ShinoKCR Art Deco Dining - 4t3 conversion

(the new one, not the one that already has a TS3 version)

Was searching for new Buy Mode to convert, then I remembered there was still some ShinoKCR I wanted to convert :P And I like her Art deco stuff because it's way closer to 1920s-1930s than most TS4 stuff. Don't get me wrong, Neo Deco is amazing, but sometimes you want the period stuff! Took a while because almost all the multipliers in this set were re-baked - only the ceiling lamp, the place set and the dog sculpture aren't - because ShinoKCR loved to add legit TS3 patterns on her stuff and I was matching swatches with her older TS3 stuff :x But on the other hand that means that all the pretty colorful details in the crockery ARE ON THE MASK.

Which means you can recolor them to a plain version without multiplier noise/shading 8DDDD

Only the dog sculpture and the flowers aren't recolorable, all the rest have 2-4 channels.

Flowers are around 1.6k because I had to double-side the mesh, the chair is around 1.3k, all the rest is lower.

Place set comes with the glass and silverware, doesn't occupy a slot in the dining table but has a deco slot. Plate and saucer also have one slot each.

The ceiling lamp is medium height ONLY - there IS a short one, but it comes with the TS4 version of the study and I need to check which objects are redundant with the TS3 version to avoid duplicates. It's definitely on my plans though :x

Omigosh ! Shame on me, I've only just noticed that you've done a written version of your comic. Or, at least, extra scenes and the sequel after Donnie becomes himself again.

I've read the first two parts with Raph looking after the recovering Donnie. How can I express my appreciation and admiration for your work? Your drawing style is amazing but your writing style is so descriptive and emotional. I can feel the brotherly love between the turtles, Splinter's love for his children.

Awwwww I’m so glad you enjoy it XDD Honestly comments are enough for me. My receiving love language is totally words of affirmation, so really, just comments pointing out one thing you liked is enough to give me a hit of happy chemicals for a whole hour or more XDD So euguuuuhhh ;V; Thank youuuuuuu omg, I’ve never really had my writing being complimented so much and have always felt like it was rather…scattered and subpar compared to “the good stuff” that makes people notice. Leo and Donnie being twins is one of my favorite fan headcanons I’ve adopted and looove to play with. But I also just love the dynamics between the entire family, so I end up bouncing around and none of the dous grab my attention permanently. That being said, I do have another Leo and Donnie section planned, as well as Raph and Mikey, Donnie and Mikey, and Carol in there too. XDD

As for the title XDD huuuu that’s a bit hard to explain. Mostly Better Genes is because the concept of double mutated Donnie was ripped from three TMNT 2003 episodes titled “Adventures in Turtle Sitting”, and “Good Genes” part 1 and 2. So I wanted people to know that I was referencing to those episodes, but didn’t want to have my stuff come up when searching those episodes. So I switched Good for Better XDD

But, I also went with Better Genes because it’s a more buried part of the story bit. The rottmnt boys were planned mutants, so it makes sense that they would be designed to have various ehhhhh plus points or whatever you call them. Enhanced strength, speed, etc. One of those that made sense to me was Draxum not wanting people to mess with his design, so I had the thought that Draxum made it so the boys’ genetics couldn’t be tampered with because their own genes would fight off anything that wasn’t part of the original design. 

These two sections kind of touch on that idea:

The reason Donnie was able to create a cure on his own within the vague time limit is because he wasn’t creating something brand new from scratch. His own immune system was trying to fight off the mutagen, it just was being overwhelmed. So he just isolated his own antibodies, and made more of them. And after that his own immune system was able to beat the mutagen, so he’s the one with the better genes X’D

Hey, you Beaches <3 ;) It's Meenah answering this shit today. ♻️Would you go back to or repeat your Homestuck experience if you could? Why or why not? HAHAHA man, with how many times we had to do that shit? Nah. I mean. There was my session, the beta session, and the fucking secret third session, all of which I was conscious during in some way, shape or form. There were great times, don't get me wrong, action. Adventure. Piracy, Great powers, world domination, fucking around. But all my dancestor fronds are here. I get to sea them whenever I fuckin want. I miss parts of SBURB (I loved Derse So Fucking much, guys, AHH i miss it), I miss being a troll, and I miss the feeling of doing something cosmically important. But like...it was a huge pain in the bass too. I dunno if I'd wanna go back, not when other options are just as likely and frankly....batter(witch) over all.

🤝Who were your closest friends? Does canon get this right or wrong? Pretty much everyfin. Canon basically makes it sound like my crew all hated eachother's guts. Couldn't be further from the truth. Like, yeah, they could be annoying. Most people can be. But they were my fronds. I was really close with Aranea (obvs), which Canon gets right, even if it fucks it up near the end there. I was also close with Cronus and Porrim, and Rufioh (he was my moirail UwU). Like, to a degree, I was close with all the Dancestors, but I was probably the closest to them. Once we met the others, I got really close with Vriska (canon once again shows it and fucks it near the end), Karkat (<333333333 grumpy asshole, ilu), and the humans. (i liked harassing them >;3).

All my fuckin' money, beaches >8DDDD. Nah, just kiddin. Honestly , it was probably my bracelets. The spikes were actually made from shark teeth, and were my lusus on Beforus' . She let me take them when they grew out, and I made them into somefin I could wear so I could carry some of her with me. Before Sburb, it was probably my trident, but after my lusus died,I became reel attached to reminders of her.
