charlie and michael are ~2 years apart in age, she was killed when she was 10, michael was 12, this was shortly after his younger brother died, i dont wanna get into why cuz thats a tangent abt william and his Things. so basically, michael's 12, his brother's dead, his best friend's dead, he's kinda curling into himself and then suddenly, like 5 years later, surprise, charlie's back. she didnt die??? but michael like- went to henry's house after a funeral didn't he? did he make that up? how else did he get her hair tie???

yeah, henry did some unethical shit, but who cares? william did worse so surely we can just- gloss over this. and that michael does, because HOLY SHIT CHARLIE'S ALIVE???? LIKE SHE DIDNT DIE???? (she did, just- she's back.) notably she feels like, sounds like, bleeds like a human. she's a human, and there is flesh that is very real, and- i made a post abt this literally earlier today abt the fact she's basically a meat puppet of a creature, but she's back! who cares! she got better

michael was also having a notably Not Fun time during those 5 years btw, 3 years later his little sister goes missing (dont question the timeline, i dont know if it works, i just thought of it and decided it was good enough) and so he's kinda dealing with the weight of that, his parents' marriage is crumbling and he's supposed to ignore that, and just life is getting Bad. so he becomes a total scumbag, really. (in turn, henry views him as a disappointment, and about as good as his father and this is important, it plays into things later)

famous last words. michael and charlie obviously catch up, start getting close again, charlie's told to stop hanging out with him, and she says "no im gonna keep hanging out with michael, youre a dumbass, dad", and this just means michael deals with worse shit for like the last year of his teens, cuz like the moment he's 18 his mom basically fucks off to nowhere (maybe like- washington? who knows. she could be in europe for all michael knows, he didnt keep in touch, she hated him!) and his dad like- kinda also disappears for long swaths of time but who cares abt him, michael's kinda happy abt that, and henry is just- harping on his ass for being a "bad influence" around his daughter who might start smoking or something because of him, the fucking... bastard??? he's a teen with trauma but who cares, its like- the 80s, everyone's kinda fucked up and doesnt care (joking)

but yeah, michael still refuses to stop hanging out w/ charlie cuz 1) homie's got a fat fucking crush and 2) no one tells him what to do. but yknow, charlie hears abt this, gets into a fight with henry abt it, nothing like comes of it but its put strain on their relationship ("oh but pyro its important charlie cares abt her dad" i like destroying canon, henry's a shit dad TO ME and charlie doesnt feel all that connected to him to begin with), and michael starts yknow- doing odd jobs, mostly customer service cuz he doesnt have a reason to fucking go back to freddy's yet because honestly?? why would he without someone like basically forcing him to

he gets an apartment and like by the time charlie's 18 she's moved in with him, theyre sailing pretty smoothly, and... henry cuts off all contact with charlie. she's not really fussed about it (and he's not dead) so it impacts nothing, just means theyre... on their own. but they manage for a couple years and then things get bad enough michael has to work at freddy's for a bit!!

Oh This Is Where The Nightmares Start

this is just where i put all the gore. no but michael decides to work a week at freddy's just for the little extra cash it'll give them, and yknow he talks abt how terrifying the job is to charlie and midway through the week they realize something...

there's something that shouldnt be there in those suits.

anyways he finishes the week, ends up fired for tampering with the animatronics, and then goes back after getting fired, scrapes out the whole- regrowing dead children inside the suits, and then like- he and charlie uh- "properly dispose of the bodies" (burn them in the woods)

yeah this solves the dead children thing, sorry. yeah this au is mostly abt them healing after the fact

and then they get a Call. from who? william Some Strange Random Guy who's like "michael, i'll give ya a tip about how you can find your sister" and michael is So Fucking Broken at this point he's like "yeah sure i'll work at an Afton Robotics Company to get answers"

.... he survives... gets attacked by ennard at his apartment, charlie saves his ass, but uh- yknow- the thing about humans is theyre persistence predators... and ghosts dont have bodies to worry about....

so yeah he gets fucking ripped apart one day in the most brutal of ways, charlie can really only watch, helpless, and then there's this like year? two year gap were michael's like- dead and a skin suit as far as charlie's aware, and she's kinda- fucked- and has to finally reach back out to her father- but eventually! michael turns back up!

