Perhaps there was comfort to be found in their conversations , throughout the little barbs and disagreements. AFTER ALL - Basim was hardly ordinary himself , and there were so few moments he came across someone who could understand.

BY DESIGN OF COURSE , he's been careful about who he lets close - but given where he was now , limbs entangled with Eivor's ; Basim had clearly not been careful enough. It was something he would likely ponder on later , when he was alone , fireside. OR IN HIS DREAMS , where Loki pulled at his mind and mocked him. How curious fate was turning out to be. "I will however take it as truth from your lips , you rarely lie to me, Eivor."
