And then they go to that playground and set up a cute little picnic and Kiko courge the cowardly dogs and they find Stella and it turns out they're both magic somehow but, like Selena, her friend is a witch but unlike Selena, she manages to bully the trix back and pretty much becomes powerful in an It: chapter 2 way where "What's the best way to make someone feel small?" "Make them believe it!"

And then she'd compare Icys hairline to Pennywise the dancing clown, too.

I'm gonna take a break from talking about marvel for a moment to rant about something near and dear to my heart: hearing. And how painful loud noises can be when you can hear really well. I have, what my doctor called when I was a baby, "hyper-sensitive hearing." Basically, I had to wear earplugs to sleep at age 6, and now I need music or podcasts to focus on any real task. So, I turned on the soundtrack for Encanto to try to focus on cleaning to move.

But then... I heard something that made Cousin Delores incredibly relatable...and incredibly sad. To me at least.

"Cousin delores; can hear a pin drop"

We saw, at the scene where Antonio got his gift, that the events that happen at these ceremonies that Abulea essentially forced on her children and grandchildren are very loud, intense events.

Now think about Delores. It must have been horrifying to suddenly be gifted with super hearing (hyper sensitivity to sound) and then have people celebrating around her, a camera possibly flashing, people constantly breaking into song, and especially the Casita, all at once. And having to live there. She has to keep her own voice down as low as it'll get so she doesn't hurt herself. She covers her ears, the loudest noises she makes when she isn't singing is little nervous squeaks, and her whole demeanor throughout the movie...it's heartbreaking to think about, especially as someone with very sensitive ears since I was born.

If you were in the MCU fandom in 2008 when the first Iron Man film released, congratulations! It's your 16th anniversary of being in the MCU fandom. The 16th MCU fanniversary, if you will.

Am I upset and feel old now that it's been 16 years of borderline obsession with these movies? Hell no! What a silly question.

They'll keep making these movies til the actors need to be escorted on and off set because they'll hurt their backs or can't fight anymore because of arthritis.

And I'll keep watching. Because I need to know what happens next.
