Na escola, sua paixão pela ciência também era eclipsada, uma instituição que seguia uma órbita religiosa, frequentemente distorcendo fatos científicos ou históricos, o que causava frustração em Yasar.

A gota d'água foi quando seu pai lhe apresentou uma foto e um nome, a imagem de sua futura esposa. O casamento, um acordo selado entre as duas famílias, foi imposto a ele aos quatorze anos, um destino já traçado nas estrelas. No entanto, Yasar não aceitaria ser aprisionado. Mesmo muito jovem, arranjou um emprego e começou a traçar sua rota de fuga daquela prisão, almejando um caminho no espaço científico.

Embora não pudesse evitar o casamento, Yasar encontrou um raio de esperança. À medida que a união lhe concedeu algum controle sobre sua vida, ele escolheu a astronomia como sua órbita principal, transformando sua paixão em sua profissão. Seus estudos rapidamente deram fruto e ele foi convidado a trabalhar em um dos centros de pesquisa da Turquia. No entanto, a influência da família ainda o prendia.

A honra do convite o seduziu, já que trabalhar para a realeza parecia ser o ponto culminante de sua carreira, uma órbita que muitos pesquisadores desejavam alcançar.

Contudo, Yasar não esperava que, ao assumir o cargo, sua função se resumiria a iluminar os céus noturnos para nobres distraídos. Embora o salário fosse o triplo do que recebia antes na universidade, a frustração se acumulava em sua alma. A rotina monótona de interações sociais vazias ou a solidão enquanto observava o firmamento não eram o que ele esperava daquela posição.

No momento em que a seleção foi anunciada, trazendo uma nova onda de pessoas para Versalhes, Yasar viu uma oportunidade de brilhar novamente. Ele decidiu revelar o poder e o encantamento do universo, mesmo que isso incluísse demonstrações dramáticas de estrelas explodindo e meteoros colidindo. Como um cometa destemido, ele estava determinado a cativar o novo público com o esplendor do espaço.
