My amazing friend finished the commission of my hell cat witcher, Dessi with full toxicity all the way up!! For a witcher, Dessi is sensitive to witcher potions so who or whatever made her decide to chug that many down should probably run but they will die tired.

Be as greedy as you want as I really love the asks and had so much fun writing this!!! I even decided to write my newer oc, Min, in this along with Dessi. 💙💙💙

3.Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)

Dessi x Dettlaff: Dessi is notorious in stealing Dettlaff’s undershirt and wearing it around their home. Mainly for the smell of Dettlaff but to also argue that Dettlaff doesn’t need to wear any shirts around her *wink wink* and Dettlaff is just simply amused at her antics, but also very much roused in seeing her wearing what’s his and often eyes his witcheress with a bit of hunger. Dettlaff often keep one of Dessi’s spare shirts when she goes out for contracts for some time. Usually to keep on the pillow as he sleeps to comfort him.

Mineara x Dettlaff: Min likes to bundle up in the heavy black coat that our handsome bat is known for sporting, especially in the cool weather even though she can use a spell easily to keep her own warmth. She can be found many times in her little roost in her keep, bundled in the coat as she reads any recent publishing of any research on magic and such. Dettlaff likes to sneakily steal the ribbon that Min uses to keep her hair up. Oftentimes she relents and ties the ribbon around one of the many buckles on his coat, or his wrist before pulling out another ribbon to put in her hair(she already keeps many spares due to a certain thievin plumard).

56.What do they do turn the other on/put them in the mood?

Dessi x Dettlaff: Dessi is a big tease and knows certain touches will rouse Dettlaff up. Slow kisses leading to Dessi threading her fingers in his hair and slowly tugging on them always get’s Dettlaff started, especially if she moves to kiss his neck right below the jaw line. Just when Dettlaff thinks to start to reciprocate, Dessi quickly dismisses herself to do a random chore or workout. Leaving Dettlaff pouty but planning his move later. They go back and forth with the game till one has enough and leads, or carries the other to the closest private location. If they happen to spar after Dessi has teased Dettlaff one too many times, he likes to pin her to get his prize.

Mineara x Dettlaff: Min is a bit more direct with getting Dettlaff in the mood. If he is sitting down doing something, Min likes to squeeze her way to sitting on his lap and taking his free hand to massage, kissing his hand before leaving slow kisses on his sensitive inner wrist, shifting herself on his lap just enough to get his attention before looking innocently up at him. One time she stole his coat and when he found her in their room, he jokingly asked for it back and she did a slow tease of revealing that she wore nothing beneath the coat which left Dettlaff torn of needing to draw her and needing to ravish her with the coat still somewhat on her. Dettlaff his a very handsy person and knows if he can sneak a hand under Min’s shirt and tease over the skin right above her trousers while standing behind her will automatically get her squirming which he uses his other hand to pull her hips to him as he whispers sweet things right into her ear. Whatever task she is doing can be definitely be done later.

My girl, Dessi, is a headbanger rocker through and through. Her auto shop is always blaring out what she considers the best music ever. It’s the best way to get her in the groove to get the job done and she only really jams to it while in her shop or in her car alone. Dessi does go to the occasional concerts nearby where she knows the manager and bouncers very well. She often points out any growing issues that start to rise among the crowd. She also happens to be lucky that the neighbor shop, A tattoo parlor, also enjoys the music coming from the walls between them.

Receiving Gifts

does your muse enjoy giving gifts?  Yes and like a cat leaving gifts at the front door, Dessi has a habit of dropping her gifts in places that she knows the recipient will find later. She has a weird thing about being thanked for her gifts so she drops them off and disappears before the person finds it.

what is a gift your muse is hoping to receive? Dessi would be over the moon if someone gave her the latest release of the rom com book series she is reading. She won’t act like it because she finds it embarrassing but Dessi will stay up all night reading the new book and losing her shit at the plot twists.

does your muse prefer receiving more practical or fun gifts? Practical unless the fun gifts are not encumbering too much with her travels. Unless it's something she can keep at her home.

does your muse like it when someone spends a lot of money on them? She rather likes the gift if there was time and thought spent in it and feels pretty uneasy with expensive gifts.

Cat naps (Dessi x Dettlaff)

Inspired by one of those drabble sentences posts(dont’ mind the grammar stuff) ao3 link here

“You snore in your sleep. But… it’s adorable, okay?”

