I think quixis absolutely has a "I shouldn't make attachments (but I so have and that *sucks*" mentality (very much like Ajax), so in a hypothetical kaleidoscope exists in some way shape or form universe, quixis just spends a lot of time telling m how they really shouldn't make attachments or friends (I like to imagine m keeps suggesting they talk to Rae wolf and or cas whenever they come over, and or in the "m finally leaves the island and hangs out at the faction base" universe, threatens to drag q to the faction base to "make friends") and m is just telling them how fun it is, to make attachments and friends, and also comforting them because sometimes they'll just go off about how "they can't lose anymore" and m always finds some way to reason them back and comfort them.

("I can't- I can't lose anymore, M! I can't keep *doing this* over and over and *over* again!"
