Some bovids of Lishel.

The western savanna is home to Keerso, Vans impala and, Tapper impalas. Keerso are one of the most populous animals in the area, leading to herds being domesticated for meat. Vans impala are seen as blessed animals, and killing them is looked down on. The mountainous western coast is home Guinin, and Tapin. Both have been domesticated, wild populations still exist naturally. Guinin are often used in hauling due to their hefty builds. Tapin are fast, and sure footed. They can jump along tough terrain with ease and are often used for general transport. These species as historically important to the area.

What dose your lil birdbugs evolve from?

What enviroment do they most commonly live in

What do they eat?

How do they communicate with eachother?

Are they solitary or communal?

1. i have some vague ideas for their evolutionary history but nothing official enough to properly answer this question, but its nothing from earth/an already existing animal if ur wondering that

2. they originate in the desert and the majority of ensthirs still live there, both because that is where they are most adapted to live and because most of their home continent is desert/grassland/savannah. they are also found in forests and coasts

3. ensthir are omnivorous, and before civilisation they were opportunistic scavengers so they *can* eat just about anything but they doesn't mean they *want* to eat anything. they're pretty picky nowadays and most actually really dislike meat, as the taste of it on their planet is just downright bad, either cooked or raw. some can be helped by spices, but not all... anyways, i made some posts showing i little snipped of their diet!

4. they have a very multifactorial method of communication, combing many biological tools into one way of speech. firstly they are able to make various sounds by clicking and grinding moutparts together, however this is only a very minimal part of their language. the most central part is the "sign language" used by moving their antennae in specific patterns. the antennae can be compared to both hands and eyebrows; they say words and also express emotion in the way they speak, or in the way they are held when stationary. the tips of the antennae also contain olfactory receptors used for smelling tasting- they can be used to investigate objects or other organisms, or can be used to recieve chemical signals emitted by other ensthir. the chemical signals can only be picked up by physical touch as they don't emit a strong scent. this was originally an evolutionary tactic to avoid attracting predators, but now also makes a great way of "whispering". said chemical signals can be produced by glands above the skin on the chest as well as on the wrists, and is able to be rubbed onto objects. depeding on the signal, it may last for only a few minutes for up to a day. (i dont study chemistry dont ask me for details!!)

5. very communal! it's almost impossible for an esnthir to live alone - not because they physically can't, but because interaction with other individuals as well as just being in their presence is part of their essential mental and emotional needs. an ensthir living in isolation may face a severe decline in mental (and therefore physical) health in only a few earth months. luckily, this doesn't happen very often, as communities are very close and never let any individuals feel left out and take mental health and disorders very seriously, even coming up with their own remedies for such issues, both medicinal and therapeutic.

other colouring brush for blocky colours

i mostly just use the default dip pens to block colours
