Had some cash to burn so I decided to upgrade my GPU from a 2080 super to a RTX 4090 and my CPU from a i7-9700k to a i9-13900k. Playing Helldivers 2 at max settings with 100+ FPS is incredible.

OpenGL & Vulkan are like Portal & Portal 2

OpenGL = Portal Vulkan = Portal 2

Both are made by the same people, have the same motivations, are made in the same language. Experiencing the former is a good experience. However, experiencing the latter is a whole other dimension of interesting. OpenGL is fun to learn, and Portal is fun to play. But I’ve decided to start using Vulkan, and god damn, there’s a lot. You have to enumerate through and interface with devices, you have to create debug messengers, validation layers, buffers, arrays, etc.. Portal 2 gave me that same feeling. (Spoilers for Portal 2): [Falling down into Test Shaft 09 was the moment I realized this game is a lot deeper than I thought. You have to manage repulsion and propulsion gels, tractor beams, faith plates, lasers, and more.] Once you use OpenGL/play Portal, you start to get good at it and can crank out a playthrough/project in a few hours. With Vulkan/Portal 2, it takes a hell of a lot more dedication, but by god its worth it.

Planning on building a mid range pc!!

Bought a 3060ti eagle oc on retail a few months ago...

(stress tested it at a friend's place and saw that it's emitting way too much heat than it's supposed to- whoops)

I'm giving it a good thorough cleaning and changing its dried up thermal paste and thermal pads before I start building the actual pc tower! (the fan cable was so difficult to unplug, I was really worried about breaking it aaaaa-)

Aaaand the end result! Hope it won't go over 92°C like last time! :')

Por indicação do amigo Nilson Souza (a quem muito agradeço) é que fui ler o Summa Daemoniaca (título em latim que se traduz como Suma de questões relativas ao demônio), o tratado de demonologia e manual de exorcistas escrito pelo padre exorcista José Antonio Fortea Cucurull, nascido em Barbastro, nordeste de Espanha, em 11 de outubro de 1968. A edição em português que Nilson me presentou foi a da editora Palavra & Prece (São Paulo, 2010).

Falar sobre o livro não acrescerá muito, e o melhor mesmo é que ele seja lido diretamente, sem intermediários.

De qualquer forma, para os que jamais irão ler por falta de tempo ou outras preferências, escrevi uma matéria a respeito que foi publicada na última edição do boletim UFO-Informe editado pelo meu amigo Alexandre Calandra do GPU, que você pode continuar a lê-la abaixo:
