I’m gonna share my Dorcas hcs (how I view her) also sorry I know this is too long :(

I’m gonna be honest, I like to think she was older than the Marauders. They weren’t together in school (maybe they were for a while but Dorcas was already a 5th/6th/7th year so they never talked). I think her being in school with them is kinda overwhelming because it’s too many people😭 like Lily, Alice (I gave her a personality💀), Mary, Marlene and Emmeline being the Hogwarts girls is already enough for me, because it’s already hard to give all of them attention, so imagine with Dorcas in it too :( So yeah for me they met in the Order and all of them really looked up to her because she was super skilled and smart

About her personality (the main thing here lol) I think she’s like pretty sarcastic but also sweet? I think she’s a lot like Carol Danvers. Intimidating at first but when you meet her super sweet, cool and fun to be around? She was definitely a party girl and loved dogs. I think that she never desired marriage or kids especially because of the war, but you know… Dorlene… I imagine her and Marlene’s relationship to be like Remus and Tonks’. They talked during Order missions, fell in love in the missions… I think Dorcas was afraid to date her at first because of the war and all. But then they got together☝️

I think she really liked to use dresses, paint her nails etc even though her personality can be considered kinda “masculine”. I still haven’t decided what her favorite color would be though give me some ideas😔

About her appearance, she had very dark skin, and I love the hc that she had vitiligo :) about her hair I think she had braids

now that i think ab it i can see dorcas being a bit older, but i’d think only like a year or two difference. but yeah i feel like she was similar to remus in some ways. i see her as being the quiet type but also v intimidating even tho she’d be a rlly great friend, but she was a bit closed off and was particular ab her friends.

me and my friend talked ab how we think her mom used/taught dorcas wandless magic, so her mom didn’t go to hogwarts. i see them as being the equivalent to our modern day like spiritual, witchy people??? idk the term LMFAO. also i think dorcas saw through dumbledores bullshit and never trusted him, neither did her mom, but she obviously couldn’t say anything like that

anyways, yes omg she reminds me or carol too!! and i think marlene also had a fat crush on her but thought the feelings weren’t reciprocated for a while bc dorcas was so closed off and unreadable (that just being her personality)

yes yes i can def see her marlene and the rest of the girls just hanging out in her room and painting each others nails and shit :))
