both married a king for the will of their fathers
both were the second wives of a king
both brought big changes to court, especially for what it concerns religion (alicent - faith of the seven; anne - protestantism)
both are famous for the color green
both are called "whore"
both had a daughter who became queen
both had a great ambition
both died alone (even if in two completely different ways)
this is so random, but i love them both and i started to think about their common points out of nowhere and here we are

hiii, you know about those comparisons between aegon ii-aemond-helaena with aegon iv-aemon-naerys, i admit at first I didn't like it but then i saw on twitter someone saying viserys ii is alicent coded and now the more I think about it the more i like it
show alicent and viserys ii there are similar things like being held hostage and forced to marry someone older and rapidly have a bunch of kids then being single parents (i know thecinaclly alicent married but her husband is a bum), dealing with a messy family and incompetents on power, etc.

firstly, i'd like to specify that the comparison between aegon ii, helaena, aemond and aegon iv, naerys, aemon is actually kinda right even if aegon ii was a saint in comparison to aegon iv THE UNWORTHY. and also that the comparison between helaena/aemond and naerys/aemon is possible only if you take in analysis hel and aemond from the show (in my opinion).
for what it concerns show alicent and viserys ii, i have never found a comparison between them, but actually it is pretty interesting. i'd like to read some of these posts/theories actually, if you find them feel free to share them with me!

Whoa! Daemon wields his sword dividing Rhaenyra from Corlys and Rhaenys who wish to counsel her on political matters.
Rhaenyra faces Aemond more directly as Alicent stands in the middle in the background, perhaps trying to mediate. Aemond shields Aegon and their family claim, from Rhaenyra. Criston stands beside Aegon to advise him as Hand.
I love this huge messed up family.
