Thinking about my TMA au and some concept thoughts I have:

The entities have always existed in this AU, then slowly creeping to the server and affecting it in numerous ways

Cala, Dream, and Techno we’re friends since childhood. They all met after they encountered one of these entities and they all stuck close ever since.

As they grew up they all still were very close, even as they had new friend groups (Dream with George and Sapnap, Techno with Philza, and Cala with Fundy).

However something… happened when Cala was 21 that she doesn’t remember. But it resulted in everyone acting more different than usual. That and Dream was missing.

When she asked around they tell her that Dream never existed and they have no idea what she’s talking about.

When she asks Techno he says the same thing but she knows that he’s holding back what he really wants to say, and it leads her to believe something more serious is going on.

She is marked by the Web, and doesn’t realize it at all. However she trusts no one in the server since they’re either hiding something or are trying to trick her.

Techno is marked by The Hunt after what had happened a few years back— and it nearly cost his life. But he’s a hunter and stops at nothing to make sure his friends are safe, especially after he failed Dream.

Dream is locked in Pandora’s Vault which is one of the manifestations of the Lonely, presumed dead by the Incident that happened but just being a victim of numerous entities.

Sam is afflicted by the Spiral while Quackity is afflicted by the Flesh, and they both decided to keep Dream trapped here for their own selfish reasons.

This AU is Cala slowly figuring out what she doesn’t remember and figuring out if Dream actually was real, and trying to get her old friend group back.

AO3aversary!

Yesterday, Jan 12, was my 6 year AO3aversary! I usually take note of it the day of, but I'm a day late this year xD

I'm excited to have written TF fic for 6 years now!

My AO3 total is 611,342 posted words, which is an average of about 100,000 a year! That's a novel a year! I have some ahhhh feelings about my posting schedule and what I am able to accomplish with limited energy, but realizing 100k/year on average made me feel really good! Heck, that is a lot of work! I'm proud 😄

If anyone's interested in my fic writing journey, here's an abbreviated timeline:

-circa 1994/5: first memory of writing what one would consider fanfic, my own Star Trek crew, entirely OCs

-late 90's: I read a lot of Beast Wars fics and wrote a few stories

-early 2000's: JTHM and Invader Zim stuff

-early to mid 2000's: the first fandom that I interacted with in a more 'modern' sense. by that I mean I made fandom friends, wrote a lot, talked about fan stuff on LJ, etc etc. the fandom will remain undisclosed but I had a BLAST and am very very lucky to still be in contact with a good friend from that period (you know who you are, hehe). I still love that franchise. my fics were received well (never had a flame on ff.net, that's some kind of accomplishment, right? lol) and I had quite a few readers, especially considering I only wrote gen fics (in the shipping sense. they went up in rating for violence). I wrote about 200,000 words for this fandom. as of now, the franchise has a small, active fandom on AO3 but I haven't delved into it. I'm pretty sure the fans' interpretations of characters have evolved over the years and since I haven't kept up, my ideas may seem out of date or sorely overdone, etc etc. I'm happy to let that part of my writing career live in memory only and don't plan to return :)

-2015 read MTMTE and got sucked back into TF

-2018 joined AO3 and started writing TF fic again :)

It's Sunday. He's...here. Here being V tower for lack of idea where else to be.

He's realized he never said where to meet. Mmmboi. He'd just have to assume the other Lucifer would find him at the designated time. He didn't know where they lived. Vox had been the one to get him his 'passport'.

Took a deep breath with Duncan's lungs and made himself relax. Being nervous wasn't going to do anything. He wasn't supposed to be nervous anyway! Enough of that. His hands patted onto knees as he tipped his head back onto the back of the couch. Eying the ceiling.

Nothing changes if he likes you or not.

"Heh." Yet again reminded he'd gone soft in the last decade. He did not give a wit in the past. A groan escaped as he pulled himself forward into putting head in a hand so he could rub at his own scalp. Messing up his own hair. He could fix it with a pocket comb in a minute. Whenever the other showed up.

He'd go looking for Luci if he didn't show up soonish. As a backup plan.
