If you're an artist, you honestly need to play Alan Wake. Not just because of the value of its production, vision and the multimedia style. All of that is amazing, but there is so much under the already great surface. It is incredibly rich in themes. If you're an artist or any sort of creative, play it, pay attention, really think about it. I promise, it is a mind blowing treat. Initially I kinda liked it because I like Lynch and it was a neat homage but it truly goes beyond homage with AW2. It has the exact quality of Lynch movies where so much is kind of abstracted in the details. The story itself is good but there's a whole another conversation happening under the skin of it.

I keep meaning to just make smaller drawings more frequently so I can actually POAST but now I find myself working on bigass projects that I want to be appreciated as a complete thing. But the urge to post sometimes is too strong when you know those projects aren't gonna be finished for maybe months but there's tons of work being done for 'em. Probably relatable for all the industry people. Anyways, small peak at my Shadowrun comic. The final stage is about 20% done, going by the page count.

Damn, it was 2017 when I started it, now 6 years later I might actually end up finishing it. Been working on it on and off, new projects and distractions came, I dropped it entirely for a good while but for the last year or so I've been chipping away at it bit by bit.

My lines did suck ass, and they still do, but much less ass now than before. As much as I wanted to go back and redo everything, I realized if I just keep going back, it is never going to be finished. So art style shifts you usually see maybe every couple or so chapters into a comic are just gonna be throughout this 40 page single chapter. While I still do love 'perfect', I'm starting to embrace 'good enough' more.

Coloring, typesetting and finishing is all just gonna be the one last stage, which I've already started and below are a peek at what it's like at the moment.
