Art Black Out April 15th

The idea is that on April 15th - World Art Day - artists only post black images to draw awareness to something people take as given: a steady stream of visual content on their dashes. 

We are drawing attention to the ongoing issue of artists being disrespected and their art being stolen or reposted. Let’s make people aware of what the Internet would look like if artists stopped making art because they get discouraged or too scared to post for fear of having their work stolen. 

For one day, let’s flood dashes everywhere with gaping black spaces where art is supposed to be. 

HOW TO JOIN:

On April 15th post completely black images everywhere, on whichever platform it pleases you, and tag them with #artblackout.

Inform yourself on the issue of art theft, reposting and giving credit and spread the word! 

That’s it, well done, and thanks for helping artists to stay motivated to create the awesome content they are giving the world every day.

Between the bunch of confessions I've received, there was one that caught my attention and that finally made me some confidence to release this.

I've been thinking that the whole part of the fandom is on Discord and Twitter and we're just a few here in Facebook and Tumblr, so I thought about join everyone in a whole year event to show the love we have with our boys.

Everything will be okay, we can make fanarts, doodles, headcanons, moodboards, drabbles, one-shots, long-fic, poetry, haikus, amigurumi, idk, what you can do. Even a RT or reblog is fine :)

What makes this event different is that there isn’t a deadline. You can take one of the suggested tropes and post it at the end of the week, the end of the month, change the first week for the last one, what’s important is that you join.

I’m gonna post the tropes monthly, you choose what to do with them.

I hope everyone who loves this ship can join us. This isn't a challenge, if you're not comfortable with the tropes of one week, you can skip it and do whatever you wanna do with the next one.

Entre la cantidad de confesiones que recibí hubo una que me llamó la atención y me dio la confianza para lanzar esto.

Pensé que la mayor parte del fandom está en Discord o Twitter y somos menos en Facebook y Tumblr, así que pensé en que todos participáramos en un evento de un año entero demostrando nuestro amor a nuestros chicos.

Todo va a estar bien, podemos hacer fanarts, doodles, headcanons, moodboards, drabbles, one-shots, long-fic, poesía, haikus, amigurumi, no sé, lo que quieran hacer. Hasta un retweet o reblog está bien :)

Lo que también hace distinto a este evento es que no hay fecha límite de publicación. Podés tomar uno de los dos tropes sugeridos y publicarlo a final de semana, a fin de mes, intercambiar las semanas, lo importante es que participes.

Yo voy a publicar cada mes los prompts correspondientes, ustedes deciden qué hacer con ellos.

Espero que todos los que amen esta ship puedan unirse. Esto no es un desafío, si no estás cómodo con algunos de los tropes de una semana, podés saltearlos y hacer lo que quieras con el siguiente.
