What's a shiny badge quest

It's where you catch a shiny before each gym! So by the elite four you have eight shinies to make a team out of. You're only allowed to use your shiny pokemon in battle but you can use non shiny pokemon for hms.

It's pretty difficult not only bc you have to shiny hunt full odds but also you don't get a full team until the sixth gym, it's something I always wanted to complete
