焼山寺/徳島県神山町【四国八十八箇所霊場第12番札所】遍路転がしと恐れられる急勾配の先へ

焼山寺とは摩盧山正寿院焼山寺（まろざん　しょうじ��いん　しょうさんじ）は徳島県名西郡神山町下分字地中（とくしまけんみょうざいぐんかみやまちょうしもぶんじちゅう）にある四国八十八箇所霊場第12番札所だ。本尊は虚空蔵菩薩（こくぞうぼさつ）焼山寺山（標高938メートル）の8合目近くにあり、四国霊場で2番目に高い山岳札所。剣山や白髪山など四国山脈の山々がひろがる眺望はすばらしい。四国霊場には「遍路ころがし」といわれた札所がいくつかあるが、焼山寺もその一つで、昔から嶮しい坂道の難所を辿る「修行の霊場」であった。摩廬山正寿院焼山寺 – （一社）四国八十八ヶ所霊場会から引用焼山寺徳島県名西郡神山町下分字中318 088-677-0112 (more…)