Part 4: Corpse Era

OKAY COOL SO MICHAEL'S NOT DEAD, except he's totally dead, but there's no like- metal spaghetti monster in him and he's just- walking about like normal, the scar apparently healed so whatever reason he's alive charlie... doesnt know.... but yknow what? she isnt gonna question it they have greater worries

like a metal spaghetti monster, and also the fact No One Knows Where William Is, and thats kinda Why Henry Disappeared, so like.... yay??? but anyways everything after this is just general lore bullshit so let's get back to the fun stuff

after william's dealt with (burned to death, it works the first time, steel wool era doesnt exist to me solely because im not a Lore Expert and we have such little info rn it feels like id just slam myself into a glass wall), and ennard is... gone (yeah this is a plot hole, listen, i'll patch it soon, maybe it also dies in a fire real nice and easy like) charlie and mike are kinda- left to their own devices now figuring out what to do with their life and well.... they just make the best they can out of it. theyre stuck on the outskirts of society but... it's perfect to try and find a way to heal, to move on past... everything they've seen and had to do and.... yknow- maybe they'll get to be truly happy one day. not in any traditional sense but who needs things to be in any way traditional when your entire life's never been that

i do plan to write some fluff and really bulk out this last bit but for now its kind of nebulous and floaty in my head cuz i just- suck at writing endings that feel... whole and complete? but i think a sort of vague "things arent good but they'll get better" is all you can really ask for in a situation like this yeah?

so i envision it mid s5 pretty well into whatever danger will is in and mike and el are completely broken up. in this scenario its more of a thing like max where hes still himself just in danger of being tranced or something like that rather than s2 when he was possessed. (tho i dont think his danger will be the same as max’s. i think he has a deeper connection to vecna that will lead to a completely different kinda danger than what max was in.) anyways, the gang is all together and will is always being monitored whenever hes not in immediate danger just in case, similar to max. like 24/7 even when they sleep.

usually jonathan has this role but something else requires his attention so mike volunteers to keep an eye on will one night. they share a bed bc this is my vision and i make the rules and of course im only giving them one bed. as theyre getting ready to sleep mike seems visibly anxious and will asks whats wrong and mike just tells him that hes scared for him. i imagine this is the night before some big plan to defeat everything and mikes scared it wont work.

ive had this vision in my head for a while of them both in a quiet bedroom at night sitting on a bed and mikes talking about how ever since he went missing hes had such a fear of losing will for good and mikes silently crying. mike tells him “i saw your body. did anybody ever tell you that? when they lifted the fake body out of the water at the query, i was there. we were all there.” will didnt know this. mike tells him that the party rarely talks about all the upside down stuff when theres no danger present but they all have ptsd and nightmares. he tells him that their nightmares are about demogorgans and demodogs or the mindflayer or being shot at but mikes… mikes nightmares are just reliving the moment they lifted wills body out of the water.

mike tells him how the day he thought he was dead was the worst day of his life and how when he got him back he never wanted to let him go but then when the mindflayer got him he was so terrified of losing him again and he just has this terribly feeling that this time hes gonna be taken from him for good.

theyre both crying and will hugs mike super tight. a REAL HUG WITH EMOTION AND TEARS!!!! mike tells him “i cant lose you” and will says “im not going anywhere”.

eventually mike pulls away from the hug a bit but is still holding him. he rests his forehead on wills and stays there. will brings his hands up to his face and wipes his tears with his thumbs and leaves his hands there. mikes looking at his lips and its obvious that hes thinking about kissing him but hes not doing it because hes scared of risking their friendship and losing will in a different way.

then i love the idea of will knowing that mike wants to kiss him and he just nods and whispers “do it” and then mike kisses him.

mike pulls away but still leaves his face really close to his and hes kinda mentally freaking out and we can tell but will just smiles so big cuz hes so fricken happy and that instantly calms mike down and he kisses him again.

for train ride home, the way it was literally so corrupt but also so gentle really like 🧍🏾‍♀️🧍🏾‍♀️ made me speechless tbh. just the way you wrote him as a character. ive never read anything with that particular theme but its honestly one of my favorite things and maybe a small fantasy of mine... so to see it written about someone i think about quite often was really great. it also made me feel a little less weird about enjoying something like that.

