Them: "Who are you trying to prove wrong??" Me: "Myself" When we're on the break of a new lifestyle, one that includes an enormous amount of vulnerability and expression, most of ourselves is usually on board. But sometimes, there's that one faint voice in our minds that tells us we can't be great and successful and eternally happy. This voice could be a result of various experiences in our lives, but the moment we CHOOSE to stop listening or even hearing that puny voice and go for our dreams, no matter the circumstances, is the moment we begin to live and love freely with trust in ourselves and the universe to move in our favor. When WE finally acknowledge that our potential is infinite, we will be able to achieve our "impossible".

Relentless Nights

I would see the morning as a savior

restless hours of the night relentless

for my mind 

I could feel madness creeping inside

clouding the left 

I’m so irrational

unable to do what I want with myself

looking for this unsettles soul some rest

and peace

within honeyed words unkept

It’s time to accept

the hand I’ve been dealt

purge my perception of deceit

recognize

it in no one’s eyes

not even my own

for I know every soul

was born of gold

acceptance is the key

to behold

The flame in my heart Is a gift from Venus For I was born of god’s tears Growing with every breath Every soul governed movement I’ve endured Dramatic evaporation Losing streams to the blaze Viscous docile Dammed streams Streams easily captured by jars Easily flowing backward By the wind’s whisper My inner fires Did away with the diffident To give way to the defiant A hot spring with angel wings My new “try it” is triumph
