hii, its the anon who asked about lgbtq+ readers.

what i had in mind was a nonbinary 9th member who uses they/them pronouns and interviewers and talk how hosts etc keep misgendering them and using the wrong pronouns, saying how theyre the only female member. the boys are the one to keep adamantly correcting them, no matter how many times they have to do it. the reader would be annoyed at the interviewers but glad the boys had their back, maybe the boys reassuring them at the end.

MAIN MASTERLIST

"Welcome back to the podcast! Today we have a special guest, or guests, should I say, Stray Kids! Everyone give it up for Stray Kids!" the interviewer, Oscar, introduces us, the camera panning to us all sat in a cosy studio setting. We were currently in LA promoting our new album.

"Thank you inviting us!" Bang Chan says bashfully. We all knew of the podcast, well, us English speakers did, and we were so excited to be on the show.

"So, let's get right into it, you're here to talk about your new album, right?" Oscar smiles, looking down at his notes before asking us the question.

"Yeah, we've just released our new album 5STAR, and we hope that our fans enjoy it, and, yeah!" Felix begins to explain, smiling as he trails off, not knowing what else to add on. You give him a rub on the shoulder, letting him know that he was doing a good job. That's what you loved about being in Stray Kids, no matter who you were, you had each other's backs.

"It really is so cool to have you all here, and may I say, this really is a unique bunch of members you have here," Oscar waves his hands as he explains.

"Well, we like to think that we all bring something different to the table haha," you laugh along politely.

"Well, that's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about, Y/N," Oscar turns his body towards you slightly.

The others go 'ohhh', making you blush slightly.

"You want to ask me?" you brush your hair back, your newly cut black mullet, which went down a treat with stays.

"Yes, the reason I say you're in quite a unique situation, is because, well, it's so rare to see 8 guys and a girl in one group together!" Oscar smiles.

Oh.

Your smile dropped.

Maybe you had gotten your hopes up, thinking he'd be talking about your input on the fashion of the group, considering it was quite well known, especially with the group's growing popularity that you created many of the pieces that yourself and the boys would wear.

But no. Somehow you didn't think that this topic would be brought up once again.

"Stray Kids is family, no matter what," Hyunjin spoke up, communicating as best he could in English that gender didn't matter.

The boys could sense your discomfort at Oscar blatantly calling you a girl. Surely he's done enough research that he knows you identify differently?

Even the less confident English speakers, Lee Know and Jeongin seemed to catch on what was happening.

"And what an interesting family you are indeed," Oscar didn't notice your unease or the slightly more defensive stances that the boys acquired from their seats.

"I also wanted to comment that I think Y/N is my bias, you guys!"

Seeming to think there was a more lighter mood in the room, Y/N themself to relax a bit and laugh along.

"Come on boys, don't be jealous, I just think she's got this special quality about her," Oscar continued, thinking the frowns on your members' faces were playfully jealous of his comment.

"They are very special to us, we feel lucky to have them in our group," Han spoke up, subtlely linking his pinkie with yours as a form of comfort. The boys knew that such situations like this still hurt you, because of how you struggled to understand why you felt different and finally knew why, it was frustrating when other people, who were clearly in a position to do some research, didn't know.

Of course you'd give the benefit of the doubt, maybe he didn't know and he might be apologetic, in which case it would all smooth over.

But it wasn't in this case.

"Actually, Oscar, Y/N is non-binary," Chan began, looking towards you to see if you wanted to continue.

"Yes, I use they/them pronouns and don't identify as either male or female, I'm just, me," you shrug it off and say casually, because that's how you felt it should be. It wasn't a big deal,.it was just who you are.

"Oh wow, that's quite interesting, so you don't look at it like she's your younger sister? Or you don't think that as a boyband you have a disadvantage having a female member?" Oscar furrowed his brows.

"We don't feel the need to recognise our member by a gender," Seungmin grabbed the mic provided by the studio and calmly spoke into it, it almost fully calmed you down, his soft voice as he spoke in English filling the room.

"It doesn't matter. We are a group. Just a group of people who like making music and entertaining our stays, and that's how they like it, so..." Felix's knee bobbed up and down, and you couldn't tell if the ray of sunshine was slowly turning into a thundercloud or if he was nervous to speak his mind. You were thankful either way.

"Right... I mean, it's funny, it must be weird, like having her as a novelty to the group, almost?" Oscar said genuinely, like he didn't see an issue in how he was conducting himself.

"They are best," Jeongin threw a cheeky smile your way, making the weight on your shoulders feel just a little bit lighter.

"We're a unit. A team. I mean, it's funny, we don't feel the need to separate ourselves based on gender," Chan passive aggressively said, using the man's previous words to show he would not take anymore ignorance to how his member was being treated.

"Look, I don't expect people to understand straight away, but I can appreciate them looking at me not just for what I believe is a socially constructed view, one that I don't align with, but for my talent," you slowly explained, nerves filling your body as you hoped the way that you had explained yourself had made sense and would get a message across to the interviewer.

"See, that's something I think would bring even more attention to your success! Y/N do you think that creating this facade has brought you more fans?" Oscar questioned, his kind intentions slipping away.

"Excuse me?" you were taken aback. Facade? He thought that you were pretending?

"Hyung? We can go now? Yeah, ok, great. We'll be leaving now, thank you for your time, I think," Chan sarcastically smiled at Oscar after getting the green light from their manager that they could leave.

"So, that wraps up our interview with Stray Kids today..."

You sighed as you all got into the van, leaving the studio all together. You sat in the back with Lee Know and Changbin.

"What did he say at the end?" Lee Know questioned, rubbing your knee soothingly.

"That I'm a fake," you scrunch your face, looking at the ceiling of the car to trap your tears and avoid them from escaping.

"He has no idea what he's talking about, Y/Nnie," Changbin turned to you as best he could at the back of the van.