for best friends, i really enjoy just the over all theme. its very much something i would do. the whole making a "mistake" and then pulling back. i think it was really relatable but also just the way you captured the jealousy of heeseung. the way that he got mad when the reader tried to do the same things he does. i genuinely wanted to smack him when he got all pissy over her wanting to go talk to the dude, but im glad he didnt let her.

for darling, i think i said this in my reblog but the end made my oral fixation go crazy. i write a little bit but theres a few things that im a bit nervous to write about, that being one of them. im not sure why, but like the whole falling asleep with it in your mouth thing makes me weak in the knees lmao

but overall i just really enjoy your work. while we obviously dont know heeseung in that particular light, i think that you write him in way that makes me think "oh yeah this makes sense" or "i could see him doing something like that". this makes reading so much more enjoyable cuz i feel like some people write without really connecting the theme/content with the person theyre writing for.

So first off

Best friends was just something I made on the spot with a ton of editing in between when I wrote his character for that I wanted to capture that uncertainty that so many men have when it comes to relationships as well as the female character being so in love with him that she kinda just takes what she can get and ends up making mistakes and hurting herself even more than he has I’ve seen this happen so many times before just without the happy ending and I also made his character with traits like a lot of guys In friendships where he kinda got the best of both worlds having a female best friend and girls on the side but he never really felt complete without the female lead

Darling there’s not much to say not gonna lie to you I was just in a moody mood when I wrote that it’s pretty short but definitely gets the point across if you’re into that kind of thing I’m glad you feel less weird about liking those things cause to me it’s not weird at all and just so you know I know more people that are into that than I can count on fingers with both hands

love that you mentioned being nervous to post some things cause so am I like there are themes I made but they will never see the light of day just cause they are a bit out there and I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable plus y’all don’t need to know everything that goes on in this brain of mine

I do try to go outside the box with my writing I don’t read a lot of fanfics but I think a lot of my concepts and writing style has not been done before so I try to spice things up and keep it interesting I incorporate a lot of smut but I feel like In some of my stories I built a foundation that will make readers comeback or ask for a part 2 cause even though there’s smut in it I developed the characters well enough to where you want to see more little off topic but stories like “angel” or “train ride home” are themes I’ve never seen done before that and everyone seemed to really enjoy those so my mind runs miles trying to come up with new ideas

Heyooo Author!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Ive come back dead to tell you that Ive finished reading tge Villainess Reverses the Hourglass up til chapter 103 of the webtoon. The website I use only has tgat amount of chapters & Im not too sure if its the last chapter, but Ive decided to stop there. Anyways IT WAS AMAZINGGGG THE SCHEMING, THE ART, THE REVENGE MWUAHAHHAHA IT WAS CHEF'S KISS😘😘😘

HOWEVER I DO HAVE SOME NITPICKING IF YOU DONT MIND. I wished it showed more of the prince's side, like it kind of implied that he was murdered (?) or at least had similar circumstances w/ MC except Lady Isis killed him? Idk I wanted more of him showing him scheming against her & esp his villain side too LIKE THE ONLY TIMES WERE WHEN ISIS WAS ABT TO DIE AND W/ MIELLE WAS IN JAIL FOR HER DEATH COME ON I WANT MORE SCARY ASTEROPE PLSSSS🙏🙏 *cough* EHEM I also like how they showed more of MC's mom near the end & how she cared for her despite of their circumstances. Now that I think abt it I think she was trying to protect MC in her subtle way throughout the webtoon like during mealtimes & when MC's life was in danger. Uhh what a great mom.

