My first and forever moot. You are literally my favorite reader ever, with reblog compliment skills only rivaled by yours truly, as a writer I love you and your feedback endlessly. You’re always so supportive and encouraging, I really cannot be more grateful.

BUT as a friend, i love you for everything you do. The way you love the world and share your joy with everyone. The way you put yourself out there to write stories yourself, and i’m so lucky that you choose me to share them with <3 You are so so beautiful and wonderful and lovely in more ways than the most imaginative person could even imagine. I’m eternally grateful that the universe let our paths cross so that we can discuss moving to a little cabin in the woods to raise all our kids and dogs.

Mara twisted strands of hair between her fingers , frowning. He knew this was a mistake, should’ve grabbed that stupid mole rat cure while he had the chance.

“Why didn’t you see a doctor?”

“They don’t know anything! Useless bastards didn’t know what was wrong with him.”

“Why wait so fucking long then?”

A question he asked himself every day, still unable to give an answer. He was a coward. He ran from his problems. It was easier to waste away at a bar than to be a father. No wonder his parents dumped him in Little Lamplight.

She didn’t wait for an answer, ripping the map from his hands.

The nightmares slowed only for a moment. Eventually, not even the calming effect he gave her stopped.

She wiped the tears away, and continued to get ready. Kaidan grabbed her hand gently, pleading her to talk.
