Hey Tumblr!

Why lately some of my posts don't get through?

or that comic by Richard Corben.

These posts don't have anything that would violate the community guidelines and they are not flagged or labeled mature by Tumblr.

They just get stuck in my blog page, and cannot be seen anywhere else.

Anyone else having similiar problems?

wtf, did tumblr take away the ability to click on the account name of the person the post was reblogged from to view it on the pevious person's blog???

if i hover my cursor (which does not appear in screenshots) over gunsandfireandshit's name here, the url is just to their blog homepage instead of the the post on their blog. This has been an extremely useful tool, and I'm not sure why they're changing it!!!

it also completely breaks the ease of checking prev tags if that's something you do.

this makes it so you have to go to view the post on the actual person's tumblr page (NOT BLOG VIEW where it just pops up within the tumblr window on your dashboard) in order to view the post they originally reblogged.

I have to click the postdate to open the post in another window

and now, if i hover over their name here, the url goes to the actual post.

What the hell, @staff? @support are you planning on fixing this?

On Saturday, I turned off tumblr live again for another seven days.

Today I see I can snooze tumblr live for a whopping 30 days now…but even though I have (multiple times), it won’t actually turn off and leave my dash.

What in the actual fuck is wrong with you? Can’t you get anything right? Forget that we actually don’t want tumblr live or for tumblr to turn into/mirror any other platform for a sec. Why do you persist in actively making this beloved hellsite an unlivable place and trying to drive us away until there’s no one left?

Tumblr support does nothing whatsoever for its users but if you complain or you point out too many extreme porn sites they will take away your messaging and basically silence you. They will also shadow ban your ass so you cannot even contact them or anyone else. ask me how I know

You implement a new post editor that's laggy and abysmal.

You reduce content on these search or tag pages to two measly columns.

You then take months to put anything in those columns, which looks horrible.

Your search function breaks after a single search, prompting me to return to the home page if I want to look stuff up again.

You then decided that everybody was interested in something and created a... I dunno, specific column for it? Regardless of the user?

And today, you decided that everybody needed to see somebody from said thing on their dash, regardless of people with scopophobia, coulrophobia, paranoia about viruses on their PCs, who struggle with intrusive media and so on? That if you click on it changes stuff in their background with the posters with at least one big pair of staring eyes saying "WE'RE WATCHING YOU"?

What planet do you live on where you think these changes will induce site traffic?

I am beyond devastated right now. My original Tumblr account, "TheAmaZiNGMindofMooskatheMinnie", that I had built up and loved for over a decade was very unceremoniously terminated. No reason given. This is the third blog I have created since my original account was terminated. They were also terminated. No idea why. It seems to have to do with having the Tumblr app on my phone. As soon as I use the app on my phone with a new account, the account is terminated. @staff has not responded to any of my inquiries about any of the accounts being terminated. Hopefully this account I will be able to keep. I just won't use my phone to access my Tumblr account. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I am trying to find and follow all of my longtime mutuals. If you can think of any I missed, I would appreciate a message letting me know. Thank you!!

This is absolutely ridiculous. Not only do the bots keep continuing to follow people and "like" their posts, they also reveal sexually explicit videos like it's some kind of cheesy hardcore porno film. Also, they leave a "click to watch me live" unwanted link that goes to a fake dating site.

And all I have to do is to keep reporting and blocking. So far I've reported like hundreds of bot accounts and they'll just keep scattering across this site like roaches.

So @staff and @support, when are you guys gonna fix this problem, huh? Whatever you do, just stop moping around, quit tossing pencils up on that ceiling and drop those used magazines that you're reading!

So updated Tumblr. @staff @support is there I way to cancel how the pictures are viewed and go back to the old way? This new way sucks. 1 little mistake, it losses your spot and throws you back to the beginning or takes you to a different post? No like this
