We've absolutely smashed past our goal and we'll continue to say a massive massive thank you to everyone supporting this project! We said we weren’t going to do any stretch goals, and we aren’t, but we're going to be working with @technicalgrimoire on an online generator for Ynn!
Some of you may remember the Stygian Library generator that David created during the last project. (if not go check it out its super useful: https://www.technicalgrimoire.com/stygiangenerator)
The generator for Ynn will also be available for free online for everyone to use! (though it will make more sense if you also have the book)

The Gardens of Ynn is a point-crawl adventure set in an ever-shifting extradimensional garden. Each expedition randomly generates a new route as it explores, resulting in different vistas being unlocked with every visit.
The adventure is a perfect zero prep session or campaign for any party of fantasy adventurers, no matter the system or the sub-genre.  We found most ‘zero-prep’ adventures to be bland and lacking in colour, so in Gardens of Ynn every room, encounter and monster is popping with vibes. It's a big garden full of whimsy and delight and surreal perils.
The Gardens of Ynn is statted generically for Old School Systems, making it easily transposed into any fantasy system of your choosing!
We're crowdfunding this fantastic book on Kickstarter and have been absolutely floored by the response so far. Currently sitting at over 880% funded!? Thank you all so so so much for your support and please keep sharing so we can make this the best it can possibly be.

Gardens of Ynn KS Update!
An Online Generator, Gorgeous New Art and FAQs about Stygian...
Some of you may remember David Schirduan of Technical Grimoire’s Stygian Library generator that we did during the last project. Here’s a link.
David has kindly offered to make another generator for Ynn. We’re paying him to do this, and then port both of them over to the SoulMuppet website. This will be available for free online for everyone to use (although it will make more sense if you own the book).
Tumblr media
We have also completed the first draft of layout and you can see a bunch more new art in situ. This is great work from Mina and Bones and I’m loving how this is coming together.
Stygian Library Reprint
We’ve had some questions from backers about the reprint of Stygian Library. A few clarifications:
First, we won’t be updating the layout at all. We’re very happy with it.
Second, we will fix typos in the book before we go to print. If you are aware of any typos in the book please email them to [email protected] and I’ll get them fixed before we go to print.
Thirdly, we’ve only got about 300 of the old black and silver covers left, and we’ll keep selling them as legacy stock on the store. If you would prefer one, we’ll include them as an add-on on BackerKit.
Play By Poll by Mol
Mol is doing a Play by Post of the Gardens of Ynn on SoulMuppet Tumblr and Twitter.
Read along to see what happened so far, then join in by voting upon the threads, and we'll see how this all together doomed expedition fails.
Thanks again for your support and please keep sharing!

Also...
DnD players be like, "I don't get the point of solo ttrpgs" and then spend an entire afternoon crafting their ideal Loxodon Barbarian grappler complete with a fully fleshed-out backstory and NPC connections, who will never see an actual table because there is no plan in their rpg circle for a new DnD game and this like their 10th character they're adding to a library of unplayed PCs.

You begin making your way towards the mysterious black rose, trying carefully to wade through the vast sways of roots and thorns. By the time you reach the centre of the garden and the black rose you are covered in blood, splinters and thorn marks.
As you kneel down to cut the flower, a branch once again tangles you in its grasp. You stand to unhook yourself when two giant frogs lumber into the garden. One sports a large open wound on its side, the other blinks its huge glassy eyes around the garden.

For a moment you debate staying, but adventure awaits and Deeper you go.
Slowly you pick your way through a tangled mass of thorns dotted with beautiful exotic roses. When you hear an ominous ticking coming from beneath the ground. As you look around trying to find the source of the sound you notice, in the center of the rose beds, surrounded by a sea of thorns; a single pure black rose. Stark against the rest of the brilliantly-coloured flowers. Hidden under a cascade of thorns on a near by stone wall someone has written "This is where we came in. Remember this place."

Very well, Deeper you shall go...
Once neat beds of herbs, now overgrown and bursting out of their pots. It is hard to distinguish each from the next but foraging amongst the overgrowth you eventually spot one you think you recognise. Roll a d6 if you wish to pick it.
