Ron is a bit upset and feeling silly that Toto has left the bed that Ron has decided he must have grown a platypus beak!!! Besides, today is April Fool’s Day! <<— Semi-joking there because this is what/how the skit feels like.

Ron: (running to Toto anxiously) This is tough. Take a look, Toto! When I woke up, I grew a beak! Damn it! I can’t get it off! Quack!!

Lucero Symphomia, a former child star who took a sudden leave 4 years ago, is rumored to have reappeared in the famous magician’s school of NRC!

The now 19-year-old shook the opera world when he left his small town of Monolith Village to perform at one of Twisted Wonderland’s largest opera houses at just 12. His performance, which was just his debut, granted him multiple awards and a large fan base of hopeful fans. His existence proved to them that childhood fantasies can easily become reality.

Like a phantom, however, he disappeared as quickly as he arrived. During a country-wide tour, the young countertenor failed to arrive at a meet-and-greet (much to the disappointment of his fans). Almost without notice, his performances were cancelled, and his family announced an emergency that called the star back home. Rumors on popular chat sites spoke of the young man being attacked by a sudden stranger on his way to the event. Even a supposed nurse on one of the sites says to have been at the hospital Symphomia was at. Skeptic users, however, dismissed them. That was the last time the world had ever seen the actor’s face.

That is, until now.

In a photo provided to us from an anonymous source, the image depicts what appears to be an older Lucero in the NRC’s uniform. Looking closer, his face also is hidden by a mask.

Please tell us about the secret story behind the production of the final episode.

最終話の制作秘話を教えてください。

Finishing and shooting lasted all night for about three days, and it seems that I could see hallucinations by the end of it (laughs). I am relieved that we were able to broadcast the content that we were able to show. The trick that the passcode to unlock the missile is "HEART" was thought up by Naohiro Fukushima, in charge of screenwriting. I think the highlight was the scene where Joker writes his name on the spaceship and tells Phoenix, "Be sure to come back." I wonder when he wrote the name, but in the shot of the spaceship just before this scene, the name is obscured by light to disguise it. So the name was already written at that point.

最後は仕上げと撮影が3日間くらい徹夜して、幻が見えたそうです(笑)。なんとかお見せできる内容で放送することができて、ほっとしました。ミサイルの解除パスコードが「HEART」というトリックは、脚本の福島(直浩)さんが考えてくれました。ジョーカー的には宇宙船に名前を書いて「必ず返しに来い」とフェニックスに言うシーンが、見せどころだったと思います。いつの間に名前を書いたのかと思いますが、そのシーンに入る直前の宇宙船が映るカットでは名前を誤魔化すために光を入れて見えなくしています。なので、あの時点ではすでに書いてあるんですよ。

There is a scene in the end of episode 50 where Spider Ace protects President D from a sniper's bullet and shows him the "DF" ring on his left hand, saying, "I have sworn my allegiance to President D." When the first picture came in, the ring on Spider Ace's middle finger was forgotten, so I asked for the picture to be redone and a ring to be added. Then somehow, I ended up with a picture of Spider Ace with the ring on his ring finger (laughs). The staff around me and I laughed hysterically and rushed to have it fixed.

第50話のラストでスナイパー幻魔の銃弾からプレジデントDをかばったスパイダー・Aが、「オレはプレジデントDに忠誠を誓ったんだ」と左手の《DF》の指輪を見せる場面があります。最初に絵が上がって来たときスパイダーAの中指に指輪を描き忘れていたので、リテイクで指輪を追加してもらったんですよ。そうしたらなぜか、スパイダーAの薬指に指輪がはまった絵が上がって来てしまって(笑)。周りのスタッフたちと大爆笑しつつ、慌てて直していただきました。

I wanted to depict how Spider Ace came to be loyal to D. I liked Spider Ace and Detective Wolfe in the original story, and I really wanted to have Detective Wolfe appear in episode 35, but there was no room for him, so I gave up on the idea. I am glad that I was able to create an interesting combination with D and Spider Ace, but I also wish I could have drawn those two in the story. With Dai Sato, who is in charge of the series composition, I was also thinking about a story about Dr. Neo's astronaut days. When he was young, he had a moment when he saw a spaceship that was disguised as a comet for a moment due to the influence of a solar flare, and from that moment he came to believe that aliens existed. It was a shame that we couldn't depict it. Neo knew Silver when he was young, and I wanted to depict that with Purple as well.

