Sally Smithson/The Nurse

Sally’s mask still smells like smoke from the asylum fire, leaving her hair with the permanent scent of ash. Please, when she takes off the cloth, play with her hair. It helps ground her in a way no one but you can.

The small things mean a lot to Sally, and she always takes note of them. You mentioned you like dancing? She’ll find a music box so you can dance together. You blush when her hands linger on yours? She’ll always find a reason to intertwine her fingers with yours.

The Nurse prefers to stay in her own realm, but if she doesn’t hear from you for a while she has no issue stalking around the boundary of the survivor camp to check you’re ok, much to the horror of anyone to see her.

Sally spends a lot of her time asleep on the various pieces of furniture in the Disturbed Ward, recovering from the fatigue of trials. Often she’ll draw up her mask to uncover her mouth, just to make breathing a little easier than normal.

Despite this, she’s so lively when you’re around, she can’t help but feel energised by your presence. It’s almost like she’s a match lit up whenever you come to see her.

You had a rough day/night? Please come to see Sally, she knows just how to help. She’ll pick you up bridal style and keep you safely tucked to her chest while carrying you to the nearest couch. Sitting down, she’ll keep you held close to her while stroking your hair and pressing soft kisses to the crown of your head.

Though she’s very changed now, Sally was once a nurse, and she has the best treatment reserved for only you <3

Adiris/The Plague

Adiris is someone who is very regal and reserved, often keeping her emotions hidden behind her ever guarded face.

Yet, you always manage to draw out her expressions. It starts with a small smile she can’t help when she sees you come to visit her, then a chuckle when you do something amusing, and if you catch her off guard by linking your hands with hers, you can even make her blush.

Adiris is so touch starved from years of attempting to keep the people around her rid of her infection, so it takes her a while to warm up to being physically affectionate with you. Though she craves nothing more than to hold you close to her, she’s scared to death about infecting you as well.

Instead, Adiris opts to use her words to express her feelings towards you (at least until she figures out The Entity prevents you from getting sick or infected outside trials). She was always well spoken in her life before the fog, and knowing that she’s speaking to you motivates her more. Though her babylonian words may be unfamiliar to your ears, with the adoring look in the priestess’s face the praise and meaning comes across the same.

After establishing physical contact is safe, you’ll have to help warm Adiris up to it, show her that you reciprocate her affections. Please, show her you’re not put off or disturbed by her scars and disfigurement. Hold her hands to your cheeks and kiss her palms, massage her shoulders after a trial, wrap your arms around her waist and hug her tightly, she loves it all. Adiris goes especially red if you pair these actions with sweet whispers against her skin, “my priestess”, “you’re gorgeous”, “please, you’re so much to me”.

Adiris will always find a way to be touching you somehow. A strong hand on your shoulder, an arm sneaking around your waist, her chest pressing into your back as she helps you reach for something. She loves it most when she gets you to rest your head in her lap, carding her slim fingers through your hair and hushing you to sleep.

While you may just be a regular person thrown into the hellish playground of The Entity, Adiris believes with her whole heart that you’re a gift from her gods, one that she makes sure to show how much she cherishes <3

i like to think albert and alex would absolutely terrorize spencer when they were kids. like. i love the idea of them finding ways of their own of having a slightly normal childhood and terrorizing spencer was one of those things theyd do together lol they make little evil schemes together >:)

technically this true in lore because albert dipped after he was presumed dead and did his own thing for a while (then killed him 😭)

and alex literally made spencer think she was on his side so he could send her resources and test subjects for her own work before also dipping when her work was done LMAO

authenticity. yui was raised around authenticity. she isn't afraid to be herself and unapologetic in doing so. she expects the same from you. she wants to get to know the real you and do not test her: she can tell if your entire being is a mask, but she is understanding.

hope. this is a no brainer but it seems everywhere yui goes she leaves a trail of hope and reason. she views it as a very powerful asset because it is. she doesn't just hope to get out of this hellish place but she hopes to spend her life with you. you, just like her gang and her pink hachimaki, are another beacon of hope.

self-defense. if you already know it, great! if you don't, then she will teach you. she is BIG on this. she can't handle the sight of people being hurt. she doesn't treat you like a fragile butterfly either. while she is protective, she doesn't want to seem overbearing or like some concerned parent.

knowledge. she is a very knowledgeable woman. she can pick things up within mere days. these skills are important to the both of you! its a learning process and its a way for her to bond with you, to get closer to you, to see what you love. maybe you taught her how to sew and now she can fix up any of her clothes. she definitely taught you all about motorcycles and mechanics just in case- no need for a handy man, yui is there!

