i think that vriska homestuck and vriska pesterquest are two distinct versions of vriska and i think that a lot of people are thinking more about PQ vriska than HS vriska when they discourse about her because they remember PQ more clearly than HS and so they don’t remember like… the true, canon vriska from the comic, they mostly just remember a version of vriska that was one person’s exercise in projecting onto a character to write about her experiences, but was actually not all that in character when you compare it to HS vriska. so the discourse goes nowhere because we are now talking about two completely different characters.

#this is basically me saying i need to stop caring so much #i see people be so heinously wrong abt vriska yet talking with so much authority on the matter and i’m like #what is going on.#but then i realize they’re talking about PQ vriska #and yknow what. they’re right about pq vriska. but pq vriska is wrong about hs vriska #so like i need to just go ‘oh u mean pq vriska. not real vriska. ok moving on’ instead of getting mad that they don’t understand her #when i first played PQ i remember loving vriska a route and thinking it was in character #but then i read hs and then played pq basically back to back #and it was like. oh this is not my vriska. this is someone else #and its not like i haven’t done the same thing: written a character (vriska in fact) to just be a projection of myself #to express my feelings #but i’m not writing official stuff i’m writing fanfic for fun #like honestly almost none of the PQ routes feel in character to me off the back of reading HS proper #which isn’t a crime i still have fun playing PQ it is fun!#it is not so heinously out of character to be unenjoyable #it is just… not really accurate to canon #and shouldn’t be held up as the truth of the characters

saw a comment about how Gojo’s afterlife could’ve actually been a product of his imagination that was his acceptance of death—I never even considered it, although now it feels like an obvious option on the table. Haibara mentioning him butting into Nanami’s death is the only thing I can see going against that, but Gojo knows of their past that affected Nanami his entire life, so it doesn’t debunk it. When Jogo was dying, he spoke of reincarnation with Hanami and Dagon, and that too was vague in how real it was (at least for Hanami and Dagon being there), but was likely Jogo himself accepting his and their ends. A surprisingly similar end to Gojo’s. That interpretation does make everything 10 times sadder though.

#both takes seem valid but now I kind of like this one more 😭 I feel dumb for missing that interpretation completely #with maki and mai that seemed like an innate connection similar to when yuuji died and met with sukuna before reviving #pandas siblings end are also vague. but since their souls are stored inside I wouldn’t be surprised #if their moments saying goodbye were also in an innate landscape that they’re connected to #whereas in scenes where the character of focus is dying they often see other dead #and it’s unclear if hanami is actually there for jogo. or if haibara was there in nanamis last moments #the latter DOES seem like nanamis imagination #so honestly I could see how everything in gojos afterlife scene was 100% himself dying and conjuring his ideal version of passing over #jjk spoilers #gojo satoru #thanks to the random person who commented that #maybe a ton of people think this and I’m late to knowing but it’s a fun interpretation #and unless there’s definitely proof against it. it’s 100% a valid reading #jjk 236

#my test subjects if you will #& yet i am still obsessed w them after all these years #idk i just think it’s kinda special bc it’s like we grew up together almost?#the first iteration of kel & co were honestly very wacky. like the deviant art era of my oc making if you know what i mean #but they’ve changed & grown a lot over the years & that’s kinda fun!! they’re very dear to me tbh #sometimes i read through old notes for them & i’m just like. man what was i thinking #i could honestly write an entire essay on all of the scrapped lore for these guys. the kel & co multiverse is Very extensive lol #the original three the story was about were bow kel & a lil ghost i named tragedy (i was 12 lol)#her real name is isobel. she’s not in canon anymore but she IS in monster boyz. i put a lot of the old characters in mbz.#dhes wasn’t in the original story at first either. he was a character i made for an rp lmao #but once that ended i decided i loved him so much & had to put him in my main project #he has changed the most from his original design tbh. personality wise i mean #he went from very minor side character to the literal focus of the story #he’s essentially the main narrator. even more so than kel #idk. i was just randomly thinking about them & how long it’s been.#gives me feelings when i think about it all lol #i did not sleep last night at all btw #rainyrambles

I remember seeing the one of Gustavo where the episode just focuses on the gnomes of gnome forest and they need to stay in a home, so Gustavo plans to help them while ALSO taking a sort of revenge at Peppino for making their home damaged- (this is what I can remember since I haven’t seen it in a while and it’s from the top of my head 😅)

BUT THEY’RE SO MUCH FUN and so much potential can come from this and an actual show!! If McPig ever does actually decide to make a show of Pizza Tower I AM WATCHING IT.
