Starter call! Yep, you saw correctly. I've been making progress in my drafts, and I realized since it was mentioned the other day that I function a little better under pressure, so, yes.

These will be a little shorter (and I'm going to be a little strict with myself on that so that I actually get them written), so expect roughly a paragraph and if it stems from an idea that we've spoken about in plotting or whatnot, then it might be a little longer. But generally, they will be shorter starters that knowing me, will become lengthier threads as the replies progress! This is also welcome to non-Genshin blogs, but then please remember that I do not have any verses outside of Yelan's game canon, and so I'll be looking at your Genshin verses!

I am having Feelings about Eowyn of Rohan and the "what do you fear" exchange and I have no place to put them to avoid becoming a puddle of overwhelm on the floor of a storage closet in Retail Hell.

*vibrating with excitement* hi, my friend!! You have come to the right place. I am literally always having feelings about eowyn. God, where do i even begin abt that exchange?? Honestly, i LOVE this convo sm bc i relate to it. I know that feeling of desperation and of anger all too well. I’ve stood in her place & i’ve felt it in my bones. It has me in such a chokehold even now. Top three eowyn moments for sure. Perfectly encapsulates what i love abt her. Not to mention miranda otto’s excellent acting in this scene. Her eyes express her feelings sooo well. The resentment. The bitterness. The anger. The despair. You can feel everything she’s felt, she feels about her life and the ‘duty’ that has been imposed on her in your veins.

Here, look at a couple of lines of hers, what a badass:

I have no words right now for how unbelievably excited I am!!!! I purchased two books recently, "Dead Girls Don't Say Sorry" by the amazing writer @aritany and "Salivation" by @alienfuckeronmain who is not only a brilliant writer but is also running their own writing course called "Blood/Ink/Bone" that has already changed my life!

While I don't know either of them extremely personally I am honored to say that I have gotten to speak with both of them one on one and they're both as wonderful as their writing suggests! 💙 I am also extremely honored to be able to read both of their work and watch their journeys progress as published authors! So if you're looking for stories that are beautifully written and will affect you in a deep and visceral way you have to check out these two authors!
