There was something about the changes made to the conversation that happens after the final battle that just made me laugh. Roisia 1) sleeps like the dead and 2) is the sort of sleeper who would cocoon herself in her own duvet, so not only would Astarion have to purposefully wake Roisia to have the conversation he wants to have, but, on top of that, all he would have to gaze adoringly upon would be a lump of duvet and a slip of bonnet. And Roisia is not the sort of person to gaze lovingly back at anyone when she awakes, no matter how beloved that person might be.
I recently rescued Duke Ravenguard and oh boy, when he starts yelling at Wyll, I instantly hated the man. Like okay, you think your son sold his soul for power. But he just saved your sorry ass from being fish food! Furthermore, you can't tell me that he didn't hear stories about a warrior that sounds an awful lot like his dramatic son hunting monsters and saving people from his informants at some point!
Duke Ravenguard: *Yelling at Wyll*
Tav: Why did we save him again?
Astarion: Because we're "heroes" that's at least what you told me.
Tav:Can you...just, non-fatally, stab him?
Astarion: I'm not allowed to stab people in camp remember?
*Later*
Tav: Wyll, there is a choice you must make about your father.
Wyll: But, I already spoke with Mizora.
Tav: No, I kicked Duke Ravenguard out, who do you want for your new father, Halsin or Gale?
The fact that I can't hug Shadowheart during her ending quest cut scene is criminal.
I don't mean me as Tav.
The fact that I, the player weilding the mouse, cannot pull my precious baby half elf out of my computer and hug her while she sobs is a crime against nature.
She's been through so much, and she deserves better. (Give me the option Larian!)
Wyll was freed from his pact. But now Karlach is talking like he had given away his soul? I don't think this happened in my other playthrough, seems to be another smaller bug with the dialogue tree.
The in-game implication though. A perception or Insight fail? Karlach, please. I think you misunderstood what just happened. We broke the pact. Wyll is mourning the potential loss of his father.
All of this reminds me of those good old times where Gale judged me for making a deal with Raphael - which I never did. Classic Act III.
had a dream (a prophetic one, hopefully) that Beyonce dropped Act III out of nowhere like a week after Cowboy Carter and it was in fact a rock album with like 30 tracks that featured Alanis Morisette, Rina Sawayama, and Weezer and then I turned the news on and the top story that night was that Freddie Mercury resurrected from the grave to buy Act III concert tickets and i think it's probable tbh