"I just wish I could feel normal, but sometimes it's things like this that just alienate me from everyone else, you know?" you sigh, tapping your leg with your fingers to distract yourself.

"You're far from an alien, Y/N. We don't care about what other people say, you're a part of us. Chan hyung was right, we're a unit, and we'll stay as one forever," Hyunjin reassured you.

"Plus, if anyone is an alien, it's Hannie," Seungmin savagely chuckled.

"I'M AN ALIEN ON THIS EARTH!!!" Han took that as his cue to sing his song loudly, causing you to groan and cover your ears.

"Someone help him return to his home planet," you giggled, making the other boys laugh along with you.

"Seriously though, we've got you, hm? Stupid interviewers like that have no respect..." Jeongin shook his head, feeling irritated.

"He was nice at the start..." you trailed off, thinking about Oscar's bright personality which was for sure what brought in viewers and listeners of the podcast.

"But then he showed his true colours, he was rude, you didn't deserve the disrespect, end of," Chan said from the front of the car, making his voice a little louder than normal so everyone could hear.

"Thanks, Channie," you smiled, the two boys in the back of the car with you letting you relax against them as the stress seemed to leave your body.

They had your back, always.

I am here with the mans theories for s5! He did say during his presentation that it is a work in progress and it will for sure keep changing because the LA offer fucked everything up for him. Btw in case you were wondering, he ambushed me in the early morning right as I woke up. He was waiting by my door so when i opened it all i saw was him smiling at me, i swear he us losing his mind. Anyway the theories are (in no particular order): -‘IF Justin goes to LA, Brian goes with him. Or we get like a week time jump and they leave for LA together’ -‘Better yet, Justin doesn’t leave at all because i get its a big deal for his future BUT I personally hate it and my feelings matter more so…’ - ‘I don’t trust that Connor actor. What if he’s gonna be like Ethan or something? I will fucking die’ - ‘Brian will now for SURE say I love you. I’m thinking Blondie drops the la news and maybe Brian realizes how big his love is and how stupid he is so he tells him. Like maybe chases him in the airport or goes after him to LA cause thats less cringey and I know Bri would rather cut his leg off than chase someone through an airport’ - ‘So basically they move in together and Brian confesses his love for him and they live happily ever after’ - ‘ohhhh Brian is his date to the Rage premiere! That’s gonna be fun! I know he’s gonna be so proud of his sunshine’ - ‘i still want Jen and Brian being best friends episode! Like when they looked for his office but more. Also where the fuck is my girl Daphne? Imagine Daph and Bri talking shit about LA’ -‘you know what? Throw in Hunter as well. Give me uncle/nephew episode again’ - ‘okay so Brian asked him to move in. I WANT THEM DECORATING SHIT! or furniture shopping or some domestic shit like that. Or Brian comes home to bunch of art stuff everywhere! But he doesn’t get mad because he’s a big boy in love now’ - ‘i cant decide how he will tell him that he loves him. Maybe at a dinner or maybe at a diner, Blondie does something dumb and he says it while laughing or something OR what if when they’re having sex Bri goes “you know I love you, right?” Something cute like that and Blondie will be all excited like ‘oh took you long enough also likewise’’ - ‘i cant decide on the big finale. I love you cant be it since there’s others in the show too unfortunately so i guess they matter too. But it has to be something big and nice and sweet, to wrap it all up nicely with a bow, ya know? OHHH KINDA LIKE SEASON 3 FINALE! With all of them cute and happy and in love and carefree and living their best lives together and Brian and Justin are finally together happy since Bri is now a big boy in love not scared to admit it’ - ‘also what is going on with the cancer? Is it gone? Is it still there? He had that whole awakening cause of it so cancer has to still play a big role. I want more of that even tho it hurts me but I think that’s gonna really make Brian even more different in a good way.’ -‘you know what i want? Brian and Justin all happy and in love with Gus! And they bump into Brians mom HA! Show her how great he’s doing’ I’m not gonna lie, my heart kind of broke for him when he was reading me his list for what he thinks about s5. Because he was so excited when he talked about the happy ending. I’m talking big smiles and giving examples about how the ep could end with a camera looking through different windows and it’s Britin and Gus together or maybe theyre celebrating Christmas or a birthday and everyone is together all happy and Britin is kissing and it ends with Brian saying i love you to Justin. AND IT ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY HURT ME HEARING THAT AND KNOWING THE HORRIBLE TRUTH! i feel like a mother now wanting to protect her baby from the bad world. What have I done? He is going to be heartbroken the second he puts on s5.

Oh my god. Dear sweet anon, I am worried for your brother's well-being. He is making QAF into some christmas movie rom com where there's going to be a happy montage at the end and... well that's not how this is going to go. I don't know whether we warn him or whether that's unfair because none of us were warned. (No kidding, once a year my facebook memories remind me that I was VERY EXCITED to watch QAF S5.)

This is going to be a complete and utter emotional breakdown, I fear. Just remind him that it is accepted as canon (from CowLip) that the ending never meant to imply that Brian and Justin are broken up.

And that it is a good thing to care so much about something that it Makes You Feel Things. Even if those feelings at the time are Very Unpleasant. And that those Very Unpleasant Feelings build community in fandom. But, yeah, art that makes you feel... that's the whole point, isn't it? I honestly don't know that we would still have a qaf fandom to this day if the ending had been unambiguously happy.

