The perfect spring wardrobe according to a fashion consultant named Tobe, on March 8, 1936. These imports (from the Elsie Cobin collection from Paris) are, left to right: Morning, a Schiaparelli silk tweed fringed suit; a Vionnet-red sleeveless redingote over a black cape-dress; Tea, a Robert Piguet black and white cape ensemble; evening, a printed taffeta tunic dress by Mainbocher; All Day (seated) a Mainbocher petticoat frock with a candy-striped taffeta petticoat and a Schiaparelli Directoire reefer; Cocktails, an Alix suit dress, with a red checked organza peplum jacket.

OK!!! this isn't the concept i said i was gonna use for a hellsing oc but i had this idea a while back and figured I'd draw it
VVV VERY early concept of her design but she's the ringleader of a traveling vampire and ghoul (and rat) circus. she got bit on her way to perform in england so she had to call it off but decided to come back after a few years. that's basically all i have for her backstory atm
uhh shes not evil evil even if i plan to write her as an antagonist, she just wanted to continue her show but couldn't bc yk. she got turned into a vampire
the rat part is because she trained street rats to perform in exchange for food :o3 she's also a talented acrobat, magician and musician among other things

One Dress a Day Challenge
Black and White October
Indochine / Catherine Deneuve as Éliane Devries
The mixture of different sizes of polka dots in the dress gives it visual interest, especially when paired with the stripes in the hat. The outlining of the little "handkerchief" pleats at the hips is unusual; I don't think I've ever seen that before.
