Hey sorry about the first ask! That’s my mistake, this is where I put my birthday in for a little more context 😅 I didn’t change the date this time so hopefully this is right!
Thank you so much for your help 💕
Tumblr media
Hey again! If your birth info here is correct then the solar return is too. All you need to do is select “solar return chart*” under the chart type. Unless you will be in a different time zone than where you were born, then you will also need to select a new reference place. But I’ll go ahead with this interpretation, assuming the location is correct.
Sagittarius ascendant, so the chart ruler is Jupiter, which is conjunct Uranus in the 5th house! I love to see that because this building Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in general to me is ushering in some groundbreaking and even revolutionary changes in many areas with how people view and understand things! And to have it in the 5th house of your solar return is a blessing for you when it comes to exercising your self expression this year; maybe also your creativity and/or your ability to embrace and explore whatever fun things bring you passion! And those sextiles to Mars and Saturn in the 3rd house of communication further suggest to me that maybe you’ll find a little more ease to express yourself this year, and that it could be healing because Mars and Saturn are planets with things they need to get off their chest! 😆 It’s good to be consciously aware of sextiles though, because you might have to make a little effort with them to see the rewards!
Mercury retrograde is right on the IC, and there’s a whole lot of emphasis there with Chiron, the North Node, and Venus too. Whatever you mentally process and communicate this year should be very tied into your family and/or home. Especially as the Sun is also in the 4th. Once again, this all really points to healing, because Chiron with the North Node, and Mercury meeting up on multiple dates with them this Aries season because of the retrograde, is helping to usher that in for a lot of people. And Venus should bring some more love to the situation. There’s definitely dynamics you’re gonna face and heal with your family or the other 4th house subjects this year.
The Moon is in Leo on the cusp of the 7th/8th house so emotionally, you might be finding yourself wanting validation from others. Try to keep in mind that Leo ultimately gains its strength from self validation, and that how YOU feel about anything creative you might do this year with that beautiful Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in the 5th, is what matters.
There’s much emphasis this year on self expression, communication, and healing family/home/inner security stuff. Happy solar return! 🌞

End of the week special edition
SPNews
Tl/Dr: This week was certainly supernatural
And here is a recap of everything that I'm aware of
7th - 13th of November
Quick recap of the week has to be started by mentioning what happened last weekend as events of the first half of the week were direct result of those actions. On 5th of November (maybe date was coincidental, or may be that theh predicted bigger interest on that particular day) Misha posted announcement that main cast will make fundraising event via Internet, to gather money for Stacey Abrams' organisation (fighting against voter suppression). Around the same time tumblr's 2020 year in review was published, with destiel in its own category.
This week has started with people thinking what will happen, with supernatural briefly trending on tublr, because of people, and which submitted questions have any chance of being answered. Many speculated - are they gonna say something interesting, is destiel gonna be canon or uncanon? And at sunday/monday twitter showdown took place, that resulted in publication of Misha's nude picture - and that only fueled the anticipation.
On Monday Misha told that there will be spn trivia, bloopers and outtakes from season 15. The post was not something special, but was commented by Jensen Ackles, breaking his social media silence. Because of the lack of content fandom started interpreting the post on manny ways - while saying "There will be an open bar, right" - is he talking about the finale, or he can't even talk about finale without drinking, or will he be drunk and unfiltered? From that point on anticipation only rose, and two separate tags were trending on tumblr, as well as on twitter.
Tension rose higher and higher as the hour of the event was approaching. Misha commented on Sun-Maid raisin tweet, then Sun-Maid social media person started to answer some Hellers (and people thought that Sun-Maid were also a Heller). Then things got even wilder, as Misha posted on instagram about asking Jensen about his weird acting choices, and about answering on fans prying questions. People were posting relantlessly on tumblr and pushing spn way up high on trending list. That kind of traffic caused temporary local insenity, as someone posted "correct me if I'm wrong, but Misha said something about having secret tumblr account" and manny people ran with it, asking random accounts if they are Misha Collins - kind of smaller, reversed Mishapocalypse.
Then livestrema started - people were rather disappointed as event was rather uneventful and anticlimactic. There was many more people from the cast as expected Kripke, Collins, Ackles and Padalecki. Half of the time was spent on talking about politics with Stacey Abrams, which still was unexpected for few people. After that there were 3 spn trivia questions to the cast and to the fans. They talked about Herpexia, and how Jared gave Seb Roché very weird massage on the airport. Misha said as a joke that the fandom does not care about voters supressio, only about their answers, which is indeed true Activity of the fandom proves that they want answers. Cast did not discuss finale, did not answer any questions. 5 minutes of bloopers were played.