Bad Batch thoughts & predictions Ep 12

Continuing these written reactions/predictions somewhere cause itd be fun I think to see what actually ends up happening and remembering what I thought at the time so im dumping it here, youre welcome. (Feel free to discuss if you want) if you want to keep up with it im gonna be tagging these as #jay rambles about bb

- So I sort of expected it by the end of last episode but it seems like last episode was a start of an episode arc about hera's family, which, for rebel's fans I'm sure it's cool and exciting and maybe answers some questions or will actually show things discussed in rebels maybe, but as someone who hasn't seen rebels yet, I really hope this episode and the next few have more bad batch screentime, cause we were a little robbed last episode lol (but in a way I do still enjoy this stuff too, because im sure when I DO watch rebels it'll make the experience better). -- I'm not disliking this arc or anything, but up to this point we've kind of had almost mandalorian style 'one episode one adventure' sorts of episodes, and personally I really hope we get more of that (which I think we will), because while this is all new content and everything, we all have to admit clone wars had some less interesting filler arcs here and there, and I just hope bb doesn't fall the same way (across all of its seasons, im not very concerned about it so far from what we've seen of season 1) because if there is filler, I'd rather sit through a couple of the one episode stories, rather than a 3-4 episode story that takes nearly a month to get through if im disliking it, mostly for the fact that even if we got those 1 ep fillers, its more stories and more likely I'd like at least one. ---kinda rambling about this unnecessarily atm cause while again right now I think bb is fine, I just want the future to be that way too. - fffff every time I see howzer on screen I think of that fucking audio thats "here comes the boy, hello boy~" and honestly can you blame me he is so precious like ugh I swear dave you better be nice to him -- YOU CAN TELL HE FEELS SO BAD AND GUILTY LIKE IT HURTS - hey admiral can you not be MEAN to howzer when he is trying to be fucking helpful -- ;-; BRO im saying it so much already but I feel so bad for howzer like dude someone help him --- imo it feels like its sort of setting up howzer for something more important in the show kinda, at least for his character. Like we can clearly tell he doesn't really agree with the empire and I think they're going to do something with that. He's probably undercover for someone against the empire but I get the bad feeling they're gonna pull a Fives and have him go against the empire and help everyone else somehow but then he will probably end up dead because we cant have nice things. - hello cross... bet you wont be saved this episode - Ok good, some more bad batch here already. -- ALSO GONKY BEING DEFECTIVE!!!! EVEN GONKY IS DEFECTIVE LIKE BB THATS SO CUTE! - uh, im not the only one getting the leia transmission vibes from hera, right? -- ok, again I haven't seen rebels so I dont know BUT if hera has the ability to talk to bb, couldn't she have done so in rebels? Yeah she's older and im sure better at fighting and defending herself and all that, but wouldn't it still be possible for her to have gotten in some kind of rough situation in Rebels to ask for bb's help again? I super doubt bb made any appearance of any kind in Rebels, so doesn't that imply that she lost communications with them? What happens to bad batch >> - bad batch not wanting to help but because omega really wants to you can see its making hunter soften up and I appreciate it - bruh what??? Taa is dead af, like theres no way the show is gonna pull some magic and be like 'oh yep here he is' thing??? Like this has to be a lie, but even then, what even is the plan here?? Saying "oh hes recovering" well he can't be recovering forever, how does that seem like a good plan to lie about that?? People are gonna find out?? - "Great just what we need" from Wrecker about crosshair MAKES ME ANGRY LIKE??? YES?? DONT BE MAD AT HIM ITS NOT HIS FAULT??? SAVE YOUR FUCKING BOY??? -- oooo then the rest of bb doesn't comment about it literally gsjrkgbdkfbg why do they not care about him???? Like it seems they legitimately dont care about crosshair, even though theyve been together for so long like even before the show came out they

had history together and were all really close. I know people argue "oh well its just difficult to save him and its unrealistic for them right now" but so what? Even if they aren't trying to save him they should at least CARE about him. --- Which is also like the thing with echo and fives!!!! Like Echo didn't seem to care much at all when Rex mentioned fives even a little! Or even about seeing Rex that much!! Dave I'm gonna need some answers my guy, cause you humanized these characters but then you dont make them act that way so like whats up. - Lucky hunters abilities came in handy - Back to crosshair for a second im predicting they 100% arent saving him this season. There was a poster released part way through the season and he's not even on it... makes me so sad. - "I'd do the same for you." ;-; that didnt need to get that deep - CROSSHAIR BETTER NOT START SHIT WITH HOWZER - Howzer helping Hera's parents or at least implying that is good but that also means im right so far and therefore worried >> -- HES GOING TO GET FUCKING CAUGHT I BET TALKING TO THEM LIKE THIS AT SOME POINT AND HOW MUCH DO YOU WANNA BET ITS GONNA BE CROSSHAIR THAT CATCHES HIM --- Cham stfu its literally so obvious that howzer is trying to be genuine, also if he's kind of undercover for him like what the fuck do you expect howzer to do if he has to play along with the empire to keep his cover?? "Won't make that mistake again" Fuck off like honestly. ---- #stopbeingmeantohowzer2021 - "A little help" and the gentle "Hey" ahh love it - I'm really enjoying this whole them fighting in the ships sequence - "Stay here and guard the capitol" SCARES ME -- Please for the love of god bad batch don't get howzer killed --- or plot B Bad batch maybe run into howzer but save him and take him with you at least temporarily ---- oh god.... bb is helping heras parents escape and that means howzers gonna get in trouble.../probably replaced by crosshair - Crosshair is smart but thats also badddd - The scene of howzer and crosshair looking at each other is killing meeeeeeeee - Ohhh is howzer gonna stop them before they go out the door? -- YES HE IS SEE WHAT A GOOD BOY HE IS - (please fucking listen to him I beg) - Aw dude I just had a thought that breaks my heart... howzer cares about his squad and "trying to get through to them" but what if his squad is clones as well and the chips... that hurts me so badly... -- Like we all know howzer is a sweet boy by now but ughhh like the thought that he doesnt want to leave them even though they are doing whats wrong shows just how much he cares and I really hope he doesn't get into trouble because of what he's saying to them, but you know he totally would do it because he seems to care about them so much and :( bad batch more like sad batch --- This is the kind of compassion I wanted from bb for crosshair hunter kind of looks back at howzer as they leave him and I doubt itll mean anything but I really hope that maybe seeing how much howzer cares will make hunter care a little too... - *sigh* howzer is getting left behind by them which we know why but yeah... now he's definitely going to be in trouble... I just hope they don't hurt him... - OH GOD HOWZER BABY DONT -- He's making a speech and I know he's trying to sway them but you know damn well this is gonna go so badly for him because of the chips and crosshair is watching so you know howzer is gonna get fucked here and I know what hes trying for but I really wish he didnt just do that because now its blatantly obvious he's gonna be against them ;-; - Wow ok im kinda shocked people are siding with him (I guess cause theyre not all clones right) but I feel so bad for themmmmm - Crosshair missed multiple shots? Uh what? I didnt think that was possible lol - bb please come back for howzer and the others at some point.... -- I guess maybe if hera's parents are going to organize rebels against the empire maybe they will help them but I somewhat doubt it... - Ok I know that crosshair requesting to hunt them was supposed to be this big moment and all but I

