряды" персонажей из манги. Надеюсь, это не значит, что она вторична или типа того..

А ещё я всё никак не могу решить, стоит ли отправить эти рисунки в предложку фан-группы по Стране Самоцветов: с одной стороны, вроде охота поделиться творчеством (особенно учитывая, насколько мало фанатских персонажей-адмирабилис по сравнению с персонажами-самоцветами), а с другой, я вообще не уверена, достаточен ли мой уровень рисования для того, чтобы пробовать публиковаться в крупных пабликах. 

Короче, всё сложно