After that people were almost ready to move on, there rumours that someone who won one-on-one zoom convo with Jensen asked him if Dean is bi, and man allegedly said that yes, and bottom to boot. Didn't find source of that rumour. People were stating that in bloopers Jensen was making joke about bottoming. Many that still steyed shipping were inching closer to casually shipping Jenmish. Consensus was made that The Episode That Must Not Be Named simply did not happen. Heller Obama became Ex-Heller Obama by unfollowing twitter destiel stan
Thursday was uneventful, from perspective it was kind of calm before the storm. In evening hours Misha tweeted about Castiel Project on give.trevorproject.org praising fans for selflessness. There was 1000 dollars anonymous donations, and people were very sure that it was Misha who donated. In the morning of next day it turned out that it was very selfless (and probably wonderful person) moved by this act of good will. Stacey Abrams watched finale and praised it
On Friday stuff just... Kept happening. It started with Taylor Swift dropping surprise album "Evermore" that many fans interpreted as describing Dean's and Cas' relationship - Destiel posts were climbing to top positions in T Swift tag. Parallels were seen everywhere. Things got even more unhinged as the day passed. Scripts of confession scene of 15x18 were leaked. It was hard to determine authenticity of script. They were proven to be authentic and stolen by Adam Williams, spn's VFX coordinator.
Script didn't reveal any new revolutionary information. But it included cas' POV - "Still beautiful, still Dean Winchester" which hinted on Cas finding Dean also physically attractive. It included "pulls Dean close" as well, which again trigeret speculations if something was taken out, and general anger at big three: queercoding, queerbaiting and "kill your gays trope. Destiel was proclaimed canon for the 3rd time. Spn was trending yet again stopping at 4th place.
Adam Williams went on a twitter spree for more than 10 hours, making very gay-homophobic statements. He claimed among others that Dean is not bi, but Destiel is canon, but not in sexual way, but if Dean woul be bi, he would be a top BECAUSE he is an alpha, and that labels are unnecessary but Dean is streight. Whole cast and cw stayed silent about scripts and Williams' statements (it is worth remembering that he had no influence on a plot, so his statements regarding plot, no matter if stating that destiel is canon or saying that Dean is streight - are as valid as any other headcanon presented on tumblr)
In the meantime Jared published posts praising the finale
As soon as excitement and rage died down and supernatural stopped trending new informations came up. On Saturday evening a Facebook panel with LatAm voice actors took place. (As I do not speak Spanish I'm going to include 3rd and 4th hand information here). It is stated that LatAm dub director thought that Cas and Dean are clearly in love, thought that included in translated script (basically) "I too" was too vague for that relationship and hanged it. There is no consensus on if tape that they got had any other English audio (at least I did not find anything that I can trust 100% yet) so it is best to assume that they've got the version that we've seen. Whole crew just went on with it, thinking that it all makes sense. As they (especial the director) were on board with that version destiel was again proclaimed canon. As I was finishing writing that there were attempts to contact the director, and spn was still trending. People are hating on Misha "for lying" which they should not do, given that only him was ready to listen to them
The End has no End
Fandom, as well as the show just won't die, which is in of itself very supernatural of us
They probably never will be done, and there will never be peace
If there'll be new updates I'm gonna keep the tabs
Good night

LIVEBLOG ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey guys. So as many of you are aware, for the past week my family’s had a GoFundMe campaign set up to raise money to replace our broken boiler.
I’ve gone around asking people for help by asking them to retweet, reblog, and share the link to the campaign. My brother’s done similar with their friends. Some of the people I’ve asked have even donated.
Well because of the coronavirus my days at the store are down from 4 to 3, the soccer matches I was supposed to work at were suspended, baseball season’s been delayed 2 weeks, and I have no idea when the census is getting back to me.
Since I have Tuesdays and Thursdays free alongside weekends, I’m gonna to start doing liveblog sessions with the hopes of raising extra money via tips on ko-fi or donations to the campaign directly.
Here’s what I’m considering liveblogging:
SAILOR MOON SEASON ONE: I have the first DVD collection released by Viz of the new English dub, but will be liveblogging the original sub starting at the first episode.
REVOLUTIONARY GIRL UTENA: I already liveblogged the dub of the first episode a couple of years ago, but will restart and do a second liveblog covering it again without rushing and with doing proper tags.
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 1984: The original Freddy Krueger movie. I might get more attention for this if I ask some of my horror friends on Twitter to help signal boost.
THE GOLDEN GIRLS: I only own the last season on DVD but would like to try doing a liveblog or two of some of my favorite episodes such as “The Curse of the Libertine Belle.”