can't help but feel like its a little underwhelming (but dont get me wrong still cool vibes) because he's kind of already been doing that anyway?? Or has tried to several times?? So I don't get why its a big deal, however, I do have a possible prediction: We know that bb got their chips removed, (crosshair doesn't, I know that) and so that eliminates the idea that they will get caught and actually go bad like crosshair, but it does leave a possibility where maybe they get captured and then *pretend* to be bad? And that could lead to a better possibility of helping crosshair (they wont) or maybe howzer and the other rebels or something? Cause I also feel like its significant that they brought up how the war will eventually come to them and bb will be a part of it no matter what eventually, and it makes obvious sense theyd be on the rebels side of it, so maybe something like that goes on, idk.

genshin anon! finally lol. i keep meaning to respond - tab has been open with your last response for two weeks now... lol. oh i put a lot of work into my weapons. especially if i use them a lot. oo the 20k+ is nice though! apparently i have hu tao built semi decently so when she gets a vaporize crit it goes quite well for me haha. yeah agree. and they have updates every 6 weeks. yeah not every update is the biggest thing ever but like... its okay. no need to rush. game development takes time.

(2/5) oh oops I spend several hours a day on the game (when i have time). to be fair, i genuinely enjoy going into coop and finding lower ar people to help with bosses and world exploration and stuff. so i can spend a long time doing that. i know i appreciated the help when i was low. plus its fun to get to chat with others occasionally. oh yeah genshin def ripped off of botw very well lol. they took botw's complaints and went yeah i can fix that. but then made it gacha.

(3/5) i saw you say you have c6 noelle now lol. i am so so sorry ): you did get keqing though? was that on the banner? so are you guaranteed the banner character next beCAUSE ZHONGLI RERUN YES. oh yeah it was so cool seeing everyone! bennett and razor were just adorable i love that friendship. loved getting to see albedo again. hes like.. my fav and of course i missed him :/ rerun plz.. ahh yeah a lot of the claymores are more for their skills i guess. except razor. so i get that.

(4/5) i also tend to use the elemental stuff a bit more but just idk claymores are SO SLOW and im just not overly fond. oh yeah polearms do less damage ahha. i like their fighting styles though. theyre faster and just idk it just -works- for me. oh that is SO CUTE they wear friendship tassels )': ooo yeah the rosaria/kaeya/diluc trio is quite fun. would def love to see more of them! rosaria grew a lot on me over 1.4 and seeing her... not be so rude all the time... lol.

(5/5) also im super excited, i did end up pulling childe! IT WAS SO CRAZY. I DID THE MAGICAL TWO 5*S IN A ROW. mona decided to give me c1 because i can never win the 50/50 and then childe was like its okay i know youve been working your butt off getting everything ready for me so here you go <3 and like )': i love him lol his playstyle is so fun and he works great with hu tao. also got rosaria and fischl (who i didnt have) which is great! were you pulling on childes banner at all or just saving?

ALSO thoughts on the 1.5 stuff??? I haven't gotten to watch completely everything yet but it all sounds so good! Zhongli rerun!!! And the housing thing seems super cool? And lower resin for weekly bosses! New world boss too! All the events seem pretty interesting as well so I'm pretty excited! -genshin anon (pretty sure tumblr still only lets you send 5 anon asks an hour or else i would've added this earlier lol)

genshin anon. lol it's okay! everyone is free to like whatever characters they want! yeah diona is.. not involved at all. although she is getting a hangout in 1.5! might be the first one i actually do. her story is pretty sad though from reading all of her profile. yeah you with noelle was me with diona. i was so mad at her at first since i pulled her like... 10 times on xiaos banner. after i got over it i tried her out and now i love her. also its okay! i took like two weeks to respond :P

but omg how do you have tabs open for two weeks.... i get stressed if i don’t leave my computer with everything closed LMAO. i mean yeah it definitely makes sense to put a lot of work into weapons bc they can be used by multiple characters so they’re a good investment!! i should start thinking about that as well......

if i’m like really in the mood i can invest a couple hours but most days it takes some self-convincing to even log in asfjdkldsaj like once i’m in the game it’s fine but for some reason the action of opening and loading it up is like hmm.... also most days by the time i do get to play i’m so exhausted from work </3

omg that sounds fun!! personally i don’t like... playing with strangers that much afjdklasj so i tend to avoid co-op... but one of my friends might start playing genshin so i totally get what you mean about helping lower AR people with bosses and stuff because i wanna do that with her lmao :D

lmao traded botw faults for the gacha system... you really can’t have it all unfortunately </3 speaking of botw my friend got my the expansion past like. literally last year lmao i’ve been meaning to play it. ugh i’m just so behind in general on all video games unless it’s genshin lmao

sooo ruth and i watched the first hxh movie holla

me as soon as we’re done w/the yorknew arc: OH FUCKY ITS ANIME MOVIE TIME

i love anime movies. theyre so often Entertaining As Hell, and also Not Very Good. its a very fun intersection

overall this movie slots pretty easily into that category. it was a good time but nothing revolutionary. which is ok! and that makes sense bc its not canon apparently

this movie was basically the ‘killua and kurapika have Trauma(tm)’ movie lmao

we open w/killua having a trauma dream abt illumi, rehashing the stuff we saw in the hunter exam arc....we see this a few more times in the movie, and it really drives home how killua is still rlly scared of illumi and kinda just goes into a dissociative trauma state whenever illumi is around (even fake doll illumi or dream illumi, in this movie). poor kid :( :(

regrettably tho ruth and i agree that illumis outfit in this movie was pretty sexy

ok that whole beginning part where kurapikas eyes get stolen happens SO fast hvbfhdjshfsk its like ok guess thats the status quo for this movie!

