12 Days of Gifmas! Day Two: A story idea you’ll never write

Heartless, s. winchester

Lyla Elcot was one of North America's most ruthless Hunters. Raised in foster care after the brutal death of her parents, she was told she was crazy for telling the truth. But she knew the truth behind their deaths, no matter what the others told her: they were butchered by a pack of vampires when she was six. She remembers almost every detail of the massacre, aside from how she survived.

At 14 years old, she ran away and began scouring the internet and old libraries for all of the folk lore about the supernatural world. She trained herself to be a Hunter and completed her first hunt at 15 years old. It was then that she realized vampires weren't the only monsters that were real. For years she was as famous as the Winchesters and rarely seen by other Hunters. She was notorious for finishing the hunts as quick as possible. She has a higher kill number than many veteran Hunters and she was known as the 'Heartless Hunter' because of this, as she cared only about killing monsters, not saving people.

But shortly after the disappearance of John Winchester, Lyla vanished as well. Panic spread through the Hunter community as they worried their best Hunters were being picked off by some incredible force. But after a year had gone by and no other Hunter vanished, the panic subsided and the community wrote Lyla off as dead.

After having left the supernatural world behind for a fairy tale dream of stability and a white picket fence, Lyla found herself happy for the first time in her life.

So when the Winchesters suddenly arrive on Lyla's doorstep years later bringing tales of the impossible, she wants nothing more than to refuse the two. But there are plans much bigger than what Lyla has in mind and she is thrust back into the world she so desperately tried to leave behind. Only this time she's facing angels and demons as the threat of the devil escaping looms over their heads.

& cedric diggory - the two started as friends, both being the captains of their respective quidditch teams. they bonded over watching the other two team captains fall out of their hate and into love. people would always call them the "mom" and "dad" of the group.

& oliver wood & morana rosier - the trio are all captains of their respective houses and bonded over watching cedric fall from his broom in their 2nd and 3rd year. the spend most of their time pissing off snape and the girls and cedric will come up behind oliver and stick q-tips in oliver's ears.

& ophelia ollivander & james potter - the couple adopted emmaline when she wad three years old after her mother's passed away. emmaline lives with her parents and three siblings in their home in godric's hollow.

& marlene mckinnon & dorcas meadows - the couple adopted emmaline from her birth mother after she was given up after her birth. she lived with her mother's until their unfortunate death in 1981, leaving the girl parentless once again.

& chloe ziegler - chloe and emmaline met each other in the back of professor binns history of magic in their 4th year. ever since the two girls spend their nights sneaking into the kitchens stealing sweets and throwing balled up parchment at professor snape whenever he isn't looking at them.

& joseph van buren - joseph and emmaline had been two peas in a pod the day the two stepped off the hogwarts express. from exchanging charms notes in the library to seeing how many grapes they could stuff in their mouth at dinner. however, joseph had unresolved feelings and his best friend emmaline...
