I remembered that a few years ago I've participated in a tag like this, so I kinda was in mood to start a complete new tag chain + slightly rewritten rules to revive it!

Almost always he brings these things with him:

Something to drink (probably water or some kinda lemonade) / hand sanitizer / Chewing gum / Wallet with money + cards / a vape / Passport / a pen / Charging cable (of fucking course...) / Air Pods / Keys / an extra pair of glasses / USB stick / his phone!!! + OPTIONAL (not pictured here) If the bag has extra space, he's probably bringing a selfie stick or even a tripod along with him, as he likes to be prepared if he spontaneously feels like recording or photographing something. Also bandaids or tissues cause he, uhh, tends to accidentally hurt himself whenever he's filming fdsksfdkj. If there is even more extra space left, you can bet that he's tagging his laptop along with him.

Some pseudodragon S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. for Tabletop Turtles! This is just some concept art and is not the final design. Mechanical, inorganic creatures are very much outside of my comfort zone, and I'll need some more practice and refinement before I can create a design I'm satisfied with.

I'm not sure whether I want him to stay purple to keep him looking clearly recognizable, or if I want him to be a more natural metal color (i.e. silver) to better fit in with the more fantasy, D&D aesthetic.

You're Fig Faeth and your horns came in over the summer and you pick up the bard class as a form of adolescent rock 'n' roll rebellion, and it works! It's exactly the outlet you need! Your classmates know what they want to do with their work. They all have a thesis statement. And yeah, there's cohesion in the music you make, but you've never had to think about why you make it. You've never sat down and dissected what it is about bass that speaks to you. You've never poured over your lyrics to pick at any deeper meaning. Why should you? You don't play music for a grand design, you do it to... huh, why do you do it?

(Your art is the one form of self-expression that feels as safe as Disguise Self does, because even if you're pouring your heart onto the page and then screaming it in front of thousands of people, it's not like you're really making yourself known. You can sing I'm lonely, I'm scared, I'm furious, and your fans will sing it right back, and there will still be the distance between performer and audience to keep your heart safe.)

Now you're being asked to look inward to explain the artistic choices you're making, and you can't help but recoil at that, because you'd rather do anything than look inward. Meanwhile, your classmates have no problem with it, so you start to wonder if you're a real artist at all. Can your art be authentic if it only exists to bolster a thesis statement? Has your art been unauthentic this whole time because you've never really thought about a thesis statement before? You can't think about yourself— acknowledging your own existence makes you want to puke. So if your music is an extension of yourself, (and it is, even if it's just because the spotlight reveals only what you want it to,) you can't think about your music. You can't. You have to. Your grade depends on it.

..... Gotta be honest, I actually really, really, really want one of them to die. I genuinely think it's going to be Shanks because bold of you to assume a dear beloved mentor that shows up every 200 chapters survives in a shonen manga. That for starters. Let's get ready to say goodbye to the silly redhead because that man is dying for sure. It'd make sense that Buggy died instead/too but whatever, one of them has to die and I will not have it otherwise.

But!!! But here's the thing. Do I want the angst of these two not being able to make amends and Buggy mourning Shanks' death? Buggy showing that he cares after Shanks' death? After it's too late? Maybe even seeking revenge because somebody killed him? Or perhaps hating himself a bit more than what he already does because he didn't reach out to him sooner?

Or do I want these two to make amends and get along for a little while, fighting side by side, to then witness Shanks' death and see Buggy suffer the loss of his best friend? This time accepting his death is easier but it still bothers him that they didn't have enough time to be together.

Oda loves Buggy's character too much to not do anything amazing and angsty with these two, so I am not worried about it. I just know that I'm gonna cry a whole lot and I am going to want to die right after seeing one of them dying. So I get it, anon, it kills me. But as a writer though?????? I need them to suffer. I will want to die, yes, but do you realize how good and angsty it would be???
