Brother Dradin Kashmir might only be like 27 but he absolutely should not be at the club, he is not cut out for the club, he does not have the clubber's temperament, and unfortunately he is, right now, on his way to the club 😔

MCU: *releases Koinu no Carnival in GOTG 3* "omg Miku is canon in MCU!!" "Vocaloid is canon in MCU!!!!"
Tumblr media
I'm sobbing and so does Chopin
I understand that Miku is the most famous Vocaloid among all of them (probably the icon) but mAN- I don't know how should I feel when a song that was made for Classicaloid gets to be called as the Vocaloid song from GOTG3, I mean it's technically is a Vocaloid song since it features vocal synthesizer voices but damn, only 0.01% knew it originates from an anime 😭 I can't really argue with that.
Tumblr media
IDK WHETHER I SHOULD BE HAPPY THAT KOINU NO CARNIVAL IS GETTING ATTENTION - I am happy that Ehamic's music is getting more popular and more people know about the music (like oh my god finally some recognition), but also a part of me feels frustrated that it will be remembered as the "Vocaloid song from GOTG3", again. I kind of have mixed feelings for it.
Not to mention that it's not just Miku singing in that song, there are 50 Vocaloids included - I can't believe someone dissected the voices and recognizes them!
youtube
Are you a classical music/composer enjoyer and been wanting to watch an anime about it?
No? Well you're not the first one. 😔
Yes? Well, I'M OFFERING YOU GUYS FREE FOOD!
Tumblr media
Anyways, if you like a slice of life anime of the historical composers that can transform into magical boys/girls (such as Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Lizst, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Badarzewska, etc) + classical music remixes I suggest you to watch Classicaloid 😳 That "slice of life" can be very random and chaotic, but it explains their character along the series. It'll make you "what the fuck is going on" too. They have from comedic, serious, fun to sad moments.
Tumblr media
Q = How many episodes and seasons?
It has 2 seasons, 25 episodes each! 50 episodes in total. Each composers are able to wield their powers called Musik and they have unique abilities!
If you want to see someone react to the first few episodes to get a glimpse on what it looks like - there is this video (they're the ones who introduced me to this anime):
youtube
You can learn something from each of the classical composers along the anime - such as:
Beethoven puts exactly 60 coffee beans for his perfect coffee, and he is really, really, REALLY passionate
Mozart is left handed and a cheeky dude
Dvorak loves trains
Tchaikovsky loves mushrooms
yada yada yada the Lizst goes on
Tumblr media
Q: Where can I find a community of it?
We're a very small community and in desperate to find Classicaloid fans to talk about the series and share our thoughts 😭 The only way to discover fans is from tags tbh.
BUT, perhaps you're a Classicaloid fan who is looking to be in a Discord server, you may DM me and I'll invite you! Most of us here speaks English <3
Peace! Anyways, artwork coming in soon, I'm (kind of) free from my college projects 😳

top 5 male and female performances from things you've watched this year
female:
margarete schon as kriemhild in die nibelungen. she's UNREAL in this. the way she completely changes from innocent girl to dead inside and bent on revenge between movies... margarete schon will stand completely still not moving a muscle and the girls will go insane
sophie okonedo as margaret of anjou in the hollow crown: she ATE this role. DEVOURED it. @ benedict cumberbatch this is how you deliver a big performance in this series. it's so funny how literally nobody else holds a candle to her when she's onscreen (except for her scene partner tom sturridge <3)
teresa wright in shadow of a doubt! she carries this movie! charlie's such an excellent complicated character. we need more film noir detective protagonists who are also teenage girls. she's so normal <3
deborah kerr in black narcissus. ik she said the innocents was her best performance and the consensus is kathleen byron is the standout but deb blew me away here
lillian gish in the white sister: ok i have to do it yeah who's doing it like gish...she danced along to music in a silent film and i fell in love. her two big scenes...yeah. i <3 nuns losing their minds
honourable mentions include ann dvorak in scarface, candace hilligoss in carnival of souls, sylvia sidney in city streets, aria bedmar in hermana muerte, jennifer jones in the song of bernadette
male:
conrad veidt in the hands of orlac: genuinely you could list any silent film connie's in but he's unreal in this. his acting is so physical there's no other actor like him
tom sturridge as henry vi in the hollow crown: aahhh this performance was the perfect blend of everything i love about shakespeare's henry and historical henry. the way he fidgets with his hands, the vacant expression in his eyes, the look...also this doesn't have to do with his performance but i love what they did with his costumes and court
paul muni in i am a fugitive from a chain gang: paul muni's such an incredible leading man. where are all the paul munis of the world
nick stahl in disturbing behavior: whatever it's my list and this was so FUN. he understood the assignment for this movie and steals every scene he was in. when nick stahl wins the oscar for best supporting actor at the 1998 academy awards then you will realize
roddy mcdowall in conquest of the planet of the apes: smh i'm such a fake apes fan i hadn't seen conquest until this year😔ok but 70s caesar you will ALWAYS be famous. i was gagged several times. the first time a human tells him no and caesar just gives him this LOOK...you completely forget the same actor played cornelius bc the performances are so different. he had so many great lines too. i love zira and cornelius and their violent revolutionary son caesar <3 the second best performance from 1972
honourable mentions include uno henning in a cottage on dartmoor, cillian murphy in oppenheimer, keir dullea in bunny lake is missing, and gary cooper in meet john doe, phillips holmes and lionel barrymore in broken lullaby

VERY out of the blue, but Var what are your favourite classical music pieces? I’m trying to study but my vibes are off 😔
oh!! i will take this opportunity to share my favorite pieces that i used to listen to in college while doing homework
youtube
first is this string quartet by Schubert. it's based on music for a play he did (the play was lost but his music remains)
youtube
next is a lovely string quartet from Mendelssohn!
youtube
this is a lovely piece by dvorak!
youtube
and finally we have one of my favorite string quartets from haydn! he composed a TON of string quartets, and at one point in college i just listened to all of haydn's string quartets while studying lol
good luck studying!! i hope this helps :D

who's your favourite composer? :D
that's very difficult 😭😭 there are so many music periods, and types of music (concertos, solos, etc.), and stuff.
i, think the MOST i can narrow it down to is rachmaninoff and chopin for piano, and mendelssohn and silbelius for violin.
brilliant men 🥰💖💘💝
