Title, who she?

“So I told him I was straight. Ya know, like a liar,” Connor stated with a straight face. Evan, who was walking right beside him, snorted.
“T-to the teacher? Con, you didn’t,” Evan giggled, his eyes sparkling as he looked up at Connor.
“You’re right, I didn’t,” he confirmed. “But I should’ve.” Connor smirked, glancing over at Evan. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, they could almost feel time stop.
“I, um… uh,” Evan quickly turned away, feeling his cheeks heating up as he struggled to form words. He folded his arms across his chest, looking at the ground.Connor frowned slightly, shoving his hands in the pockets of his black hoodie while he looked around.
It was a chilly evening, and the streets were lit only by the setting sun. The two continued to walk in awkward silence, not daring to risk making eye contact again.
“So, uh… seen any nice trees lately..?” Connor asked, breaking the tension. Evan chuckled.
“Nah, just you,” he responded automatically, the words spilling from his mouth before he could stop them. Connor threw his head back laughing. “W-wait, that’s, um, th-that’s not what I meant-! I, uh, I just meant that, ya know, you're… you’re tall and, and-” he cut himself off before he could say anything else and somehow make this worse.
“Ev,” Connor wheezed, a broad grin stretched across his face, “I had no idea you could be that smooth.” Evan buried his face in his hands, silently praying for death. He could feel his face burning.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to-”
“Evan,” Connor cut him off. “That was, like, the greatest thing I’ve ever heard in my life, don’t be sorry for that.” Evan flushed a brighter red, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
“Oh, um, alright. That’s, uh… that’s good,” he muttered, half to himself. He once again crossed his arms over his chest, shivering softly. Connor glanced over at Evan, tilting his head slightly to the side.
“You cold? Here, take my jacket,” Connor offered, unzipping his hoodie. Evan frantically shook his head, grabbing Connor’s hands to stop the action.
“No no, I’m fine, I don’t need it,” he responded quickly. His eyes widened when he realized he was holding Connor’s hands, looking up at him. Connor wore a smug grin. Evan swiftly withdrew his hands, grabbing onto the hem of his shirt instead as he looked at the ground. Connor removed his jacket, draping it over Evan’s shoulders. Connor’s scent engulfed Evan, and he looked up at Connor with a confused smile.
“You looked cold,” Connor shrugged. Evan laughed nervously.
“Ha… n-no homo, though,” he joked awkwardly, earning a gasp from Connor. Evan quickly looked over, finding Connor with a hand placed dramatically over his chest, his face contorted into one of fake offence.
“I’ll have you know, Hansen, when you borrow something of mine, it’s always in a homosexual way,” he explained, a pout on his face. Evan blinked, his cheeks once again turning a bright shade of red.
“I, uh…” Evan didn’t know what to say, so he decided to do. He grabbed Connor’s face, pulling him down and pressing a kiss to his lips.
“What’re you- mmph-!” Connor’s eyes widened and he felt Evan’s soft lips against his own chapped ones. After Evan pulled away, Connor unconsciously brought his fingertips to his lips, his cheeks dusted with pink.
“I-I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have-” Connor cut off Evan’s apology with another kiss. He pulled back, keeping his face near Evan’s. “Wow…” he murmured breathlessly, his eyes locked on Connor’s.
“Yeah, wow,” Connor echoed, a soft smile gracing his face. The pair stood silent for a while, processing what had happened.
“I… are we..?” Evan questioned, nervously biting his lip, and he looked up at Connor, who nodded.
“I mean, yeah. If you want that,” he mumbled, glancing to the side. Evan pressed his lips to Connor’s cheek.
“I do.”