luck. it seems the two of you get out of most conflicts unscathed. she considers you her lucky charm, boosting the power of that handy pink hachimaki. she has another one, another pink one that just has your signature on it. she wears it all the time or at least keeps it on her person.

tenderness. she is an intimidating person, yes, but she is genuinely a kind and generous soul. when yui feels, she feels. the moment she laid eyes on you she felt a powerful wave of calm slowing the turbulence in her head. she loves to have you in her arms, running her painted nails through your hair in a soothing manner as you both lay on the couch simply resting. she could fall asleep to it.

busy schedule. yui has a busy schedule of trials and such (and you do too) but she always tries to make time for you, even if its just a few minutes. you are always worth her time. not a second is wasted between the two of you! all that time with you is cherished and appreciated especially considering this place is now home to the both of you.

investigation. this isnt a surprise given she is an occult investigator. she has to know at least something about everybody and so she will probe into you somewhat. expect her to ask questions about you but nothing too deep, just shallow things. if it makes you unsteady or uncomfortable she will recognize the signs and lay off. this also applies when you two are dating. if you have unanswered questions she is determined to help you find a conclusion. 

independence. this has been sparked from her natural stubbornness, fueled by the loss of her parents and those who cared for her. she’s a very independent woman but she doesn’t mind if you rely on her (just not completely). it will be hard to get her to be open and vulnerable. with due time she will open her heart and soul to you as you did to her.

resilience. she demands answers, explanation, and reason. it will help her keep those dear to her safe.no matter how many times she may fall she will get back up and persist. élodie doesn’t give up. everything she does is not just for her parents but you. you’re alive. you’re with her in the flesh. like hell she will lose you too.

nightmares. while these are not as frequent like her life before the fog, they are just as intense. you sometimes find yourself waking up to her shaking, cold, tear-stricken. she, on occasion, denies help out of fear that it would drive you away from her. you persist, reassuring her that you are with her and eventually she caves to your comfort and help..

candles. as always, élodie lights that signature vanilla candle to find her peace. you found this one evening when you visited. you found her trembling, tense, and lighting a candle. she never really explained what was wrong but your observation was astute. now you know what brings her comfort in times of distress. maybe you too find comfort in this vanilla candle.

conspiracies. anything goes in the realm of the entity. the universe bends laws in a near incoherent manner. she is determined to understand it and this leads to some outlandish conspiracies and theories. she just needs someone to listen to her, to give feedback. you’re the one that didn’t react negatively, instead understanding her thoughts and offering your own. you’re in this together! 

stubbornness. élodie has always been stubborn and that will not change, but it can be “quantified”. at first you can run into some complications with this and its mostly it comes to her safety. you can protest and she still braves the unknown. this has has definitely gotten her hurt and the look on your face and the tears in your eyes are what made her realize her faults. she now is more cautious, for your sake.

friendship. first, you had to be his friend. it was a bit hard as he can be quite skittish around people. élodie is the one who formally introduced the two of you to each other. you guided the conversation quite well and that eased felix’s anxiety.

compromise. he’s a passive person and a negotiator. he hates conflict and stresses more than he should. if you two ever had an argument (they’re pretty healthy) he always tries to find the middle ground and almost every time you two reach it.

work. he still works. him sketching, thinking, imagining, and so much more. it keeps his mind occupied and his skills sharp! just like life before the fog he is a workaholic. he will work for hours and rarely take breaks and you will have to pull him back. you remind him that breaks are necessary and his project looks amazing. small moments like those are something felix cherishes.

learning. with relationships come learning. you two learn not only about each other but from each other. felix can teach patience, diligence, and compromise. you can teach self-care, self-love, and balance.

privacy. felix is a man who likes his privacy and his personal space. this can be frustrating sometimes due to his social anxiety, if you feel neglected, you have to tell him and he is more than happy to give you more of his time! it’ll be a bit hard for him because of his workaholic nature but he will just for you.

safety. he is ALL about caution and safety. you can never be too careful! his architect job made him worry about all kinds of hazards and safety issues in his or others’ designs. his losses throughout life made him very wary. he cannot handle another loss in his life, it’ll break him. so, he is concerned about your safety more than anything.

grief. he’s lost everyone much like most people in the realm but his goes quite deeper. he lost his parents, his friends, his girlfriend, his child... everyone except élodie. this grief hits him hard so there will be times he’s sunken, defeated, reminded of all the loss he’s suffered. having you by his side helps but he is scared he will one day lose you too. 

