There’s two pink birds dressed in tuxedos mounted out front. I rip one from the grass. “Goddamn flamingos, man. That was supposed to be our thing.”

A man greets guests at the chapel steps. “Thank you for coming, thank you ah-very much.” Rhinestones. Bell bottoms. Sunglasses.

what do you do for work? I own a website design company. We cater to authors and publishers.

do you have any pets? Three cats and a snake

what first drew you to this fandom? I cruised by Tumblr from time to time looking at content for Hannibal, Voltron, Bill Hader, The 100, various stuff. And everywhere I looked, there were gifsets and photos of Ian and Mickey. It was like the internet was whispering to me that I should explore their story. So I started watching the show. And then I started reading the fanfic. And, let me tell you, the fic reeled me in like none I'd ever read before. I got so obsessed with reading all the amazing stories, and eventually decided to try writing myself.

are you a morning person or a night owl? Night owl by nature. Morning person out of necessity.

what are your hobbies? Fandom, first and foremost. Also hiking, playing card games, solving puzzles, cross stitching, stained glass, going to concerts, local history, geocaching, creating board games, collecting shiny things, papercrafts.

Ian closes the door behind them. He turns around, plans on asking Mickey if he’d like to talk or eat something or maybe just hang out for a little bit. But before he can do any of those things, Mickey’s lips are on his in a fiery, heated exchange. Pent-up arousal, still simmering. Oh. Well. That works too.

He’s going to ignore it but something makes him check.

Iggy: coming home early. dad in bad mood. gonna drop him off & go 2 alibi.

Fuck. Mickey shouts for Ian to get dressed and hustles him out of the house.

Spends a frantic few minutes hiding anything that might show he wasn’t home alone.

By the time Terry arrives, Mickey is calmly sitting on the couch smoking.

“Thank you.” Mickey says to Iggy later.

“What for?”

“The heads up.” He says. For saving my fuckin’ life, he thinks.