jesus poor kurapika. they cant catch a fuckgin break huh

also that kid was totally the kid that was alluded to by kurapika at the end of the yorknew arc...so i guess that was included in the anime as a setup for this movie?

seeing a bunch of kurta was sad....and seeing baby-er kurapika OUGH and also pairo is sooo cute and him and kurapikas friendship is so pure

kurapika is so different :( theyre like, so much more innocent and excitable....thats so damn sad bro wtf

pairo pulling some slick moves swapping that little potion thing - all while using his blindness as a cover - was so good...no wonder he and kurapika get along so well

also gotta say its even more brutal that one of the main reasons kurapika didnt get Big Murdered w/the rest of the kurta is bc pairo pulled this stunt - if he hadnt, kurapika wouldve failed the test and never would have left

also kurapika saying theyre gonna find someone who can help w/pairos eyes ;_; the similarities w/leorios backstory/motivation makes me die

and seriously im still caught up at how innocent and pure kp is oooof ough

tho still defs the kurapika we know....theyve seemingly always had a temper, what with the reaction to the dudes in the market

like, kurapika did NOT hold back...even after finding out that they were just part of the test! tho i do get it bc they insulted pairo...kurapika’s love for their friends/stalwart need to defend their friends is clearly a big thing

also the market people’s reaction to seeing kp’s red eyes is rlly interesting to me...are the kurta like, known to anybody? or are they more of a vaguely talked-about group that like, ‘probably exists’? or is it that people know abt them but not the red eyes thing? it seems like these people, if any, would know, bc this market is seemingly a day’s travel from where the kurta live....i want more kurta lore bro!!

i big love pairo helping kurapika cheat like that....such an interesting twist, and makes it obvious that theirs is a friendship of equals

anyways i loved that flashback stuff and it just drives home how absolutely fucked up and horribly sad kurapikas whole existence is, especially in this movie w/pairo’s doll being used against them

i love that gon’s super nose returned for this movie omg

kurapika fighting pairo and killua fighting illumi (AGAIN) was all so fucked up they shouldve switched opponents for less trauma oof

but luckily we have gon here to help snap killua out of his trauma haze, which certaintly wasnt the case at the hunter exam - so it was kinda nice to see how things went w/gon around :’) they work so well together oughhhhh....and they love each other so much broo gay preteen love real

general thots:

so this was very much an Anime Movie, in that they cant like, advance to plot or develop the characters much, bc its a movie. and this one is non canon

it was enjoyable but i do feel like it was much more typical shounen then hxh usually is...like, i feel like this was made by the same people who make like, the naruto movies or w/e, and w/the same sort of approach/attitude

this isnt necessarily bad - i LIKE shounen for a reason - but it was a bit noticeable bc it wasnt quite as smart as hxh is usually, and it rehashed a lot of stuff weve already seen in this show itself

but still i think it did a good job w/what it had, and it had some good angst, and everyone was very gay which is good

the art style was SLIGHTLY wack but it wasnt as bad as i thought itd be

overall a fun time like most anime movies. didnt reinvent the wheel but i had a good time. im excited for the greed island arc, and im also disproportionately excited to watch the hxh musical bc that is a thing that exists and i MUST see it asap bc that sounds like the kind of hilarious wackiness that appeals to me specifically

OOh - tell me some of your headcannons for the egos?

Ohhh man oh man oh man- which one do i even start with..

I have a load of different HCS that fit certain different spins of how the egos are depending on one what kinda universe they are apart of..

For example, I have one about JJ- Where he was actually made mute by Shawn, except Shawn while his body was puppeted by the ink demon creature that resides within him. (Ive even RP’d a thing with a friend where Shawn’s ink counterpart forced ink into JJ and JJ ended up having his own alter ink persona called Cole.)

JJ is a bartender- and hes suuuper good at knowing exactly what someone will enjoy as a drink, call it a superpower, he hardly ever goes wrong when asked what he suggests they’d like.

(Also he has a pocket watch which contains the soul of an old man called Horace who likes to try and provide old man advice to the lad.)

And although hes a timey fellow, I actually HC’d his ablity would to be to control liquids, his veins in his wrists glow when he does it, its very fancy (and extremely pretty when he can make creatures out of water dance on the surface of the lake) However over use leads to him suffering an experience of drowning which can be rather dangerous and awfully scary.

JJ also has a huge fear of knives.

Also I picture him having silver tipped hair, which is just a touch long and flops in his eyes occasionally.

JJ Also suffers malnutrition because of his sore vocal cords/throat. It can be struggle to get him to eat!. (Did i mention I cannon him as selectively /half mute because he can still talk but its raspy and hurts to do so ? ^^’ )

Jackie

Jackie!! my ladd. Hes a great guy, buff, charming, super big sweetheart too.

He runs a couple of jobs, depending on where hes at which include: a comic book shop, a gym, or just sneakily hiding in plain sight as a gas station convenience store clerk.

I HC that his eyes are actually a blue tinted lilac, and glow gold.

He has a red patch in his hair!