3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN: I own all the seasons on DVD and don’t really talk about this show as much. Will figure out which episodes I may liveblog if I’m not gonna start at the beginning.
SPIDER-MAN THE NEW ANIMATED SERIES: The often forgotten 2000s CGI animated Spider-Man cartoon featuring Neil Patrick Harris voicing Peter Parker. This is a minor favorite of mine that I don’t really talk about as much.
MYSTIC KNIGHTS OF TIR NA NOG: This is a HARD MAYBE, as I’ve recently become interested in Saban’s attempt at an original TV show that didn’t repurpose old footage from Super Sentai. Will need to find the episodes on Youtube.
Reblogs and opinions are appreciated to see what you guys would be interested in seeing me doing.

Have you ever played golf?: Nah but I'm kinda interested in learning it just because it’s a rich person thing lmao. But to be honest, golf was the most boring sport in Wii Sports :/
Is there a lake near your house?: Nope. I live in a city, so not a lot of bodies of water around. The nearest lake that I know, the Taal, is around two hours away.
What was the last tv show you watched an episode of?: OMG guys Gabie introduced me to Jeopardy last Monday and I AM HOOKED. Like properly hooked. We were figuring out what to watch on Netflix but we couldn’t pick anything until she just settled on Jeopardy, which I have never seen an episode of before. I protested at first cos I thought it was gonna be boring, but man oh man the elation you get when you get an answer right is the best feeling ever HAHA. Plus it’s so wholesome – the contestants are all nice to each other, there are many bonuses that let everyone catch up, and the host is just so so sweet.
Do you like beer? If so, what’s your favorite brand?: Nah dude, I hate beer.
What color is your favorite fruit?: I don’t have one.
How often do you update your Facebook status?: Barely; I mostly share posts. The only time I ever post my own content is when I change my profile picture, because Facebook makes that announcement public whether you like it or not lol. Another instance, but this time way more seldom, is when I’d post mini photo albums of loved ones for their birthdays, like for Angela or my sister.
When was the last time you went to the supermarket?: September, I think? I was on my way home from a workshop when my parents asked me to stop by the grocery to pick up a tub of ice cream cos they were craving for rocky road.
Have you ever been pulled over for speeding?: No, speeding isn’t really a big deal here; kinda makes sense considering our roads are quite small and clogged and standstill traffic takes up most of a Filipino’s daily life, making it impossible to speed unless you’re on some remote expressway.
What was the last thing you ate?: I microwaved leftover pasta from a few days ago. I might eat a doughnut soon, though.
Do you feel bad when you throw food out?: Not if it’s already expired. Otherwise I never ever ever throw food out. Poverty and malnutrition are serious issues in my country and I always either finish my food or ask for my leftovers to be packaged for takeout.
What do you think about the new Apple Watch?: I honestly don’t stay updated about the Apple Watch line cause imo they all look the same, but in general it would be nice to have one.
Have you ever been on a log flume ride?: I rode the one in Enchanted Kingdom when I was 3. I don’t think I’ve been on another one ever since.
Are you religious? What do you believe in?: Nope.
What’s your favorite thing about the weekend?: I can stop working and no one can blame me for it because it’s the fuckin’ weekend.
How often do you go to the drive-thru?: Oh my, like never. I get anxiety over potentially not understanding what the server asks or tells me, because typically they just talk over a speaker so the sound gets kinda muffled. I don’t want to go through having to ask “What was that, sorry?” five times so when I order something I usually just park and fall in line inside.
Do you know anyone who lived through a natural disaster?: Almost every Filipino I know, I guess? We’re a small country and we experience severe typhoons every year.
How do you feel right now?: [continued from last night, so the timeframe in these answers may be a little weird] I’m just fine. I’m craving Yabu so bad rn, but because I lost my (very pricy) water bottle I have to deal with the consequences and be stricter with my budget so that I can both buy a new one and at the same time save for Christmas money. That means cutting down on convenient expenses way way way more. GRRR WHY DO I LOSE ALL MY STUFF
Have you ever tried to make risotto?: I haven’t tried but my dad makes them amazingly.
What does your favorite perfume/cologne smell like?: I only ever use Heat Rush by Beyoncé haha.
How many brothers/sisters do you have?: I have one sister and one brother. <- Same.
When was the last time you waxed anything on your body, if ever?: I’ve never tried waxing because I’m afraid of it hurting. I’ve always resorted to shaving.
Have you ever broken a window, intentionally or not?: I don’t remember ever doing so.
Have you ever made your own pizza or pasta dough?: We’ve made pizza dough in the past because part of our home ec projects was to make some kind of pizza from scratch.
