So it’s already June 25 here… 7 years that this angel is gone. I can’t help getting emotional on this day. They say it gets easier with time, but I don’t think so. My stomach still hurts when I think about him, I still have a tied throat and feel like throwing up. I was 13 years old when it happened, now I’m almost 20. I’ve dedicated all my teenage years to this man and I regret nothing, I couldn’t ask for a better idol than Michael. Even if it was hard sometimes to cope with all the shit people were saying on him, even if they judged me and are still judging me for loving him, it is so worth it. I think only MJ fans can relate to this, but the love I have for him really goes beyond the relationship idol-fan. It’s way stronger, there is a real connection between him and us that will never dies. If there’s one thing I’m sure in life is that I will forever love and defend him. It’s the least I can do. Thank you for always being there for me Michael ❤️👼🏾

I have NEVER fought with myself so much when it comes to painting a picture. I redid this picture close to 6 times until I finally said “fuck it” and just forced myself to finish it once I had it sketched to my liking. I don’t know if its the angle of his face or just the fact that he is one BEAUTIFUL bastard who is just too perfect to recreate. Rach, you stress me out (but I love you so tis all good).

Actually him and Snake are the reason why I started playing guitar, and even tho I suck at it, I remember he once said: "You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to love it", and it couldn’t be more true.

He’s the ONLY guitarist who made me cried. When he plays, it’s like his guitar is becoming alive, it comes from the soul… And the fact that he created all these INCREDIBLE solos: 18 & Life, I Remember You, In A Darkened Room, Wasted Time, Quicksand Jesus and so much more… just proves that he’s a fucking GENIUS. I mean, gosh. The guy is SO UNDERRATED.

And let’s not talk about what an amazing human being he is, so down to earth, funny and wise.

Happy Birthday to my favorite axe-man, Scotti Hill.

Every band needs that one grouchy, obnoxious guitarist who doesn’t give a shit about anything. Scotti is such an important part of Skid Row, and 9/10 times he’s forgotten about, and that saddens me, the man needs more recognition. He’s an absolute beast on that guitar and has written quite a few amazing songs for the band, two in particular, a co-writer for ‘Mudkicker’ and ‘Born a Beggar’, two of my absolute favorite Skid Row songs, one being from their time with Bach and the other from their Solinger days.

If I ever have a reason to pick up a guitar one day, it would 100% be because of him. I love this guy.
