Purchasing a new laptop is fucking stupid. Go buy a ThinkPad T430 from some random eBay seller and install Arch Linux on it like the trans catgirl that you are.

🇺🇲 Explore the fascinating journey of the iconic ThinkPad! Originally introduced by IBM in 1992, the ThinkPad quickly became synonymous with innovation, reliability, and cutting-edge technology.
💼 Designed for professionals on the go, the ThinkPad's signature black design, red TrackPoint, and durable build set it apart from the competition. ThinkPad was initially developed by a team led by Arimasa Naitoh, who drew inspiration from the traditional Japanese bento box for its design.
💻 Over the years, the ThinkPad underwent several transformations, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of technology. From the classic clamshell design to convertible tablets and ultrabooks, each iteration pushed the boundaries of what a laptop could achieve. The butterfly keyboard introduced on the ThinkPad 701C in 1995 was named one of the "25 Greatest PCs of All Time" by PC World.
🚀 Since the early 2000s, ThinkPads have been a trusted companion for astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS). ThinkPads have been instrumental in assisting astronauts with various tasks onboard the ISS, including data analysis, communication with mission control, and conducting scientific experiments.
💾 Despite changing hands from IBM to Lenovo in 2005, the ThinkPad's commitment to quality and innovation remained unwavering. Under Lenovo's stewardship, it continued to thrive, evolving with the times while staying true to its heritage. The iconic red TrackPoint remains a staple feature across generations, beloved by users for its precision and ease of use.
🌟 Today, the ThinkPad remains a symbol of excellence in the world of computing, beloved by professionals and enthusiasts alike for its reliability, performance, and timeless design. From business executives to tech enthusiasts, it became the go-to choice for anyone seeking performance and versatility.

I was stuck doing everything on my phone for a month, which wasn't too much of a hassle, but I prefer using my laptop to cover new episodes. Glad it's back and able to connect again. 💕
Alright! Back on my old, reliable beast of a laptop. (It was having some sort of connectivity issues and wouldn't connect to the new network we had it on when we switched providers, but we ended up getting some other kind of router that it could pair with.)
I was kinda wondering if it just gave up the ghost since it's had connectivity issues and would often lose the signal, even on our old network. (I've had this laptop since late-2015, so certain issues are bound to pop up sometimes. I'm surprised it's still kicking, in all honesty.)

No “On This Day” posting for today.
Back in Feb. 15th, 2024; the same date where my Filipino pal unveiled his new item upgrades for his custom pc to get it fixed. (Hopefully)
What he may not know til now is I’d also got myself this latest item, but mostly to store my things like pencils and sketchbooks. This here’s my new branded backpack that my mother bought from Amazon.com, but originally supposed to come out on Friday. Nevertheless, I’m very glad of waiting to get this backpack at the right time needed.
Plus it supports carrying laptops or any other devices/items I can bring just one. Though again, I only got with some tablets for digital coloring or watching videos; etc.
But hey, it was still looks good after taking some photos. Nice design as well that it fits around to my arms. 👍 I’ll make sure to take care from my previous bags that are lost or still in there.
Hope you enjoy what I’d got today. Here’s the link where I’d shown this to my mother before ordered already. Its discount now is less than $22.00 or more. ⬇️

Nothing makes me want to commit arson more than my computer suddenly, without warning, starting an update and wiping all my tabs and projects that don’t autosave. Especially when I explicitly clicked “NO” when it asked me if I wanted it.

I still am convinced that I used my old tablet more (or at least searched things up/did more things with it). It's hard to explain why. Maybe because I had it for so long that I grew attached to it. I don't really know. What I do know is it's hard to prove that I actually did use it more without trying it and then comparing to my new tablet. And I can't do that without turning on the old tablet and using it, which risks killing it's battery (which is something I don't know if I could handle).
It's also stressful because I know I probably couldn't find/buy the old tablet again, because it's such an old model (a 2016 Lenovo, If I remember correctly). And I still don't know how to transfer all my bookmarks and search history and apps and stuff to a new tablet, which is very stressful.

does anyone have a solution to your laptop randomly deciding it has 0% battery and Will Die If You Don't Charge It Right This Instance, even if it was charged right before? sometimes it fixes itself instantly other times i need to have it plugged to a charger for a month.
half a year ago lenovo people came and changed the battery and that fixed it then, but now it's back. is there another solution that doesn't require me to try to deal with customer support and "your battery warranty isn't valid anymore"?

🌸 Love the life you live 🌸
Spending as much time outside as I can, getting the fresh air and sunlight for as long as the weather lets me 🌞 (it’s still surprisingly warm here as for autumn)