It was only a few weeks into joining his beloved on her Path when Dettlaff noticed that Dessi is more comfortable letting herself deeply sleep with him around. With that came certain sleep patterns that the vampire has been quite acquainted with. It started with her rolling over in her sleep, facing him before letting out a big sigh. It was a que for what comes within minutes. 

First it was very quiet where most would not have picked up with human hearing, but he knew better. The nasally snore soon picked up from the witcher in her deep sleep. It lasts for several minutes before cutting off sharply and his witcher’s legs twitching and mumbling, what he assumes, explicit insults for whatever she is chasing in her dreams. Dettlaff stifles a chuckle that threatens to rumble out of him at how Dessi’s sleep reminds him of some of his lesser kin who dream of their hunts.

The snoring returned once more from his mate and Dettlaff purrs instinctively from comfort as Dessi’s snores lure him into his own slumber. His mind almost turns to dreams when the sudden leg being thrown over him and a very huffy turn from Dessi has her limbs sprawled out on top of him as her face buries face down into his chest. Dettlaff briefly wonders in his witcher’s ability to breathe when a loud strained snore continues once more.

 Dettlaff’s body immediately tenses as he bites down his own lips to keep his amusement from becoming verbal. Another muffled snore from Dessi broke Dettlaff’s resolve as small, barely contained laughter shook the vampire. The third muffled snore cut off at the sudden movement as a very bleary eyed witcher pushes herself up on Dettlaff's chest and blinks slowly enough it seems she was falling back to sleep. 

“Hmpts goin on?” Dessi mumbles out as her eyes barely focus on the smitten vampire. The vampire rumbled a content purr as he rubbed her back with one hand, 

“It is nothing, my sweet bloom.” The witcher’s already scrunched face scrunches up more, 

“Mph doesn’t sound like nothin.” she moves to lay down again with her head on Dettlaff’s shoulder with a huff. Dettlaff grins down at his witcheress who sleepily expects a further answer.

“You snore in your sleep when you are comfortable. It is,” he pauses, “adorable.”

The silence following leads the vampire believing she has fallen asleep once more as he rubs his hand slowly over her shoulder blades a muffled ‘not adorable’ was heard.

“I assure you they are, mijn zoete bloei”

“No,” Dessi grumbles out.

A smile pulls Dettlaff’s lips into a toothy and teasing smile, “Yes.” he said simply.

“Nngo,” she muffled as she turned her head and buried it into the crook of his neck. He waits this time for a minute or so, his claws gently scratching up and down his witcher’s back in a way that he knew would have her out in record time.

 “Yes,” he said once more, quieter than before so he may get the last word in and for a time, he waited in silence. Soon after he moves to kiss the top of the wild flaming hair of his lover and Dessi shifts only to relax once more in a sigh. Dettlaff moves to lay his head back down and let his own eyes shut as he drifts to his own sleep. His last memory was the nasally snore that picks up.

Dettlaff watches as his witcher adjusts her armor as they prepare to travel again on the Path in just a few moments. The lack of arguing about her own snoring this morning leads the vampire to think that Dessi was not awake enough to remember him teasing her.  He can’t help but hum absentmindedly in amusement. “Oren for your thoughts?” Dettlaff’s eyes meet his lover as he realizes she heard him.

The vampire stood from the fallen tree he had been sitting on and slowly moved over to his witcher and cupped her face. Dessi immediately turns into the hand and kisses his palm, making Dettlaff purr.

He leans in close, “only that I love my mate so very much,” before closing the gap and giving a slow kiss. Dessi melts into him and Dettlaff couldn’t help but grin a bit mischievously into the kiss. The witcher pulls away at the feeling and narrows her eyes with scrutiny which scrunches her face adorably. “And that you snore and I find it quite adorable, my love.” he gives her a toothy smile.

 The way she puffed in exaggerated  indignation gave an image of a riled up ekimarra pup, “It is not cute.”

“It is not,” he notes the different word Dessi used, “it is adorable.” 

“Nuh-uh” the witcher crossed her arms in faux irritation but her lips kept tense to prevent herself from breaking the play and smiling.

“I assure you, it is and I will have the last word once again, my heart.”

Dessi’s brows pinch and her head tilts, “what you mean, again?”

Her confusion puzzled the vampire, “when you woke up last night and told you it was adorable?”