cooking. felix can cook pretty good. he loves to introduce you to some of his favorite meals and treats from his childhood. especially during around the time of oktoberfest. expect a good home cooked meal after a tough day.

guilt. he cannot help but feel guilty for the reason of those losses in his life. it affects him greatly, gearing him down a path of perfectionism and self-loathing. you reassuring him that it wasnt his fault helps out a lot more than you think. he seems stubborn, but deep down he appreciates your comfort and validation.

at first you werent able to give kiss when you attempted to get close. it didn't think much about it the first few times other than you were a fool for approaching it. you were easy prey and it took advantage of that. you were within hit reach, how could it not?

but you kept doing it, stopping at nothing just to get close, including nightfall. it's confused. the dredge is nightmare fuel, darkness itself and you arent afraid? why? why are you doing this? are you asking to die? so, it always took advantage of your bold approach but you're RELENTLESS, as if it didnt faze you. it's not very sure what to feel. its kind of hard to feel anything anyway due to the victims its consumed and all the dark/negative emotions.

everyone have darkness within them and the dredge has seen it ALL, but due to your pursuit it found yours to be potent and unique. you made it feel something. the dredge's not sure if it likes it, but its intriguing. its drawn to you. it figures it can use your darkness to its' advantage.

this starts some bond. its a twisted one. it saves the best for last for consumption or sacrifice because your use is up. it knows it'll see you again so it doesn't weigh heavy on its' mind.

the fact you try to seek the dredge out and get as close as possible even after dying and falling victim to its' darkness, its' whispers, its' hands bewilders it more than anything. you're one brave soul. it finds itself beginning to care. it seems like you don't really deserve this.

so, the moment you are actually able to snag a kiss… it freezes up with some awkward stare. its not stupid; its seen humanity and knows what affection is. it rears its head back as if it was surprised (cue the windows start up noise). it felt… endearing! it was like some gift, an offering, devotion. it was affection. so, the dredge lingered its' gaze on you and trailed off into the darkness to terrorize your teammates. now you learned that it can have some emotional capacity. your plan is working! that kiss deepened your bond so perhaps that is the start of the relationship.

a relationship? with THIS thing? you are free to approach without risk of injury but you have to give it a kiss. its kind of cute unless you dont deliver so it hooks you. it never sacrifices or consumes you though. it attempts to find you first in every trial, sometimes bursting out of a locker to pull you in. the dredge finds it entertaining to hear your surprised shout.

it appreciates your company and presence. sometimes it can get lonely! it follows you everywhere like some lost puppy or takes you to the garden of joy. it also shows affection of its own through cuddling or headbumping you like a cat. it even purrs but sounds way deeper.

sometimes it will let you decorate the skulls on its' back with anything whether its paint, stickers, ribbons, really anything you can find.

anxiety. its no surprise dwight is an anxious person and if you are too then same boat, same hat! that anxiety is what makes him powerful though. in your time of need the leader comes through to calm you down and once you do, he calms down too. panic can spread and that’s not good for the team!

integrity. he feels like he cannot hide anything from you. if he fucks up, he will apologize even if he doesn’t see it at first and always keeps it in the back of his head to make himself better. consistency is key after all. you two simply move on in a consistent upward growth!

comfort. this matters a lot to dwight. he wouldn’t be a good boyfriend if he didn’t care for your comfort! he’s one of the best people to go to when you’re upset and he tailors it to you. whether its him having your arms around you as you cry into his shoulder or hearing you vent about what is on your mind, he will be there for you.

conversation. he’s awkward at first but when he gets used to you he just cannot seem to shut his mouth and its endearing. he rambles about anything really he likes, which can include you. its even better if you like to talk too because you two can go off into some really interesting conversations. he mentally notes things you like so he can ask questions later just to hear you talk more :)

yearning. dwight can be a little clingy and he yearns for you constantly. your voice, your eyes, your entire being. you are the first thing he thinks about when he wakes up and the last thing he thinks about when he goes to bed. you make it worth it for another day. 

affection. expect a lot of affection from him when he sees you. his eyes immediately light up and he cant help but immediately be drawn to you. its a tight, warm hug followed by a quiet “i’ve missed you” in your ear. he also likes to press kisses to your nose. he gets a little embarrassed about pda though. most he’ll do is hand holding or a small kiss to the cheek.

gentleness. he’s a very gentle person. he’s tender in a lot of ways; from the way he holds you to the way he looks at you. everything with him is soft and loving. it’s not that he thinks you’re fragile or anything, its just how he is and again: your comfort matters the most to him.
