Five fics under 500

Okay, so, I read a little too much fanfiction, this isn't even a comprehensive list of the amount of options I have but these are some of my favourites.

1. Terrible Things - @ssmtskw (T | 4k | One-Shot) Hanahaki AU, Hurt/ No Comfort, A truly clever way of formatting a story that uses a non-linear timeline. Also just read every single of Trace's fics, they are so good. 2. How well you play... that's up to you- @happiness-of-the-pursuit (M | 4.3k | One-Shot) Grey's Inspired AU, my best advice is to just experience it, I won't tell you anything else because you need to see it for yourself. 3. All of these Minor Feelings, are Majorly Breaking Me Down - ACDs_Coffee (M | 2k | One- Shot) A story that centers around Rafael Luna, following he announcemt of the Richard's campaign, it's heavy and it's truly wonderful. 4. praying our bridges don't make waves - @anincompletelist (E | 82k | Finished Multichap) A Soulmate AU with Fake Dating that I could not put down, once I started I was so trapped I read this whole thing in one day. 5. The Anatomy of a Big Sister - politics_and_prose (T | 7.3K | One- Shot) A journey through Alex's relationship with Henry in June's eyes, it's truly one of my favourite ones.

The scrape of a chair pulls his attention away from his phone and Alex feels his mouth go dry. The man hovering uncertainly next to the table is fucking tall, taller than anyone else tonight, with broad shoulders and a jaw that he wants to get his mouth on. But it’s the man’s eyes that really hold his gaze: the color a sharp, bright blue that reminds him of a summer’s day at the lake house. “Er, hello. I just wanted to check that you were part of the speed dating event and I wasn’t about to impose on a random stranger.” The soft accent intrigues him immediately and Alex hurriedly swallows and gestures for him to sit, recovering at least part of his cool. “It’s speed dating. Imposing on random strangers is sort of the point, right?” The small laugh he lets out makes Alex want to pull another one out of him by any means necessary. “I suppose I should say I didn’t want to insert myself into someone’s evening who hadn’t signed up for this event.” “I can’t imagine anyone turning down the opportunity for you to insert yourself, to be honest,” Alex says with a silly eyebrow waggle. The almost-definitely-mortified blush that creeps across the man’s cheekbones pulls a grin across his own face. “But I am here for the speed dating event, yes. Super glad about that right now actually.” “Moving past the accidental innuendo—” “I’ll allow it.” “—I’m Henry,” he says, reaching across the table, hand outstretched. Alex takes it and almost gasps at the tingle that runs through him at the contact.