“But I didn't wake up? Slept like a babe,” there was truth in her words and Dettlaff realized she was still asleep then as well. The coming too sparks a new factor that he loves his mate for.

“Ah i must say then that your ‘sleep arguing’ is just as adorable as your snores,” he swoops to kiss her forehead. 

Dessi rolls her eyes, ”did not sleep argue.”

“Did too.”

The witcher just shakes her head and changes the topic, forfeiting the little game of theirs, “Yeah yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night.” she smiles again at Dettlaff, “Let's head out, we should hit the nearest town in a couple of hours.”

“As you wish, my dear,” he follows as she turns, but not without grabbing his hand first. The  witcher gives a short whistle to signal the horses to follow as they walk together. Dettlaff can’t help but think how beautiful it is to learn something else about their loved ones even though they have been together for some time.

Fun Dessi fact #9

What is the silliest thing your OC would argue on? (EX: like that one vine of two dudes arguing on the wicked witch of the west. Or the pineapple on pizza debate, etc.) 1. Dessi can't stand olives and thinks there must be something wrong with a person if they like to just eat them out of a jar like candy. 

2. If there is a version of The Princess Bride in the Witcher verse, she is a die-hard fan and believer it's a timeless classic. She is a bit of a lover for those kinds of stories.  

3. She has gotten into a fight with a fellow cat Witcher who said that if you put Icing on a muffin, then it's a cupcake (It's not and she will fist fight on it. It's a totally different recipe.  ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ  

4. Yelling match on if fruits were sentient beings, who would win a fight. (Was an argument with one of her foster brothers before she was taken by a Witcher for training) it's the lemon.

For the ship ask game can I ask for ur thoughts on Geralt x Regis and your OC Dessi and Dettlaff?👀👀

Geralt x Regis: those two DESERVE EACH OTHER!!!! Like they were purely made for each other!! Really, I'm just a sucker for opposites that love each other. It DOES NOT HELP that every time in Blood & Wine that their convos are so flirty at times, and I would not be surprised if they had lived together in Corvo Bianco, someone would have made an assumption that they were already together. My favorite thing to think about is that they have no idea how much they act like a couple and are completely oblivious (or at least Geralt is) to how others see them.

I am currently rereading the books and haven’t gotten to them again yet but from what I remember, I love how they just come to trust each other. Also, how Geralt couldn’t get rid of the boomerang vampire and just came to accept that Regis was there to stay and help even though the vampire had no need to do it. They have such respect for each other that Geralt does not quite have with certain sorceresses.

Dessi and Dettlaff: I think those two are just too darn adorable. Dessi is the first witcher oc I fleshed out and thought she would be perfect for Detty. Both are fierce on protecting who they love but damn they kinda can get overboard but over time they brought down the excess amounts as they came to trusting they are not alone in protecting others. While Dettlaff is pretty stoic and unsure in how to express himself very well in a human way, he adores Dessi’s wild and open self (when she is not on a contract, of course). She often becomes the focal interest in his small doodles to capture her various facial expressions. Both get along with children and vamp pups very well and Dessi’s more goofy nature with children really pulls him into joining some of the shenanigans. Dettlaff, in turn, grounds Dessi compared to her last lover who constantly had her feeling like she was back on those tight ropes in the caravan, during a storm.

Fun Dessi facts #12

non-sexual intimacy. Do they like it? How do they convey it? 

Dessi is pretty big on cuddling or just being close enough that she leans on dettlaff. She loves to stand behind him while he is sitting on the chair, tinkering with the toys, while she rubs his shoulders and kisses the top of his head. Often Dettlaff just turns to scoop her onto his lap and continues to work. A deeply pleased purr can be heard from him

- sleeping together. What positions? Who wakes up first? Any troubles falling asleep?

It varies, at times Dessi is the little spoon, other times she is the big spoon. Sometimes she likes to lay halfway on top of Dettlaff which he doesn’t mind (think of her as an anxiety blanket). Dessi wakes up at the first crack of dawn just because it’s so ingrained to her from her training. Dettlaff can be a heavy sleeper at times in the morning, so Dessi spends it happily laying next to him till he stirs. Both at times have a hard time falling asleep but having their routine makes it easier and makes them feel rested anyways.

- comfort. How do they comfort each other? How does one know when the other needs comforting? Does the other show it or try to bottle it up? 