Hes v v fast, and buff.

I also had this whole thing about him being able to create glowing golden orbs and if he makes enough of them he can basically make a clone out of orbs, and they copy what he does!

However, I’ve also always adored Phionex! Jackie, who lost his wings and desperately wants to grow them back but despite being reborn from ash they seem to still refuse to resprout.

Because of his inhuman nature, he runs really fucking warm! so hes like a human heater.

He gives real good advice, and the bestest fuckin hugs.

Also for some reason whenever I write him speaking he has a bit of southern in him?

Robbie

Robbie. Is the softest of lads, he drowns in his sweaters, and as a few autistic traits. Not a fan of big loud noises and crowds and loves soft things to nuzzle up against. Also big oral fixation, boi needs some chew toys. Hes a good lad, eager to help out and be around the other egos, but also quite the quiet type and happy to sit around at home in his piles of blankets.

Chase

I totally HC that Chase suffers from Chronic fatigue, which is part of why his depression got so bad and that he tries his best to make use of his energy. Poor guy can get real tuckered out when he pushes himself too hard.

He's always kept the lime green mess on the top of his head, though sometimes it gets more yellow then he means for it to get.

He has a tattoo dedicated to his kids hidden under his sleeve on his upper arm/shoulder. It's of some cool triangles. One in red for his son, one in purple for his daughter.

He does really well trying to maintain his bro average channel.

Anti

I kinda have a couple views on Anti, since I love cold asshole murder, and also the possibility of ships with a slightly more misunderstood but softer guy.

Hes got static blue eyes, that you’ll only see if hes being vulnerable or super tired that he cant maintain the scary green glow.

I have a HC that hes actually a missing part of Jacks soul, hence why he feels so unstable, incomplete and sad. Hes missing all the good bits that Sean has, and is left with a cold fragment of what he could really be.

However he has, and does murder. Though he attempts to murder those who have actually done wrong.

Very sassy and snappy. Takes alot to get to get to who he actually is.

On the other hand he can just be a fucking ruthless torturer and crazy sadistic asshole who has it out for nearly everyone!

Angus!

Survival hunter. Weird accent mix of Australian and Irish. Uses 'mate' 'oi' 'bag a few of them'

Has a trusty machette. And an epic bow which he's p good at using. Large knowledge of trees and animals and survival.

Wears alot of camo/brown stuff. Loads of pockets. Pocket knife/multitool Hair usually slicked back or messy.

Finger less gloves! Oceany more greeny pale eyes. Totally has some cool studs in his ears- maybe a little wolf fang in the side or something. Beard more like is soft and fuller and well maintained.

Freckles??? sunspots?? yes. Also toned n tanned Def has scars. On his neck, over his cheek and right eye. Plenty on his hands from burns and stings. Has some nasty ones on his ankle on his right foot from accidentally encountering a rouge set up bear trap- nearly lost his foot. Because of that theres sometimes a faint limp that's only kinda there when hes sick/tired.

Obviously wears boots.

Eats alot of trail mix.Loves his meat tho.

Also partakes in Woodcarving !!

Sometimes rather foolishly ignores when hes hurt.

Lost his right leg from the knee down to an awful incident with a hippo Has a prosthetic leg.

Also lost from his elbow down his forearm n hand to a Wedingo.

if he were to have a Home it would basically be a sanctuary. Like a huge property out of the way and secluded.. Nice and private.

HE HAS A St. Bernard. Big puppo- Called Baloo.

He grows some cool ass rare flowers, some homegrown vegtables n berries. Maybe even a cashew tree/apple tree. Plenty of shade but also fresh air.

He has solar panels too so hes basically not needing anyone asides the trip to the shop for like basics he cant acquire like soaps n milk n stuff.

Blank

My fucking. Boi.

Fricking soft boy, his aura is hard to control and sometimes controls him.

He has a rare heart issue which makes him prone to fainting and collapsing without much warning. Still, he tries.

He mumbles an awful lot, and has boughts where his aura ges really bad and he numbs out..(Usually in the corner of his room, everything dark, and loads of errie whispers..)

His aura can manifest into dead vines. He can also absorb other auras so they cant affect him/others!

Sometimes stray petals end up in his hair.

He’s truly trying to be a good lad, hes just a bit odd and misguided. He worries he’ll turn into a monster.

He fucking loves the moves Finding Nemo, and Finding Dory, because he can be very forgetful too.

Honestly, fav boi, should write more for him i just l ove him alot okay.

KOTS

Personally, I HC that the KOTS is actually called Simon. Occasionally i like to picture him with both ears and tail, but generally hes just a guy in glasses in a red sweater who is generally a little skittish and usually quite frazzled. However he actually isnt all that dumb, and has quite an extensive knowledge on the forests flora and fauna.

I did have a really mean HC that hes actually allergic to PB, but only in the sense that it upsets his tum, so like a lactose intolerant person, he eats it and regrets that later.

Also, he has a really nice hanging egg nest thing thats really cushioned and he loves to curl up and sleep there with a nice book.

He’s got really pretty amber eyes too!!

Edward!!

He fucking loves space!! and Secretly also is not that bad at painting. It's a soothing thing to do in his downtime.

His favourite treat is anything with white chocolate and raspberry.

Also, I quite adore my HC that he loses an arm- Either because of upsetting the heads of the household (Dark/Wilford) or because of a house fire.

(Also this isnt the place to mention it but I did once get excited about the idea of a Google/Edward fusion called Edware.)

Yandere

Nonbinary somewhat MTF.

They’re a real cutie. but they will punch dickheads without sweat and really just want someone to be their senpai and let them fall for them head over heels without running away..

They have an epic pink katana. Obviously a huge love for japan and its culture and stuff.

Quite obsessive, but it usually only endangers them for falling so hard that they hurt themselves trying to please their Senpai and beat themselves up over not being worthy or good enough for them when they dont get affection back or end up rejected.