What’s your favorite fast food place?: Jollibee or KFC.
When was the last time you went out for a meal?: It’s been AGES. It’s been very busy recently so the last one was my date with Gab two weekends ago.
Can you sing?: I sing, but I’m not any good.
Do you wear a watch?: Nope.
Have you ever watched an entire season of a tv show in one day? LMAO yes. I think I’ve done this with Friends, Breaking Bad, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
What did you have for dinner tonight (or last night)?: I have no clue, but I’m starving. I know my mom is bringing home food so I may wait for that.
Would you ever consider getting plastic surgery? What would you have done?: I don’t think so. I always say I want to get bigger boobs but I think I’d just feel artificial if I went through with it, plus I’m slowly feeling happier with my chest so it’s probs an ultimate pass for me. Have you used the app Yik Yak?: No but I used to enjoy the hilarious entries on it on like BuzzFeed listicles. I never understood how it worked, though.
Do you like shrimp?: Shrimp is fine but it’s my least favorite seafood.
Tell me three of your favorite movies.: Two for the Road and Revolutionary Road (wow I like roads) have always been my top 2, but I never actually decided on a 3rd placer. I’d probably give it to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Are you lactose intolerant?: A bit, yep. I occasionally have severe reactions but most times either my stomach will hurt a little or I’ll just need to go to the toilet shortly after consuming milk.
What color shirt are you wearing right now?: Olive green.
Do you know how to play poker?: Nope.
Who is your favorite superhero?: I really don’t care for super heroes. Not my thing. <- Me.

June Jaunts 2020
Tumblr media
Above Photo: New York Public Library, June 2020
Can someone just hit me in the face hard enough so that I wake up in 2021? As a favour to me? (Also I love that we’re all assuming that a new year means a completely fresh new slate and that none of the actions taken this year will affect the rest of our lives? It’s ridiculous, but it’s a type of logic that I can absolutely get on board with.) In any case, life is hell right now. Here’s what went on in hell this month.
I found a new streaming site for movies that is incredible.
My brother Gary made another gravy video (this time a Swiss Chalet one) and of course it’s perfect.
My Dad turned 97!
I started doing Ipsy bag reviews again. The best find from the bag this month: a REALHER lipstick. Just amazing quality and I need to look further into their other products.
I watched Get Me Roger Stone and the man seems like a needy psychopath.
I rewatched The Disaster Artist: still great.
I tried hard seltzer (not White Claw, it was a brand called HOOT) and it was very okay, I just don’t see the big deal? I think we all have low standards for things being good.
God, I miss Jon Stewart. I find myself just watching old segments from his show which are sadly still incredibly relevant.
I visited this coffee shop in Astoria called Coffee + Cake that’s so lovely. They make freshly baked goods each day and homemade ice cream and I’ll definitely return. This is their tomato & parmesan focaccia bread.
Tumblr media
I started taking antihistamine eye drops for seasonal allergies and they’ve cured me completely. It’s insane. I love them.
I tried birthday cake Kit Kats because why wouldn’t I and of course they’re good. But they’re basically just… white Kit Kats… and that’s already a thing that exists… and look I’m not trying to hate on them, so I’ll keep my mouth shut about it from here on out.
If I became famous, the first thing I’d endorse would be Vicks (obviously), but the second thing? This dairy-free, almond milk yogurt DAH! Yes, the name is terrible. But the yogurt is heavenly. The madagascar vanilla will change you.
Finally made this ricotta jam jar with crostini and it was everything I wanted it to be and more.
I’ve been keeping a collection of photos taken of the city throughout the pandemic that are just gorgeous photos, here are a few.

I watched the Holy Chicken! documentary from the Super Size Me guy and it was okay. I did know a lot of those chicken facts already since we haven’t been eating meat these last few months, so it wasn’t anything revolutionary. And then after I watched it, I was reading about it and then came across all the gross behavior by the creator of the film and uggghhhh I wish I hadn’t watched and supported it now.
I tried this New Orleans cold brew and whoa. Good stuff. I don’t exactly know the difference between cold brew and coffee and it’s such a boring thing to look up, so… here we are.
Will forever love the food at The Thirsty Koala in Astoria. Thank you Katie, Greg & Irene for gifting us so much of their food this month! Truly so sweet of you.
Favourite tweets of the month.
New favourite Health-Ade kombucha flavour: passion fruit - tangerine. Absolutely unreal.
I bought a ton of underwear from Aerie since I don’t feel comfortable going into any stores or on the subway yet, and they’re actually pretty great quality (I’m sorry I didn’t get on this sooner, Marla.) The sizing is a little off in that one medium doesn’t fit like another medium, but once you figure it out, you’re good.
