Neue AMD- und Intel-Prozessoren 2022
Die CPU ist das Herzstück des Desktop-PCs oder Notebooks. Als zentrale Rechen- und Steuerungseinheit ist sie für alle wichtigen Aufgaben des Rechners mitverantwortlich. Damit der Prozessor dabei stets auf dem neuesten Stand bleibt, veröffentlichen die wichtigsten Hersteller, namentlich AMD und Intel, regelmäßig neue Produktlinien und Modelle, die sich den verschiedenen Anforderungen der Nutzerinnen und Nutzer anpassen. Dabei sind die Hersteller jedoch oft nicht für eine besonders übersichtliche Produktpalette bekannt. In der Vielzahl von Produkten können besonders weniger erfahrene Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten schnell die Übersicht verlieren. Damit Sie stets auf dem neuesten Stand bleiben, welche Prozessoren die beiden Hersteller für das laufende Jahr und darüber hinaus geplant haben, bieten wir Ihnen auf den Folgeseiten eine übersichtliche und aktuelle Liste über neue CPU-Serien und bekannte Details und Modelle. Wenn Sie an bereits erschienenen Prozessoren interessiert sind, möchten wir Ihnen an dieser Stelle alternativ unsere CPU-Kaufberatung an die Hand geben. Diese enthält neben einem Vergleich von Intel- und AMD-CPUs außerdem eine umfangreiche Erklärung von Begriffen und Features. CPU-Vorschau 2022: Welche Prozessoren listen wir? Wir konzentrieren uns in unserem Überblick auf die CPUs, die sich an Endverbrauchende richten, also vornehmlich Desktop- und Notebook-Prozessoren sowie sogenannte HEDT-Produkte ("High End Desktop") für professionelle Anwendungen. Modelle wie Intel Xeon, die in Serverarchitekturen zum Einsatz kommen, lassen wir außen vor. Des Weiteren sind über kostengünstige Einstiegsmodelle im Voraus meist nur wenige Informationen bekannt. Daher liegt der Fokus unserer Vorschau eher auf Mittel- und Oberklasse-Modellen, weshalb AMDs Athlon- und Intels Atom-, Celeron- und Pentium-CPUs meist ebenfalls wegfallen. AMD und Intel: Geplante CPU-Modelle Sowohl AMD als auch Intel haben mehrere neue Prozessoren in Planung, die 2022 erscheinen sollen. Dabei erweitern beide Hersteller ihr Portfolio um Desktop- wie auch um Notebook-Prozessoren. Intel rollte zum Jahresbeginn weitere Alder-Lake-Modelle aus, darunter die Non-K-Modelle von Core i3 bis Core i9. Außerdem erscheint Alder Lake auch als mobile Variante für Notebooks. In der zweiten Jahreshälfte rechnen wir dann mit dem Release der 13. Generation unter dem Codenamen Raptor Lake. Damit wird Alder Lake bereits abgelöst. Auch neue HEDT-Modelle unter dem Namen Sapphire Rapids sollen zu diesem Zeitpunkt erscheinen. Bei AMD sieht die Sache etwas komplexer aus. Zum Jahresbeginn startete man mit mobilen Ryzen-6000-Modellen sowie dem 5000er-Refresh 5000X3D für Desktop. Die Desktop-Modelle tragen dabei den Decknamen Warhol, die Modelle für Notebooks bezeichnet man als Rembrandt. Außerdem scheint man in der ersten Jahreshälfte eine Neuauflage der Ryzen-4000-APUs unter der Bezeichnung Renoir-X zu planen. Später im Jahr könnten sich Premium-APUs mit dem Titel Van Gogh dazugesellen, allerdings gibt es auch Gerüchte über eine Einstellung der Serie. Ebenfalls irgendwann 2022 erscheinen sollen die Ryzen 5000 Threadripper-Modelle für HEDT und die mobilen Ryzen 5000U-Prozessoren Barcelo. Zum Jahresende plant man dann den großen Aufschlag mit Ryzen 7000. Dabei sollen die Serien Raphael für Desktop und Raphael-H und Phoenix für Notebooks starten. Außerdem plant man mit Ryzen 7000 Dragon Crest neue APUs. Apple & Google: Warum wir die Hersteller trotz M1 und Co. nicht listen Mit dem M1 hat das amerikanische Unternehmen im vergangenen Jahr ein eigenes SoC (System-on-a-Chip) vorgestellt, das einen eigenen Prozessor integriert und unter anderem in verschiedenen Macbook-Modellen zum Einsatz kommt. Ende 2021 folgte außerdem M1 Pro und M1 Max. Außerdem sollen bereits 2022 und 2023 die Nachfolgemodelle M2, M2 Pro und M2 Max erscheinen, wie "MacRumors" berichtet. Da Apples Chip jedoch zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt nur in hauseigenen Produkten zum Einsatz kommt, haben wir uns gegen ein Einbinden von Apple in unserer Übersicht entschieden. Je nachdem, wie sich Produkte und Vertriebspolitik des Unternehmens ändern, werden wir unsere Entscheidung zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt gegebenenfalls anpassen. Hier betrachten wir gespannt die Entwicklung weiterer Chips nach M1 und M1 Pro. Aus dem gleichen Grund lassen wir aktuell auch die hauseigene Produktion von Google außen vor. Der Konzern soll Gerüchten zufolge an eigenen Prozessoren für seine Chromebooks arbeiten. Diese sollen ab 2023 zum Einsatz kommen. Wie auch bei Apple halten wir uns eine spätere Aufnahme offen, sollte der Hersteller seine Produktpalette erweitern und auch Endnutzenden zugänglich machen.
