after 4 shiny males I FINALLY caught my female shiny, Unsightly!

She's quite awful at illusions (she ends up looking like an uncanny hybrid) and would kill a man for one (1) bean cake

because of her unsightly appearance, she was mostly abandoned by her family. She lived off of leftover berries and the unbridled suffering from the humans that her mother brought for her siblings. SO she grew up pretty malnourished and underdeveloped. She tries v hard, though!

Lophirox: Psychic energy residing from within its fossil has gathered the surrounding rocks to form an imitation of the form it once had during ancient times. So long as its crest and gem is undamaged, it can keep moving.

Diloxadus: With the help of modern technology, it was able to recreate its form similar to how it was in the past. During prehistoric times, it was a pack predator that used its psychic abilities to communicate with its pack, as well as scare off bigger predators and lull prey with its hypnosis.

trying my hand at drawing my beastars oc, Goliath, in different ways! You can see more about this guy here! and a smidge more info below which I might repeat in the future when I get my beastars info more organized

Did you know that saltwater crocodiles can weigh as much as 1000 kg (about 2000 lbs)??? Though that’s on the high end of things, the average is more like 450 kg (1000 lbs), which is still BIG. with that weight in mind plus the elongated limbs, Goliath is a HEAVY mfer, with his legs having to carry all that weight around. P sure there’s a reason crocos stay on their bellies, but for beastars we’ll pretend its not a huge feat! He would probably only be dwarfed by elephants, rhinos, and the like.

Anyways, his large size is passed down from his family; his great grandfather used his size to take control of parts of the black market in his area. Being the largest creature to travel both land and sea, he set up his “mafia” of sorts right near the water, where he can use it to his advantage. He is still alive and very very old, his weight becoming a bit saggy and slow. Still a very dangerous individual and his bite is not to be messed with!!

From a bab, Goliath lived with his great grandfather. He was on a strictly carnivorous black market diet before he even knew what it was made out of, per his ggfather’s insistence. At a little older, his great grandmother took him out of that dangerous environment and weaned him off of black market meat. Luckily he got off of it young enough, now a days he doesn’t even remember the taste (just that it was good)! He feels guilty about his diet as a bab and really isn’t interested in going back to it. Now his primary food is egg!  

Living w his gmother, he was put into an all carnivore school. The area he grew up in was small and very segregated, so he got very little herbivore interaction (but not zero). It wasn’t until he left for college when he was pretty much thrown into an integrated environment, carns and herbs all intermingling in the same buildings!

His major is undecided, he gets very good grades, and he looooves to swim and is VERY good at it, but will only swim late when no one else is there. He has his reasons. And said reasons keep him from joining the swimming team, much to the dismay of his future friends!

This is all liable to change or at least be altered slightly in the future! Just putting my current thoughts out!

this doodle in particular is a shoutout to ace kids!! Also, some kind of personal stuff below!

Ritsu really reminded me of what I was like when I was a child, which is why I personally saw him as an ace-coded kid. I was super surprised to see some misconceptions around being ace, especially when the ace community is so diverse and colorful!

Sure, it can be common to find aces that have little to no interest in being intimate, but it is NOT a requirement and it is NOT what makes an ace person ace!

I knew there was something “wrong” with me way back when my only knowledge on sex was from American sex ed classes (which is to say, none at all). I didn’t have a word for it until high school, and even then my peers told me it wasn’t a real thing. I’m really glad we’ve come such a long way!

So this is for all the ace kids! You exist, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone!

(btw I personally headcanon Tsubomi as growing up ace, but once she discovers more about herself decides on lesbian!)