Also yeah theyre into blood a little bit >.>

I kinda love the idea of shipping them with Bim and helping him get a supply of ‘meat’ in return Bim gives plenty of affections to satisfy Yans starved nature.

Once there was a boy!

I remeber - sitting on my grandpas knee - and feeling excited and thrilled because i new I was getting a present - every time we drove down to my granparents house - all i could think off was “presents”!!!

And it was usually chocalate or sweets - but in huge bundles...

How soo much easier those days were - 6,7,8,9,10 yrs old :D

Life was soo much simpler then....

I also remember the dreams and “DREAM” that haunts me too this day......

Well it doesnt soo much haunt me but is consistent....

It started for me age 14 - that was - for myself - when I “hit puberty proper” maybe its different for others - less years or more - that doesnt matter.

But thats when you start to define yourself.......

For me it started at age 14 - and comparing myself to my sister - and what i fealt deep inside...

That was when the dream started....

Was always the same... every damn single time... even to this day!!

Im walking through a forest - and its quiet - very quiet - and im looking around not really knowing what im looking for - I just know im looking for something...

Then I hear it - the breaking of branches - and the compressing off grass..

Something is out there and its stalking me - or watching me - from afar!!!

I’m small and im nervous - im also not anything definable ----

And I walk and i get faster and faster and faster - and the noises get heavier and heavier and faster and faster...

Then there is a smell - its very strong - and im not - I try to be strong - I try to stop running too.

But I cant --- and the noises and the beating of my heart - the smell -ALL- get stronger and stronger and more fierce....

Eventually I stop -- and I know im about to meet whatever it is thats been stalking and chasing me - watching me from afar...

And I try - ohhh how I try to bee strong!!!! but im afraid - im terrified!!

Then it happens - it always happens the same way...

A huge MALE STAG with mantles so large theyre glorious - walks out of the brush and stairs at me...

And I know im supposed to be MALE to BE A MAN and show it I’m in charge - im the boss - im the ALPHA!!! i’m the strong male....

But I cant - I DONT WANT TOO!!!!

And providence preserve me ive tried to be and end it differently - but it always ends the same way..

I’m not a doe deer - im not even human - what I am is a this GLORIOUS CREATURE COME BIRD - like a pheonix but with a huge PEACOCK TAIL!!!

And I FLUSH OUT MY PRIDE and its like everything else stops dead - including the HUGE MALE STAG - and i feel pride and self worth - and also a little shame!!!

Then I’m always running through the forest laughing and terrified at the same time...

That dream is rare nowadays but its the defining one of my life - and it still happens occassionaly....

How do I like to interprate it?

Well for me its simple and complicated - it means allot of things - it means struggle and fighting for whats in my soul - what it is to be the real me...

BUT most of all it means “I should be a pretty girl - and I should never give up”.

EPISODE 4: MY FAMILY MOVED AND MY NEW HOUSE IS ON A STREET CALLED SHADY LANE ~John

ok so........ tonight was awesome. we totally smoked nehe and his alliance. they honestly had no idea that logan had the idol. the only problem is that logan kept telling people that they knew they were being voted for. which i initially thought would throw a wrench in our plan to get out nehe, but it turned out fine. mostly i was worried that if they knew that logan knew, they would switch their vote to me. next time theyre most likely going for me, unless something changes. so we gotta get sara on our side, even though she voted for logan. we think we can trust her though, since we assume the vote that said "you really seem like a cool person but I've heard my name so this is what I have to do" was her, because we brought up her name to throw the others off.

anyways, im excited for everyone else to come online and see the mess they made by trynna vote off logan. and im excited to see how the next tribal council goes down now that they know its not gonna be that easy to knock us off.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL THAT WAS SO GOOD! Im so happy the vote went our way but now we need to regroup and get another person on our side. i'm hoping sara like sees that alex and john coffey can't be trusted since they flipped on us so quickly what would stop them from flipping on sara? We won the last immunity by more than double the other tribe. Thanks go out to DARIAN, SAM and NED. Everyone else is dead to me. Both BRANDON and CARSON said they would get stuff for the scavenger hunt and barely even spoke during the entire challenge. And we had two days for it. ELIJAH hasn't been around at all. We talked about breadsticks a few days ago but nothing since.

Right now, the 4 for $4 alliance are the only people I have any interest in working with. I will jump ship faster than the speed of light if there's a swap and I'm not with them.

At tribal LOGAN played an idol resulting in NEHEMIAH being sent home. Gotta give massive props to LOGAN, both for finding an idol and playing it properly. They are kick ass and I'd gladly align with them if I had the chance.

Now we've got a reward challenge where only one person gets to participate and CARSON volunteered because he's "bored". Maybe if you'd actually interact with your tribe you wouldn't be? I dunno maybe I'm just getting a little stir crazy and hoping for some more drama.

LOLOL WELP THAT PLAN DIDNT GO AS EXPECTED. Alex and I are such idiots, we didn't even pretend we weren't voting for Logan in the case of an idol. I didn't talk to them. I'm sure Alex didn't either. Oops!

Basically Alex and I were removed via Daisy from the bubblegum bitches after being called snakes. OMG THAT REMINDS ME. It's totally off topic but my family moved and my new house is on a street called shady lane. It just depicts how I feel about myself in this game but let's move on.

It sucks that Nehe was voted out and I feel kinda dumb for going out on a limb for him. Alex and I were quick to jump ship on the bubblegum bitches and maybe we should have thought it out but it is what it is. I tried to do as much damage control as one can do to three people I've just flipped on. Josh seemed understanding and so did Logan, understandably a little bit less. Not sure about Daisy, she's difficult to read.

Oof I also just got kicked out of the Bubblegum Bitches. I mean, can you really kick out an alliance where you were going 5-3. Hun you're literally leaving 4-3 next round, you just bought yourself one round.