For some of the other side charas I would of prefered that they showed at least a few panels of Jessie & Hans(MC's childhood friend?) interacting & more of the former having newspapers in her hands since she bought them from him in the background as a reminder that he exists cuz at times he just popped out pf nowhere & I had to remember who he was. ALSO I was kind of confused w/ how MC was related to the imperial family like I know who her father & grandmother were but like does this mean that MC & Prince Asterope are… COUSINS??!?!? (Personally for my sake I just headcannon that they're very VERY distant cousins)

Lastly Imma bout to tell you how I felt for Mielle's death. Ngl at first I was excited to see how the revenge would play out but at the end when she saw her brother die bc of her AND when MC revealed her plan to Mielle inside her jail, I felt PITY for the poor girl. It felt like a tragedy in the pov of the antagonist, which kinda makes MC & Mielle literally have reversed their roles esp w/ the events that led to Mielle's death. It IS the whole point of the story but I think the reason why I pitied her & in extension MC was bc of them being manipulated by beings more knowledgeable than them and their childish stupidity. Imo, had Emma, Mielle's maid & practically her mother figure, not instilled to her that she's much better than MC & thinking MC was basically trash, they couldve had the happy life Mielle envisioned right before her death. when aether did get home to you, he cleans himself and then slowly walks to where you are. he stands there for a while, looking at you admiringly. he then walks to you, careful to not wake you. once he did get closer to you, he kissed your forehead and laid down next to you.

you woke up and heard the boy settling in. you turned to him. he looked surprised that you woke up, he thought he was being careful! "aether, dear. how was your day?" you asked him softly, running your fingers through his hair. "it was okay i guess though, a lot of people still kept asking me to do simple things like delivering letters or flowers. to be honest, it's getting quite annoying, [name]" he replies with a sigh.

OK I WILL DUMP A LITTLE BIT HERE.... no specific order or anything i am just typin whats coming into my head (also they would gladly accept a little kisskiss on da head i should doodle that sdhfjksdgfs)

its like. hard 2 tell cuz all grunts Look Like That but spectre in their grunt form is sort of more like the vague shape of a person? like in grunts eyes it would be like seeing a glowing figure whose features are difficult to comprehend and such

when they were living they didnt have much experience with fighting (honestly probably a little clueless in general), but they learned a lot just from trial and error with their new form

im still not sure in canon what determines if a grunt just goes to hell / the other place or becomes a ghost in canon, but in the spectre cases this was probably the result of some sort of experiment

speaking of, he has no memory of when he was alive Before this happened- he just knows his original body is gone and hes just Like This Now

also conveniently forgot their name too i totally am not using that as an advantage to not having to come up with one <3 ppl just refer to them as "the spectre" and it sticks for them they go "oh ok im spectre now i guess" (but they would probably be ok with any kinda nickname given to them)

as the spectre he feels "numb" and cant really feel anything, and forgets what things feel like, so when he gets a chance to actually touch things and stuff he gets kind of thrown off- especially with passive physical contact (his favorites texture is soft/fuzzy things whenever he gets to touch stuff again)

if the pain is ever too much when hes possessing a body hes just straight up like Yeah No Thanks and just gets out of there. let that guy deal with it

i like to think of this as a sort of "littlest hobo" situation just cuz of the spectres thing being possessing new bodies and getting caught up in madness/improbability A Lot- so theyre tossed from situation to situation quite often (they manage to get used to it and work against it but since you can never predict what the hells gonna happen in nevada...)

other than just accidentally wandering everywhere their main goal is to just find someone to help them and fix this, at least give them a permanent body

they dont really get the help theyre expecting, theyre hired to do a few missions for someone instead and in exchange they might get their best attempts at help (no <3)

despite all the shit they go through, theyre actually very chill and well-meaning outside of fighting and pretty polite. and very lost. and they probably have a few identity issues (they do sometimes snap / get annoyed / overwhelmed but they snap out of it pretty quick)

they just. really want to be on peoples good sides even if theyre clearly an enemy or just really want to kill them

OUT OF PLACE AND NOT TOO IMPORTANT BUT I JST REALIZED I NEVER BROUGHT IT UP.. they are demiboy + panromantic and use they/he pronouns +] (all of the body-hopping prompts them to explore their gender a bit more and they decide on the label as the spectre)

they usually dont have a body of their own, obviously they more often posses one and use it to their advantage in the current situation, but sometimes they do posses a body and stay in it for a little longer (and in a happy ending, they keep one but are still separate from it and can leave it whenever they want)

those bodies dont have a 'host' though- they arent dead, its difficult for them to posses a dead body, but in a hc of mine Very New clones are not really living when they are first created, so theyre basically just like a free body for them (though of course pre-happy-ending they dont stay for long anyways)
