Day 6 - 07/08/19
Hi guys, it’s me again! I have my first essay submitted and I’m about to write my essay plan for essay number two, although the next two essays are due for Monday so I have a lot of work to do. I also have an exam to study for on Friday.
Anyone have any tips or tricks for concentrating or studying, especially with a mental health disorder?
Much love,
SPG x

Dripping like honey from the lips of Gods,
The sun’s rays sweetly shower your frame;
Wild hair and wilder eyes caught between
Never-ending sky and an impossible horizon.
Glistening, you raise your brow skywards
And, under the powder blue,
We are hard-boiled sweets,
Stuck together in humid embrace.
Tonight’s lullaby is the racing of your heart
In time with my own -
Our shared breaths, laughs, smiles -
Immortalised here - evermore -

Day 5 - 27/07/19
I thought I would take a break after a day’s work before the research for my next essay begins in earnest to hop on here and update everyone (well, me so far) on how things are going and post a little poem!
So I’m pretty tired and sore after my shift at the call centre - sitting in one place making calls is not glamorous, just stiffening lol.
The thought of all the work that is about to go into my English Language essay is awfully daunting, but it’ll be interesting and fulfilling when finished.
I hope, although I won’t promise, that I’ll become a more dedicated blogger, a more creative writer, and an all-round better person.
Much love,
SPG x

Day 4 - 25/07/19
I’ve been super awful at keeping up with all of my social media, and have been suffering with severe writer’s block.
I’m also hyper-aware that no-one is really keeping tabs on this blog now but hopefully in the future we can build up a wholesome community!
Much love,

Day 3 - 16/06/19
Here’s a little poem I wrote. Let me know what you think!
Much love, SPG!x
When I was young
I wanted to be a surgeon;
To cut people open,
See their insides, what makes
Them tick - and reassemble
Fix it up and send them on.
Now I am older,
I am a poet. Cutting myself
Open and seeing my insides.
Not knowing what makes me tick
But assembling, writing, anyway -

Day 2 - 27/04/19
I clearly haven’t been very good at this blogging thing thus far!
I would like to say I’ve been hard at work, finishing university essays and taking every shift my job offers. Lmaooo instead I’ve been  moping around my halls with no money and even less motivation.
I’m back though, and hopefully I’ll start posting poetry and even a little short story or two!
Much love, SPG x

Day 1 - 01/04/19
So this is my introduction to a blog fully dedicated to my craft (writing).
I do have another blog but I wanted to make somewhere just to post poetry, prose, and other creative bits and bobs! I am super excited to see where this takes me and hopefully this will help me get into a routine of writing daily and sharing my thought and feelings via the written word. This is super rambly which I’m putting down to tiredness and excitement with a hint of trepidation.
Much love, SPG x