スパイダーAがDに忠誠を誓ったキッカケを描きたかったです。スパイダー・Aは原作でのウルフ刑事とのコンビが好きだったので、本当は第 35話でウルフ刑事も登場させたかったのですが、入る隙間がなくて諦めました。そのおかげでDとスパイダー・Aという面白いコンビが出来たのでよかったという思いもありますが、あのふたりも描きたかったという気持ちもあります。シリーズ構成の佐藤大さんとは、ドクター・ネオの宇宙飛行士時代のお話も考えていました。若かりしネオが太陽フレアの影響で一瞬だけ彗星の変装が解けた宇宙船を見た瞬間があり、そこから宇宙人はいると信じるようになったという設定だったのですが、これも描けなくてもったいなかったです。ネオは若い頃のシルバーとも顔見知りなので、パプルも交えてその辺りを描きたかったですね。

Finally, please tell us what "Kaitou Joker" means to you, Director Teramoto.

最後に、寺本監督にとって『怪盗ジョーカとは、どんな存在なのかを教えてください。

For me, it is a special work that fulfilled my dream of directing an animated TV series. I myself have loved anime since I was a child, and even now as an adult, there are many works that I still remember as my favorites. There are still many stories I would like to tell from the original work, and if there is an opportunity, I would love to do a sequel. The staff also said that they would like to do a sequel, so I feel that "Kaitou Joker" is a work that is truly loved by everyone.

私にとっては、TVアニメの監督をやりたいという夢が叶った特別な作品です。私自身も小さい頃からアニメが好きで、大人になった今も好きだったと思える作品がたくさんありますが、アニメ『怪盗ジョーカー』を観てくれた子どもたちも大きくなり、いつかジョーカーたちを思い出すことがあるのかなと思うと、すごく感慨深いです。まだ原作でもやりたいお話がたくさんありますし、機会があったら続編もぜひやりたいですね。スタッフも「続編がやりたい」と言ってくださっているので、『怪盗ジョーカー』は本当にみんなに愛されている作品だと感じています。

I just found out that Yoshitsuga Matsuoka is singer and I went to Spotify to see if there's song's he's in or he sing himself and I spot a playlist of his songs, voice works and voice drama then I been sitting there just listening to them for 3 hours and half and I found my two favorite songs from him I absolutely love them now I just hear Kazuto/Kirito voice singing them now

僕らの雨色プロトコル（５～１２話）感想

WCS終了後、リーグ再編の話題でショック受けたり単に気力が尽きたといった理由で年末までたなざらしになっていた僕らの雨色プロトコルだが、残りのエピソードを一気に見たので通しての感想をざっくりとまとめていきたいと思う。

ネタバレを含まない圧縮感想

あまり前例が無いジャンルを扱った作品だったけれど、ちゃんと着地できたように思う。

競技シーンの描写も、個人の知りえる範囲の話としては明らかにおかしいとは感じなかった。

他人に見て損はないみたいな薦め方までは行かないが、競技シーン見てるおじさんの好みで言えば結構楽めた。

以下はネタバレになる可能性がある感想

話のペース

１～４話のチーム結成から初めての大会に至るパートは、ふわっと見通しが立たない印象だったが、４話で瞬の対極にある登場人物として睦生が登場してからは話の展開が分かりやすくなって良か��た。これは睦生が外部の人間として非常に冷酷な視点で瞬を取り巻く状況について視聴者にも説明してくれるという点が大きかったように思う。途中で描かれるいくつかの話題（恋愛模様など。チームに恋愛持ち込むのは厳禁！）はなあなあなのだが、主人公の物語としては本題ではないので全12話で解決するべき課題をやりきるためには、彼らの未来はまだまだ長いという点を加味してとりあえず保留だよないう感触。