This girl. She’s still breaking my heart with these renditions.
How do I set my Google Alerts so that these types of stories are the only news stories I read?
I learned how to make vodka martinis at home, so what I’m trying to say is that I’m better than you now.
Truly don’t know how I feel about this news, but I think I have to support it, right? I wish we could just leave good things alone. Why must we always want more.
I watched The Joy Luck Club and here’s my takeaway: don’t have daughters. And also maybe don’t have mothers? It seems like everyone is a disappointment to every character in this movie. I was expecting to love it, so when that didn’t happen I was a little disappointed.
I watched Dan In Real Life (mainly because of Steve Carell who was way too good for this movie) and it suuuuucked. Hated Dane Cook. Hated the plot. Hated the whole white, rich, we-dance-as-a-family type aesthetic of the whole movie.
I watched the first season of You and a few episodes of the second season and uuuuuuuggggghhhhhh what a garbage show. I don’t need to see anyone romanticize some pathetic Gossip Girl loser who I feel no empathy for. It’s actually just so badly written and how on earth did someone green-light this trash. Here’s a good piece written about it.
Also watched a bunch of reruns of 3rd Rock From The Sun and what an underrated, great show. Wish I remembered it more.
I’ve been on a real Harrison Ford bender lately and I can’t see it stopping anytime soon. I watched Sabrina (which was okay, the best part was seeing him play a nerdish, unlovable character). I also watched Working Girl (which is really not a great movie, but it was only watchable for Ford). Also saw Air Force One and what a movie. How on earth have I never seen it before?? Such a fox. If you haven’t seen it before, I shall entice you with this one line.
Rainier cherries are in season now and while I don’t particularly love a cherry, these are delightful.
I’ve been sucking down these Saratoga Springs sparkling waters for days and there’s no turning back, they’re refreshing in a way I didn’t think existed. Just pure magic.
The only summer salad that’s worth a damn is this panzanella salad, but make sure you add fresh mozzarella to it.
I never thought I liked biscotti until a friend recently made it, so maybe I’m just into chocolate biscotti?
What a great idea (below):
Tumblr media
If you’d like to hear the birds in NYC right now, get on over here.
I started watching Insecure but couldn’t really get into it, maybe I’ll give it more of a chance, maybe not. I feel like if you’re not hooked into a show within three episodes, it’s not gonna happen.
I rewatched Clueless and it’s really just a perfect movie. I could quote every line in this movie at one point in my life and I think I might still be able to. Still looking to emulate this perfect outfit one day.
Tumblr media
Cannot stop making this broccoli pasta with Banza and the Beyond Meat sausage.
Absolutely haunted by this moving front page of the Times.
I finished watching Fuller House and I’ll never know why I wanted to, it’s such a corny/actually-bad show and yet I still watched. Thankfully it’s over forever.
Incase you’re looking for an alternative site to Amazon for buying books: Bookshop.org
I haven’t read a book in what feels like forever, so I finally finished Glennon Doyle’s Untamed and wrote about it.
Excited to one day see the new LaGuardia.
I went over what I did from my spring list that I made in March.
I naively made a list of what I’d like to do this summer.
It’s been a harder month than normal and I found myself watching The Land Before Time and uncontrollably weeping onto my yoga mat (I like to watch movies in the background when I’m working out). A kind of cry that comes around every decade or so where you can’t really breathe and you’re blinded my tears and everything is too much to handle. I know it’s a sad movie, but I think it was the movie and the combination of this month that made me react that way. In any case, I hope kids today still want to watch that movie. It’s a hard one, but it’s really still so good.
My grandmother Ma passed away this month and since travel is not allowed, it was especially difficult for this to happen now. I felt helpless being separated from most of my family so I wrote a bit about how it made me feel. I could talk about the greatness of this woman endlessly, how it’s insane that you could live in this day and age and not read or write and still enrich the lives of everyone you know, there’s no way to sum her up as a person. I’ll just miss her. Her voice, her endless encouragement, all of it.
Some things I’d like to do this month: I’d like to not sink into an unending pit of depression (that’d be great), I’d like to keep going on our nightly walks with Nathan, I’m likely going to buy these bike shorts as soon as they’re back in stock and you can’t stop me (I already have an outfit in mind, trust me it’s gonna look good), I was looking forward to movie theatres reopening (the Regal near our house specifically) but the date’s been pushed again to the end of July (which will likely get pushed again), and I’d really like to start and finish another book this month.
If you’ve got any interest in reading last month’s roundup, you can see what went down in May over here.
