Its been happening more and more recently. Yesterday it was a picture of a grocery store in Florida that I swore I had seen the exact place the way it looked in the picture. I knew exactly what store it was too.

The picture was from 1975. I saw another of the same store that looked ridiculously familiar. It was from the 60s. I looked up modern day pictures of the place, knowing damn well I had been there and somehow the 60s/70s pictures looked more familiar.

But now.. I was looking at old kids toys. Keep in mind all toys I had when I was a kid were from the 2000s. None of them used to belong to my parents or anything. They were all new and 90% of the time I was there when they were bought unless they were Christmas gifts or birthday gifts.

But today. I saw this very specific Fisher Price playset and it looks far too familiar. I have such clear memories of having this as a kid and I know I didn’t. Yet it feels like I did for some reason. I can’t find an exact year but everything I’ve seen on when this was released says somewhere between 1970 and 1985 so definitely not when I was a kid..