睦生くんが非常に良い

瞬の対極にあるキャラクター、だいたいこういう人物は主人公が押し込めている欲望や”やるべきではないと思っているラインを超えた存在”として表現され、シャドウとか負の自己実現と言われる類型に当たるのだが、睦生はその点でかなりポイント高かった。ゲームをより高い水準でプレイするためにあらゆる邪魔なものを捨てた存在で、同じレベルに達する可能性を秘めた瞬に同じサイドの人間になろうと何度もアプローチをかけてくる人物だ。個人情報とかめちゃくちゃ割ってくるので病んでるまである。そんな彼だが、声が松岡禎丞なのが素晴らしい。SAOのキリトのような主人公から、Reゼロのペテルギウス・ロマネコンティのような怪人まで演じているベテランが、時に全裸で瞬を思いながらうっとりと独白したり、あるいは絡みつくような粘着質を感じさせる演技でゲーム以外の全てを捨てるように瞬を誘うシーンのインパクトは中々のモノである。その演技と立ち位置の関係から、睦生が果たした役割は非常に大きかったと評価する。

対比の繰り返し

自分自身と家庭との関係に問題を抱えながら、eSportsの世界に進むかどうかの岐路に立つ主人公の物語なので、二つのルートが提示されてからはその対比が繰り返し描かれることになる。簡単に言えば、「周囲の力を借りて問題を解決しながら一つ一つ進んでいく」VS「一足飛びにeSportsの世界に飛び込むために邪魔な周囲・特に家族を捨てる」という構図になる。睦生が登場して以降の雨色プロトコルはこの対比をけっこう丁寧にやっていて、チームの仲間との交流と睦生からの周囲と縁を切れという勧誘が交互に繰り返されるようになっている。細かいところで言えば食べ物の選択などにも見られたし、本題である家族関係でも同様だ。睦生のパートは毎回細かく（ストーカー技術で）調べた瞬の過去や家庭事情や家族との関係を好き勝手に暴露して、視聴者に何が問題になっているのかを解説してくれるという構成になっているのもいい仕事だと感心した。睦生はそういう問題を全部放り投げろと囁くが、視聴者にはそこが乗り越えるべき問題だと提示しているわけだ。

競技シーンの描写

そもそもずっと特定のシーンを見ている視聴者向けのアニメではないので、このぐらいまで描かれれば十分ではないかという感想。スタート時点だとだいぶ見通しが怪しい印象だったが、中盤以降は運営からの資金援助（最低賃金保証のため）が行われるリーグの創設やそれに伴うチーム選抜リーグの実施、2シーズン制の運営や優勝賞金（LJLよりシーズン優勝の賞金は高かった）の解説などにも簡単に触れられていた。このアニメを見る人のほとんどはeSportsのシーンについてそんなに興味が無いだろうから、これでも情報は多かったはずだ。また、主人公たちがどのくらいの強さに位置付けされるのかもだいぶらしいラインに収まった。最初の大会はデータ無しのチームが長く一緒に遊んでいた時期のコミュニケーション能力で勝ち抜いたものの、試合を重ねるごとに相手チーム側に情報が渡って勝てなくなり、そこで5人が集まっただけの寄せ集めとプロチームでは何が違うのかを知り強くなる…….という流れはそれらしさがあった。意図したわけではないだろうけれど、寄せ集めの5人に女性コーチがビシバシ指導して強くなるシーンを見て今年のEG Potter！？ってなったのは内緒だ。

eSportsのアニメとして

本作、話の中心を貫いているのは進路を選ぶ年齢に差し掛かり、岐路に立つ少年が家族との問題をどう解決するか？なので、別にeSportsじゃなくてもほとんどあらゆる題材に差し替えることはできる。スポーツでも音楽活動でもマインドスポーツ類でも似たようなプロットは組めるだろう。一方で、eSportsを選ばない理由というものがあるわけではないし、eSportsだからできたというポイントもある。身体能力を直接比較するスポーツだと男女混合の上で同じステージで競うというのはちょっと難しい。もちろんフィクションでは超自然な何かを挟むことで互角以上というのは普通に行われる（バトルでは特に）ことではあるけれど、ゲームであればリアル寄りでもフラットに扱いやすい。このあたりは遊戯王のようなホビーのアニメにも似たところがある。根本的な話でいえば、eSportsという括りが雑すぎるとか（格闘、シューター、MOBA、レーサー、五輪etc…はそれぞれ全く異なるので）指摘はできるだろうが、新しい題材の作品の一歩目としてはまずまず悪くなかったのではないかという結論だ。格闘ゲームの方だと『ハイスコアガール』なども既にアニメ化されているし、シューターの競技シーンに触れたアニメとか、MOBAっぽい競技シーンに触れたアニメ（全職高手）がそれぞれ後に続く作品が出ると良いなあと夢想しながら2023年のアニメ感想を締めたい。