Holding each other seems to work for both of them. If Dessi isn’t sure how to comfort she stays in proximity and tries to lighten the mood by being silly. Dettlaff is quick to know when the cat is overwhelmed when she is a bit more snippy(not at him but at little things that don’t work out). Dessi figures Dettlaff is upset when he is overly quiet with his arms crossed a bit more tighter than usual. Dessi has a bit of an issue of bottling up at times but not because she wants to but because she doesn’t recognize that she is upset. Words are hard for her to explain what she is feeling since most of the time she squishes it all down(witcher training i tell you)

- food. Favourite meals? Food rituals? Who cooks? 

Their favorite meals are not quite the dish but the fact they cooked together. Though Dettlaff has learned pretty quickly to be near Dessi when she cooks something besides stew since the burning eggs incident. A lot of the time it turns to Dettlaff cooking and Dessi making bread side by side. Their little cooking ritual involves a bit of silliness as there happens to be a *very* visible flour handprint on a certain bat’s butt without him knowing she left her mark. It’s a game for her to see when he catches on. Most of the other vampires don’t say anything but Anya can't help but giggle at times.

- activities. What do they love doing together? How often? Any special rituals?

 Dessi is thrilled that Dettlaff is up to sparing her which turns into a light banter during their matches. Dettlaff can be quite sassy and Dessi loves it so much. They love having quiet strolls through the woods together, often hand in hand. 

- trinkets. Are there any items they have that remind them of the other? Do they give each other gifts? What kinds? On what occasions, if any?

There is a small green gem bead that Dessi wears on a single braid on her hair that, though not from Dettlaff but one of his pack members, reminds her of her home. They both have a habit of giving little stuff they find randomly to each other that they find either around the Pack’s home or on Dessi’s Path. just little knick knacks and what not. Dessi likes to sneak her gifts into Dettlaff’s belongings without him noticing while Dettlaff is more upfront with it. Dessi crafted a small wooden cat that Dettlaff cherishes and keeps in his pocket at all times. She quietly studied how to wilt the wood by watching him and after many frustrating attempts she gave her last try and hid it among his other carvings. Dettlaff picked up on it right away and beamed in love and pride at his lover’s gesture, even though the ears were a bit crooked.

Fun Dessi fact #11

How well can your character cook or bake? Dessi isn't much of a cook, but she can cook a mean stew and when she can, she makes large amounts. She gets pretty creative on the path with finding new things to throw in the pot when she cooks it. She isn't too good with cooking anything else and she never can get pasta just right. it's either over cooked or not enough. Mashed potatoes are another thing she is good at, and she always makes them loaded. She will burn eggs if someone is not watching her (Dettlaff is always there to help save the day)

Baking? well she takes it to a cat to kneading dough. She finds it very relaxing and gets very into it. Often, she is narrating in different voices on the steps of the process to herself, "ah yes, beat the eggs. Beat them like those lousy bandits." she is very bad with the puns as well as she bakes. Sometimes she doesn't notice her audience that are quietly trying not to laugh at her baking antics

Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆

How, in general, does your character behave? Are they outgoing, reserved, or somewhere in the middle? Do they have any tics? Do they over plan or are they more spontaneous?

Dessi can be thought of as an outgoing introvert. With her circle? She is talkative and ready to GO!!!!! But that changes with people she either doesn’t vibe with or doesn’t know. I guess for tics is that they sniff a lot because of the sensitive nose of witchers. She doesn’t like to particularly plan stuff out because it just makes her more wired or anxious in waiting for said plan to be executed. So she is pretty spontaneous with what she does besides when it comes to contracts…well sometimes. 

Carnival? LETS GOO!! Passing a new store?? MUST CHECK OUT!! Her lover helps her cut back on it a bit but he also enjoys her random detours which brings him out of his own shell

Pickles the Plumard with a button obsession

A mysteries occurrence befalls random villages where when they wake, they discover one or several buttons missing from their clothes.

What they don't see is during the night, a certain cat witcher chasing down the 'beast' responsible so she may wrap Pickles up in a burrito blanket to keep him out of trouble

Pickles found his name when he took a small crash into an empty pickle vat as a juvenile and Dessi nursed him back to health

The rumor that vampires have to count whatever you throw on the floor is a lie, but if you throw a fistful of buttons down, Pickles will be to distracted picking them all up whilst Dessi gets the blanket to capture Pickles with.
