MICKY GEGGUS: "We formed after the original punk explosion in 1979, and got a deal relatively quickly with a small indie label who released our debut "Flares n Slippers" EP, which stayed in the indie charts for months, and got us headhunted by majors such as Warner Bros and EMI.

Being QUEEN fans, of course we fancied seeing our debut album on the same hallowed label, so we plumped for a 5 album deal with them. Life in the East End of London was never quite the same after that..."

2.) Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Kent, at home with my mum, dad, older brother and little sister!

3.) What’s your favourite line / lyric from DEAR EVAN HANSEN?

“We can just watch the whole world disappear, till you’re the only one I still know how to see, it’s just you and me.”

4.) What’s the first show you saw (West End, Tour, Broadway, etc.)?

The first show I saw live I think was Wicked, but the first musical I ever saw was RENT on DVD and that’s where my love for theatre started.

5.) What are you currently binge-watching on Netflix?

I’m currently binge watching “Tiny House Nation.” I’m absolutely obsessed with tiny houses and one day I REALLY want to build one of my own!

6.) What’s your favourite app and why?

Spotify is probably my favourite app purely because I love having music on, in one way or another, music always makes everything better!

7.) What’s your favourite song to sing in the shower?

Probably “Purple Rain.” It starts off kind of slow and somber, but it builds and ends up being so EPIC, I love it!

8.) What’s your go-to London spot?

Picture House Central, it’s a quirky cinema near Piccadilly Circus. They have all sorts there, like the latest releases but also the lesser known indie films, there’s a coffee shop, a bar and a rooftop! What more could you want!?

9.) What’s a hidden talent you have that people might not know about?

I wouldn’t say it’s a talent as such but I do know my way around a pair of roller blades pretty well... or at least I used to, it’s been a little while.

10.) What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

To try to be the most authentic and true version of myself, not to change parts of myself for the benefit of others: “To love the you that you are.”

i still don’t have the will to continue my fanfic one-shots etcetera,  so here’s 10 questions so y’all be able to get to know who i am (does anyone really care? lol)

1. Name: venuslabyrinth is my pen name, my nickname’s gian (y’all thought i’d give my real name? not yeeeet)

2. Age: 21 years old

3. What do most people not know about you? they don’t know that i write fanfics hohoho

4. Hobbies: i draw anime, play musical instruments like guitar and piano

5. What are you proud of? i’m proud that i have been consistent in working out since quarantine (but not in writing aaahck sorry)

6. Have you ever collected anything? What was it? I’ve been collecting coins and now i have a lot of them, although i just started last year so it’s not complete just yet. But i think someday i would want to collect dolls

7. How many relationships have you been in? NONE. i’m 21 and I've never had a boyfriend or whatsoever. I just, i’m not into it.

8. What is the best birthday gift you have ever received? My last birthday, I've received quite a lot from my friends and the memorable ones were the harry potter music box and a fountain pen.

9. Do you sleep during class? NEVER. Although there were a lot of times when i wanted to sleep because the class was boring lol.

10. Text or call? Text, please. I’m uncomfortable with conversations on the phone. Id prefer face-to-face conversation than phone call.

With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. 3. Which part of [title] was hardest to write?

Definitely the Malfoy Manor scenes. I do love to read/write angst, but that story has given me more agony than I care to admit. Putting Ron (and Hermione) through all that they went through- right from their capture to Ron’s recovery, were the most disturbing scenes I’ve ever written. And contrary to what many might think of me, I seriously do not love torturing Ron.

I knew right from the start how I wanted the scene to be, and that it would be dark and angsty, hence the million warnings. But I never realised how torturous it would be for me to put Ron through it. 

Now I’m sure, I’ve scared all my prospective readers of the story away. lol!

1. Your dream car?

Since I was a kid, I always wanted a Jaguar.  Not because it’s fancy and expensive, but because I like the way the lights look like fierce eyes.  

2. The feature/expansion pack you’d love to see in the Sims?

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Makin’ Magic type expansion pack in the new games.  That was the very first Sims game my family got (even before the base game because we didn’t know how the sims worked) and I could have played that for hours on end, trying to collect every ingredient and casting every spell possible.  

3. Your turn offs/ons?

This sounds really cheesy, but I love intelligence and drive.  I love it when someone is really motivated towards a life goal or passion.  Appropriately, laziness is a turn-off for me. 

4. Favorite ice cream flavor?

Culver’s (technically custard) caramel pumpkin spice concrete mixer.  

5. Dogs or Cats?

 Dogs in theory, cats in practice.  

6. A movie you’ll never watch?

The Saw movies.  Never, ever.....

7. A language you want to learn?

Japanese. Then I could understand more anime shows. 

8. Console or PC? (not necessarly for the Sims)

That’s a hard one....I grew up on the first playstation, but I have so much history playing Nancy Drew and the Sims on PC....hmmm, Probably PC. 

9. Your dream job as a child?

How can I pick just one! Painter, Astronaut, Basketball player, teacher, race car driver, President. 

10. Name one thing your country has, that other countries don’t.

We have Disney World, specifically EPCOT, my home away from home.
