Not a request but do you have any tips for someone wanting to start a edit blog like yours ? (@timepetals-edits)

ok wow i feel like a mentor rn

don't overwork yourself!!! its tempting to keep your inbox open 24 / 7 because it's fun to get new asks, but try to set a limit on how many requests you feel comfortable working on at once and don't go over that for the most part

LOOK AT OTHER BLOGS!!! this is the only way i have any idea what I'm doing, look at other editing blogs, their layouts, their pinned posts, their carrds / rentries / whatever, observe and learn

boundaries over what you will and won't do is also important, make sure to establish those at some point, whether its denying requests you're uncomfortable with or setting up a whitelist / blacklist

if you finish a lot of work in a short span of time, using the queue works well to get your blog on a steady schedule

promo posts are a good way to get yourself out there!! all it is is a little intro about yourself where you tag other edit blogs to advertise you :3

uhhh i don't have that much + take all this with a grain of salt >_> in general observing what other edit blogs were doing is what helped me the most