So my alliance was talking about the forest and things they've tried and both SAM and DARIAN mentioned finding coconuts but with nothing under them. And I'm just sitting there laughing because I've already found the extra vote under the coconuts.

I don't plan on telling anyone about it but it's just so amusing to see them talking about finding nothing in the exact spot I found something. I'm very glad my intuition told me to go the way I did.

I am PRAYING that this challenge will mean a swap and I get to pick my tribes. I want Daisy, Josh, Sam and Ned all to myself. Gimme my friends.

TRIBE SWAP!

So, CARSON won the immunity challenge and then we had a tribe swap.

The new tribe has me, ELIJAH, DARIAN, and CARSON from old Andaman. From the old Nicobar we now have JOSH, STEVIE and ALEXANDER. So we have a majority if we stick with the original tribal lines.

However, I did that in my last game and I barely made the merge. So do I want to stick with the old Andaman? We'll see. It might be worth it to throw my vote to someone random and force a tie, see what happens then. Or maybe if we end up losing immunity I'll just swap and work with the Nicobar people.

All this depends on if we win or lose the immunity challenge though so all I can do at the moment is plant the seeds in peoples minds.

So we swapped and my tribe kinda sucks but idk I might be able to make it work? We also lost the challenge. I spent 2 hours of my life listing survivor plays from seasons 1-17 with placements into a google doc we didn't need to use :'D

Daisy personally scares the shit out of me now. Pretty sure she doesn't trust me with good reason cus I don't trust her anymore after what's been going down. Logan is in the same boat because they've both been in the forest idk wtf they could pull out.

I'm happy I have Sara, Sam and Ned, I feel like I can work well with them from past experience.

Sam has been giving me a lot of info about how daisy was spilling everything that happened at our last tribal. When we lost this round she was there telling me that Daisy was trying to convince them that I should be the one to go over Brandon, who didn't show up to the challenge. (I do not like to blame people for not being able to make challenges cus gurl I've been there but that challenge was stressful AFFF)

So I ask Daisy if she had any thoughts on the vote and she says "me and a few others have been talking and it's between you and Brandon" "You would be good to keep in for challenges but there are other factors. We'll get back to you"

Logan came to me this morning letting me know that they weren't a part of wanting me out so I know it's mostly just Daisy right now.

As long as they don't have a power and nor does Brandon, I think I should be safe. I really don't think Sara Ned or Sam would vote for me. I think I could be fine going forward too if we can win. I need a damn MERGEE

Do I even do confessionals? I always just complain in my host chat and then forget to make a real confessional. We swapped so that was extremely predictable but also pretty cool. I'm so glad to get away from that yawn of a tribe! I wish I had Keegan instead of Brandon but whatever I'll take what I can get. I love Logan and they said they snatched me right up so that could be good for me. I'm pretty sure the order that they released is the order that we were picked in which is extremely telling and I'm here for it. Obviously if we're splitting by tribes it's a 4-3 split with Nicobar having the majority. But I don't think that'll be how it happens. Daisy has no filter and literally just spilled ALL of the tea to me. I love it it's informational. Logan played the idol obviously which we all knew but Daisy was telling who voted with them and why some people voted for Logan just to be in majority and everything so like I'm guessing that's good for me? Either she's really friendly and talks to everyone or she likes (probably because Logan told her to) and wants to work with me.

Fuck this challenge tbh. If we lose I better not go because I hand picked this tribe (except John Coffey. Fuck you ya snakey bitch). If we lose, I'd like to see either Brandon or John go, preferably Brandon because WHERE IS HE. There's a reason I picked u last.

We just won immunity by the SMALLEST of margins. Both tribes got 50 points and we got a 2 point reduction of our score so we won by 2 points. JEEZ. that was so close. Im not really worried because we have the majority. That means that Sam Brandon and Ned have to go to tribal and they are most likely on the minority unless they found the wholes in the group. Its tricky. I hope they are all safe

So Daisy really wants to vote out John which I can see but I don't want him to go right yet. I think where he is the only one who voted against me left aside from Sara, we can manipulate him to work w us. But we'll see whatever the majority wants.

WHEW!! I came on very late to see that we swapped. I messed up and talked in the challenge. We won by 2 points. Me fucking up was almost the reason that we lost and i would have died oops

I'm safe, DARIAN is safe and we don't have to worry about tribal. On the other hand NED and SAM are in danger. They're in the minority, so I can only hope that LOGAN, who was in the minority on the NEHE vote, works with them. I'd hate to see one of them be voted out.

Unfortunately there's nothing I can do so I just need to wait and see what happens.

Oh, and STEVIE is kind of a dumbass. Comes out of nowhere asking a stupid question in the challenge chat that could have potentially cost us the game. It didnt, thank god, but it was still an incredibly stupid thing to do.

KK HIYA AGAIN. So we won immunity and afterwards i got to talk to alex one on one and i feel like there is deffo a possible alliance there. Like i wouldn't be opposed to working with alex like i legit have nothing against him but it was really nice getting to talk to him and like OK come merge if we are still alive by then i honestly might break away from the logan daisy and sara alliance and like stay with alex cause like...Idk it seems like more of a equal alliance then the other one did and like I KNOW ARE U SHOOK CAUSE WE ALL KNOW I AM #FEMINISTQUEEN but i will work with the mens this time cause i think it will help me out in the long run KK BYE XOXOXO

Sorry Brandon. You're my hebro, but in a time where you needed to be active, you weren't.

We worked so hard on that challenge, but unfortunately, the reward advantage came back and bit us pretty hard! We lost by two points, and at this point, it's pretty clear who's going home- Brandon. Everyone contributed in the challenge, ESPECIALLY Sam, Daisy, John, and me, but Brandon was completely absent the entire time. I really do like this tribe, and I think that Brandon going home should unify us. Sorry, Brandon :(
