Hi my love, just wanted to send you some holiday cheers and share some childhood memories 🎄

As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, I can only talk about christmas, my absolute favorite holiday! I still love the atmosphere around christmas and all the lights and the music 🥰

As a kid I went to church with my grandma on christmas eve while my dad was preparing the meal and wrapping the gifts. He would let us know everything was ready by turning the lights on at the front porch. As a kid I believed that we weren't allowed at home because Santa was bringing the gifts during that time and only my dad was allowed to be home and he let us know when Santa was off again. Even though we sometimes had to wait for a while in the snow I couldn't care less, because I was just so excited and thrilled and I loved it. Even after I discovered Santa wasn't real I didn't care waiting for some time, because I knew my dad just wanted to make everything look beautiful and festive 🎄

First let me say I’m so sorry it’s taken me a bit to respond!!! It’s been a crazy last few weeks!!

Thanks so much for the holiday cheer!! ☃️🎄… Christmas is my 2nd favorite holiday.. Halloween 🎃 is my first favorite ~ I love being able to dress up as a character and be someone different even if only for a night. I think it started mostly due to taking drama classes in high school! To this day I love to being around kids and using different voices when reading them a story !

I loved reading you childhood memory, thanks for sharing it with me. I think it’s so cool that even after you learned about Santa 🎅 you still went along with it, even though you were cold 🥶 letting your dad enjoy his tradition with you is something special!

One of my favorite holiday childhood memories was on Christmas Eve… my brother and I each got to pick a movie to watch. I got to go 1st (one of the few times being the youngest was worth it) I got to help pick the snacks get what ever comfy blanket I had at the time and we would all sit around to watch them. Then before bed we each got 1 gift to open (usually a set of pj’s) but on occasion it was a toy. As I got older my parents split up but we still got to have the same Christmas Eve tradition no matter which parent we were with on that actual day. It was the one thing they could agree on ~ lol.

Well now I probably have bored you with this so I’ll end it now. I hope you had a relaxing weekend and end up with a great week ahead! @wanderlust-in-my-soul

Hi Guys! 👋

How was your Christmas?? 😄🎄

My Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin came to stay for Christmas! I had to give up my Room for them, so I had to sleep in my Sister’s Bed! XD

We woke up and opened Gifts: I got a Barbie Bag, Socks, Leg Warmers, Coins, and This Odd-Looking Package! 😁🎁

Then we went to My Grandparents’ House; My Cousin wanted me to play with him outside, but most of the time it felt like being yelled at and insulted by an Army Captain— XD

Then we had a Big Christmas Lunch! It was Delicious! 😋

I also found out that my Wally Darling Plushie was on it’s way!! 🥳

But it was supposed to Arrive on Christmas… Maybe Shipping from the U.S. to the U.K. Was taking a little longer than it should have!😅

Then we went back Home, and played a Christmas Monopoly my Cousin got for Christmas! He got so annoyed at me counting how many squares I needed to jump, he started a Full Argument with me! XD

He somehow managed to get his Mum to take his side by also spouting lies about how I was “Treating Him Horribly The Whole Day”….. Maybe that’s just how Kids His Age Act! 😅

Anyways: We then had a Big Christmas Dinner! It was Delicious! 😋🍱

Then we went to Bed! 🛏

And That’s My Christmas! 🎅🏼
